Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for May 31, 2019

Tommy Dreamer, Sabu and Rob Van Dam beat Moose and The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander).

We hear from "The Machine" Brian Cage. While he can train again, he is still not yet clear to compete, and when he is, he will be back in the ring doing what he does better than anyone else. He says he is also sick and tired of "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin's bragging about putting him in the hospital, and says that whether he is clear or not, he will be defending the Impact World Championship at Slammiversary.

We hear from Moose, who says that Killer Kross is too self-centered and psychotic to have his back and that The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) is not good enough to have his back, and that from this day on, he has to handle things himself.

Before the next match, Glenn Gilberti takes the microphone and says that to show he is not that bad a guy, he will give Tessa Blanchard credit for being one of the most talented women's wrestlers, then says it's like being the best player on the Philadelphia Flyers, as it does not count for much. She says that while the women's revolution is a road to stardom, it is a road full of potholes that can lead one off a cliff, and that the women's revolution is a car crash waiting to happen due to "how women drivers are." He then mentions Tessa's father being Tully Blanchard, and says that if she still has daddy issues tonight, he'll be her daddy. Tessa beats up Gilberti and very quickly gets the win. After the match, the crowd chants "She's your daddy."

The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz) are met not by "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux, but by The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz), who say they are ready for their tag team title match. Konnan tells The Rascalz that the match is on. Afterwards, Trey Miguel drinks the entirety of Ortiz' flask, including what is in the two glasses on the table, much to the surprise of Ortiz.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Rich Swann and Willie Mack. Swann says Michael Elgin has tried to put them in the hospital, but they are still standing, and somehow, Johnny Impact manages to get in those situations. He says that Johnny and Elgin are going to get a dose of charisma and raw talent tonight. Mack says that if they want to step up tonight, they have that fire.

The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake) beat The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju and Raj Singh) with a schoolkid pin from Cody Deaner to Raj Singh.

We hear from Killer Kross, who tells Eddie Edwards that ignorance is a universal disease and that truth is the universal remedy. He plans to prove that by giving him a beating following his abandonment issues with Kenny, his wife Alicia and even God himself.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin, who says that "The Machine" Brian Cage is "just plain dumb" and that Impact should just hand the world title to him. After saying that he will make a special call for a hearse for Cage at Slammiversary, Johnny Impact says he can make his way into the world title picture before saying that they can coexist tonight. Elgin says that if he can do his part, they can get along just fine tonight.

Eddie Edwards beats Killer Kross in a Street Fight after The Sandman shows up and attacks Kross with his Singapore cane. After the match, The Sandman gives his Singapore cane to Eddie before they both celebrate in the ring. (During the break on Twitch, Eddie Edwards and The Sandman are seen celebrating in the crowd and drinking beer while "Enter Sandman" plays in the background and the crowd sings along.)

Rosemary is met by Father James Mitchell, who gives her a recap of everything that has happened to this point. He tells him that everything Allie did was on her own accord, but Rosemary tells Mitchell Allie came back in pieces and proposes doing the same to the Undead Maid of Honor. Mitchell says Allie did not have to die if Rosemary had not kept asking for more, kept coming back to the undead realm and accepted Allie as she was, but Rosemary chokes Mitchell out and tells him Allie is dead because of him. She tells him that the Undead Maid of Honor is still hers and that he should leave while he still can.

The Impact Plus Moment of the Week is Raven vs. Rhino in a Raven's Rules Match at Unbreakable 2005.

We hear from Sami Callihan, who says that oVe (Callihan, Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Madman Fulton) will end Fallah Bahh and "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux before saying that the Knockouts will never fill his shoes.

Next week: Fallah Bahh and "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux vs oVe (Jake and Dave Crist)! Rosemary vs. Taya Valkyrie for the Impact Knockouts Championship! The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) vs. The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) for the Impact Tag Team Championships!

Rich Swann and Willie Mack beat "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin and Johnny Impact after Swann pushes Johnny into Elgin as Elgin goes for an Elgin Bomb on Willie Mack, which leads to Elgin getting angry at Johnny Impact and walking off.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
