In footage from last week, Fabian Aichner and Marcel Bartel are interviewed. Aichner says he had Barthel had Gallus opponents beat, and that it is a disgrace they have to prove themselves in a ladder match. Barthel agrees, then says that if they have to go through a Ladder Match to become NXT UK Tag Team Champions, so be it.
We hear from Ligero, who talks about the first time he had met Kassius Ohno in 2003, when he offered advice to him. He has had nothing but respect for him and has wanted nothing more than to step in the ring with him. Earlier this year, Kassius Ohno beat him by turning his mask around and hitting him in the head. He says that Kassius has no respect for him, and next week, they will step into the ring again and he will beat respect into Kassius Ohno.
Trent Seven shows up. He says he has been in the business for quite some time now, but he thinks he has had a pretty good grasp on how things work, and that he knows that Eddie Dennis wants his attention. Trent says he knows Dennis and has cheered for him in the crowd, but when Dennis grabbed his hand from the crowd and Trent looked at him, Trent did not see the Eddie Dennis he once knew. When Michael May made his NXT UK debut last week, Eddie Dennis took his opportunity away from him. Trent then calls Dennis out so they can sort things out, and Eddie Dennis shows up. Trent asks Dennis what he is doing, as Dennis quit his job as a schoolteacher to become a WWE Superstar and made it into NXT UK, and that he knows the opportunity was taken away from him following an injury that took him out for eight months. Trent says he knows why Eddie Dennis is targeting him, and says that he is proud to have been in NXT UK from the start and build the brand, and as Trent talks about how proud he is to have built up NXT UK along with the fans like he has, Dennis hits him with a microphone and tells him he will see him at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II.
We see a video package for Toni Storm vs. Piper Niven vs. Kay Lee Ray for the NXT UK Women's Championship at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II.
Next week: the best of NXT UK from 2019!
Jinny beats Amale. After the match, Jazzy Gabert clotheslines Amale not once, but twice, at Jinny's command. When Jinny tells her to do it a third time, however, Jazzy puts Amale down and walks away.
Backtage, Radzi interviews Walter. Walter says he does not want to talk about Joe Coffey, for in two weeks' time, Alexander Wolfe will destroy Ilya Dragunov, and then, Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel, Wolfe) will have the tactical advantage going into NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II.
In two weeks: Alexander Wolfe vs. Ilya Dragunov in a no-disqualification match!
Tyler Bate beats Noam Dar. During the match, Jordan Devlin shows up, which distracts Tyler Bate and nearly costs him the match. Tyler Bate is able to hit the Tyler Driver '97 to win the match, then manages to outsmart Jordan Devlin and force him to retreat when Devlin rushes into the ring immediately after Bate wins. Bate then challenges Devlin to a match at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II if Devlin wants him that badly.
