Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for December 3, 2019

Backstage, Michael Elgin says he is not beating himself up over his loss last week, but he will be beating someone else up over it.

Eddie Edwards vs. "The Machine" Brian Cage ends with Michael Elgin showing up and attacking both men. Two more referees step in to stop Elgin, then it is announced that the match is now a three-way match.

At the treehouse, Trey Miguel is irritated with Ace Austin's comments about his mom from last week. Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz act awkward, then Trey's mom shows up. Trey asks his mom not to be at ringside, but Trey's mom thinks Trey is embarrassed of her. Trey relents, then Trey's mom leaves after announcing she is making Trey's favorite dinner: meatloaf. Zachary Wentz is ecstatic about the meatloaf.

We hear from Moose, who says he came up short two weeks ago, but that is okay, as all great men have their failures. He then enters a basketball court and steals a basketball from two other guys who know what he did on the tennis court recently, then wagers a whole round of beers on a free throw. He hits the shot, then beats the two guys up. Moose then says he should play basketball more often, then it is revealed one of the two guys Moose beat up is caught on the basketball hoop.

Josh Mathews announces that a portion of the proceeds from tonight's show will go to help replacing ODB's recently burned-down food truck, then ODB appears on Impact for the first time in about five years. ODB announces that it is good to be home, then talks about her food truck business from the last three years and how her food truck burned down. She then says she has an awesome wrestling family in Impact, then Taya Valkyrie and John E. Bravo show up. Taya lists off ODB's accomplishments, then says she is the greatest Knockouts Champion of all time and that this is her show, then says she spends more on spilled mimosas in a year than ODB spends on barbecue sauce. Taya then says she will donate to ODB's Indiegogo campaign so she can get a fire extinguisher the next time her food truck burns down like her wrestling career, then tells her to get out of the ring. ODB responds by beating Taya up.

Tay Valkyrie vs. ODB is official for later tonight.

We see a press conference for Tessa Blanchard vs. Sami Callihan for the Impact World Championship at Hard To Kill.

Ace Austin and Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend) beat The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz) after Trey attacks Ace Austin for talking to Trey's mom in the front row.

Backstage, Jordynne Grace talks with ODB, who tells Jordynne that she will kick Taya Valkyrie's tonight, then Jordynne donates to ODB's food truck campaign.

Backstage, Johnny Swinger meets with Joey Ryan, saying that today's wrestlers like Ken Shamrock and Petey Williams are killing the business as Ryan checks his phone. Swinger proposes an alliance, and asks Ryan to interfere in his match with Petey Williams. Ryan says he likes the idea, then goes back to checking his phone after Swinger leaves.

Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes show up. Forbes introduces RVD, then RVD says he is big all over the world and obligated to explain his recent actions, but says there is no way anybody could understand unless everybody everywhere is trying to be them, which nobody understands. He says that while looking up to be him is one thing, trying to be him is another, and says he is expected to raise the bar as if he hasn't done enough for the business. Suddenly, Tommy Dreamer shows up. Dreamer wants to know what happened between RVD and Rhino, then proposes that RVD and Rhino have a match with him as special guest referee. RVD tells Dreamer he is living in the past, clinging onto him and holding him back. RVD says he has his own things to take care, then passes on the match between RVD and Rhino. As he and Katie leave however, Rhino shows up and brawls with RVD. Security quickly moves into place to separate both men.

Backstage, Rich Swann is congratulated for his efforts two weeks ago in the back. Swann tells Willie Mack they should focus on the tag team titles again, then The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) show up. They mockingly congratulate Swann on his efforts from two weeks ago, but Swann says they need some action lessons and that he and Willie Mack will win the tag team open and beat them for the tag team titles.

Backstage, Fallah Bahh simply says "Bahh" when he will fight back against The Desi Hit Squad after being outnumbered, then says that he is still here and that he will fight back as long as he is still here.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is ODB vs. Mickie James for the TNA Knockouts Championship.

Backstage, Father James Mitchell introduces Suzy to Havok, and asks her to respect Havok's personal space so the three of them can be the best of friends.

Petey Williams beats Johnny Swinger with the Sharpshooter after Joey Ryan fails to show up when Swinger calls for him.

ODB beats Taya Valkyrie after Jordynne Grace takes the Impact Knockouts Championship away from John E. Bravo, distracting Taya so that ODB can win with a schoolkid pin.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
