Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for December 12, 2019

Kay Lee Ray beats Isla Dawn.

After the match, Kay Lee Ray says she has once again proved how dominant she is, and that she has proved herself against Toni Storm and has Piper Niven rattled and scared. Suddenly, Piper Niven shows up. Before Piper Niven does much, Toni Storm runs out and attacks Kay Lee Ray and knocks Piper down on the apron. Piper and Toni then argue in the middle of the ring while Kay Lee Ray leaves, then Assistant Sid Scala shows up. Scala says there is one logical solution to this: at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II, Kay Lee Ray will defend the NXT UK Women's Championship against both Toni and Piper in a Triple Threat Match.

We hear from Jordan Devlin. This time, he plays a video slideshow of the rest of the roster, but it is just his way of tooting his own horn while mocking Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven). He says that this is what happens when you put your faith in Tyler Bate, for Bate has everyone fooled into thinking he is the star while he is "The One True Ace."

In footage from earlier this week, Joe Coffey says that the WWE United Kingdom Championship is the biggest score NXT UK has to offer and the biggest man holding it in Walter. He remembers the big boot that Walter gave him almost a year ago, and that Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) has not taken too kindly to it. Coffey says that this time around, he will leave his mark on Walter and Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel, Alexander Wolfe) and take the UK title.

Eddie Dennis assaults Michael May before the next match can begin, then tosses May back into the ring. Trent Seven checks on May as Dennis leaves through the crowd.

Backstage, Radzi interviews Noam Dar, who says that he states facts and not makes claims, then has Radzi follow him to General Manager Johnny Saint's office, where he tells Saint and Assistant Sid Scala that he will take a break until he gets a match at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II. Scala tells him that his contract is not what he thinks it is, and tells him that next week, he will be facing Tyler Bate. Noam Dar walks off in a huff.

Ridge Holland beats Jack Starz.

In footage from earlier this week, Kenny Williams is met by Amir Jordan in the UK Performance Center. Amir announces that he is 100% after six months and that they are tagging up again next week. When Amir says they are dancing again, Kenny tells him he is relentless.

Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel) vs. Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships ends in a no-contest. During the match, Grizzled Young Veterans show up and steal the NXT UK Tag Team Championships, but they are confronted by Mark Andrews and "Flash" Morgan Webster, who brawl with them in the ring. After the match, all four teams brawl with one another, then General Manager Johnny Saint and Assistant Sid Scala show up and declare that the tag titles will not be disrespected any longer and that they will be suspended above the ring at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II. Saint and Scala put all four teams in a four-way ladder match for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II.
