Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for May 29, 2021

In backstage stage footage from last week, Quinn McKay interviews The Foundation (Rhett Titus and "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams). Williams says he cannot wait to ice his back, and says that OGK (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) still has what it takes despite Matt Taven being injured showing up and like a true fighter. He thanks OGK for the fight, and tells them that they have earned their way to the top. Williams then announces that from here on out, all of their matches for the tag team titles will be under Pure Rules as part of their rebuilding of the company.

LSG beats Joe Keys with a La Magistral Cradle. As per pre-match stipulation, LSG gts to choose whichever division - Pure or Television - he wants to be ranked in. Both men shake hands after the match.

Backstage, Quinn McKay interviews LSG. LSG says that Joe Keys is a pure wrestler and knows what he fights for, then says that he belives in what The Foundation (Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham, Rhett Titus, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams) is fighting for and opts to be part of the Pure division.

Backstage, Quinn McKay interviews "The Last Real Man" Silas Young, who calls cheating "using a veteran move" when Josh "The Goods" Woods shows up and says Silas could never beat him fair and square. Silas says he is still the winner in the record book, and says he can pin or submit Woods in a Pure Rules Match if that is what it takes. Woods says he would love to see that. The match is official for next week.

We hear from VLNCE UNLTD (Brody King, Tony Deppen, "The Dirty Daddy" Chris Dickinson, Homicide). Brody King says that is Jay Lethal is "just going to die." Chris Dickinson says that they know about fighting, while Homicide says that he is from Brooklyn and not "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams, and says that The Foundation (Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham, Rhett Titus, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams), is going down. Tony Deppen there is violence in honor, and that they are the most violent people. He tells The Foundation for some real violence, as they know what it is and don't believe in their rules. We then hear from Jay Lethal that he hopes that Brody King is rested up and has found some like-minded individuals, then talks about his history with Homicide before saying that VLNCE UNLTD is outmatched.

Kenny King guests on commentary for the next match, despite La Faccion Ingobernables (Rush, Dragon Lee, Kenny King, La Bestia del Ring) being suspended without pay for the month of May.

VLNCE UNLTD (Brody King, Tony Deppen, "The Dirty Daddy" Chris Dickinson, Homicide) beat The Foundation (Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham, Rhett Titus, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams) in an eight man tag match.
