Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for May 24, 2019

Sami Callihan beats Fallah Bahh despite the failed interference of Jake Crist and Dave Crist. After the match, Sami spits at "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux.

We hear from Tommy Dreamer, who talks about his first match with Rob Van Dam in 1996, their WWE match in Madison Square Garden, their main event match in Hardcore Justice, and what could be their last match ever and their friendship coming full circle. He says that they will both give their all in their match tonight and that they will go to the extreme.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Johnny Impact, who says he helped "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin because he like sending people to the hospital. As he talks, Elgin is right behind him. Johnny then notices Elgin is behind him, and Elgin tells Johnny he is right. Johnny proposes they team up against Willie Mack and Rich Swann and put them both in the hospital. Elgin likes the idea, but says he wants to send everybody to the hospital.

Taya Valkyrie retains the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Championship against Madison Rayne after Taya grabs the referee to counter a reverse DDT from Madison. After the match, Rosemary shows up with Su Yung and ties Su Yung up before entering the ring and confronting Taya.

We see The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake Deaner) at Pat's King of Steaks as they go over their sacrifices and their plans to dominate the tag team division before having a beer.

Backstage, Father James Mitchell commends Rosemary, saying he always thought of her as family, but tells her that stealing bridesmaid from his harem is wearing thin and that he wants Su Yung back. Rosemary says she is done with him and that she has what she wanted, and tells him she is on a new mission as she tells him to go back under his father's boots as the dress that Su Yung killed in will be the dress she dies in.

The Impact Plus Moment of the Week is Raven vs. Sandman at NWA-TNA Pay-Per-View #32.

We hear from Eddie Edwards, who says that despite the recent highs and lows, Kenny the Kendo Stick has been a constant and has always been there for him. He says that Killer Kross took away the one constant in his life, and next week, he will give the fans their money's worth by breaking him in half like Kross did to Kenny.

At the clubhouse, The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz) have another training montage where they start smoking weed again before going back to training. This time, however, their results are much better.

The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) retain the Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championships against The North (Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander).

Before the next match, Glenn Gilberti says that since he is the only person who will give an honest opinion about women's wrestling, he will be giving commentary for his own match tonight. He then mentions that he has found a female wrestler who has volunteered for the next match: Ashley Vox. Ashley Vox, a wrestler with four years experience, introduces herself at Gilberti's request, then asks if it has been four years since she was fired from Hooters and asks who she is dating in the back. The match then begins with Glenn Gilberti hitting Ashley with a cheap shot to the gut before he mercilessly mocks her.

Glenn Gilberti vs. Ashley Vox ends after Tessa Blanchard chases Gilberti out of the ring as he goes for another Chart Buster.

Dezmond Xavier beats Rohit Raju, "The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams and Ace Austin.

Rob Van Dam beats Tommy Dreamer. After the match, The North rush in and attack RVD and Dreamer. Dreamer and RVD quickly get the upper hand, but Moose runs in. Moose is about to boot RVD in the face when the lights go out. When they come back on, Sabu is in the ring throwing chairs. RVD and Sabu take down Moose and The North, then they and Dreamer celebrate in the ring.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
