Generation NXT - NXT recap for December 18, 2019

Adam Cole retains the NXT Championship against Finn Balor following the sudden appearance and distraction to Finn Balor from Johnny Gargano. After the match, Gargano takes a steel chair from the front row and smacks Finn Balor with it. Finn Balor is forced to retreat through the crowd.



Damian Priest beats Killian Dain.



The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will return next year, with teams being announced on the January 1st episode.

Cameron Grimes beats KUSHIDA, then gets his hat back.



We see a video package for Io Shirai, who is in action next.

Io Shirai beats Santana Garrett.



Worlds Collide returns on January 25th!

Pete Dunne beats "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks.



Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Dakota Kai, who says that she won last week despite being put through two tables and that she will continue to win until she is NXT Women's Champion.
