Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for December 18, 2019

The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix) beat "Hangman" Adam Page and Kenny Omega after Pentagon Jr. ducks a Buckshot Lariat and Omega gets nailed instead. During the match, Evil Uno appears on-screen briefly in the form of a transmission cut-off. After the match, Page and Omega have a brief shoving match, then PAC shows up on the video screen saying that he has not gotten an answer to his challenge before going into the locker room and attacking Michael Nakazawa. Omega leaves through the crowd to head to the back.

Darby Allin and "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beat The Butcher and The Blade.

We see a montage of Jungle Boy training for his match with Chris Jericho later tonight.

Awesome Kong quickly beats Miranda Alizee. After the match, Awesome Kong cuts a piece of Miranda's hair off and adds it to the hair trophy in Melanie Cruise's hand.

We see Jim Ross interview Jungle Boy. Jungle Boy thinks of Chris Jericho in two forms: "the man" and "the legend." He says that Chris Jericho the man does not scare him; however, he has a lot of respect for Chris Jericho the legend and what he has done in the industry. He says that he is very aware of the pressure and the gravity of the situation, but pressure makes greatness and he is ready to tackle the situation head-on. He says that his late father Luke Perry would be very proud of him, as they have had many talks about his wrestling career and he knows that his father would be very happy about it.

Chris Jericho vs. Jungle Boy ends in a ten-minutes time limit draw. During the match, it is announced that Dynamite will be back in two weeks due to the Christmas holiday. After the match, a livid Jericho demands five more minutes from ring announcer Justin Roberts, and the bell is rung for another five-minute match. It is not long before Chris Jericho leaves with the AEW World Championship.

Tony Schiavone interviews Chris Jericho on the stage. Jericho says that Jungle Boy could not beat him, but Schiavone reminds him that he told Jungle Boy he could not last ten minutes, much less win, and Jericho takes the microphone away from Schiavone and says that Jungle Boy will get his before addressing whether or not Jon Moxley will join The Inner Circle. Jericho says he knows what the answer is and that The Inner Circle has a lot of surprises for Moxley when he joins them. He says there will be no episode of Dynamite next week due to it being Christmas, but that the week after, The Inner Circle will have a great big surprise for Moxley when he joins The Inner Circle.

Backstage, Jenn Decker interviews SoCal Uncensored ("The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky). Daniels says that The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) may be the tag team of the decade, but they are the tag team of the moments. The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix) show up and say that Daniels "doesn't have it anymore," and when Daniels confronts them, he looks at Pentagon Jr., then walks away.

Kris Statlander beast Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. During the match "joindarkorder.com" and "#JoinDarkOrder" are briefly seen at the bottom of the screen. Riho is seen in the front row. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews Statlander, but Brandi Rhodes shows up to congratulate Statlander before asking if she is with The Nightmare Collective (Brandi, Awesome Kong< Melanie Cruise) or not. Statlander wags her finger in front of Brandi's face before coming face-to-face with Melanie Cruise and Awesome Kong. Statlander is then hit in the eye with one of her high heels, and Sadie Gibbs shows up with two referees as The Nightmare Collective leave.

We hear from Shawn Spears, who says that life hinges on a moment and that the moment is now due to tag team wrestling mattering in All Elite Wrestling. However, Shawn Spears is missing a tag team partner, and Tully Blanchard says they need a good partner who is impressionable and is able to connect on a mental level.

SoCal Uncensored (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson). After the match, the Creepers show up and surround the ring, then the lights go out. The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) show up and congratulate SoCal Uncensored on their victory, then tell The Young Bucks that they have suffered a hard loss. Stu Grayson then stays tonight is not a recruitment night after stating that they would have asked The Young Bucks to join on any other night, and says that tonight is an initiation. The Creepers then attack SoCal Uncensored and The Young Bucks. Alex Reynolds and John Silver are the only two Creepers who are unmasked as the Creepers attack both teams in the previous match, and even with "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels helping them out, they are still overpowered by the Creepers. Kenny Omega tries to make the save, but he too is overwhelmed, as "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes have to jump in, but they too are overwhelmed. Alex Reynolds and John Silver are handed masks as Evil Uno states that The Dark Order will never be doubted again.
