Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 25, 2019

It is announced that Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch vs. "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey for the WWE Raw Women's Championship will headline the main event for WrestleMania 35.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey shows up to start tonight's show. As the crowd chants "We want Becky!", Rousey says that women will be the WrestleMania event for the first time in history with the Raw Women's title match, and she has only one thing to say: "You're welcome." She drops the microphone, then picks it back up and promises to tap Charlotte and Becky out at he same time at WrestleMania. She drops the microphone again, then picks it back up again to say she has no idea what a Beat The Clock Challenge is and that it is time to get it over with. The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan) shows up, then Becky Lynch arrives. Becky tells Ronda to stop acting like "a little weirdo," as Ronda come out with a big money contract and nobody cared about her until she came around. She boasts that she is the best thing to ever happen to Ronda, as she made her better, and says it will end with the title in her hand and Ronda's skull beneath her foot. Charlotte Flair then shows up, and proclaims that the women are the WrestleMania main event because of what's she done, not Ronda or Becky.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey beats Sarah Logan with an arm bar in 1:25 (one minute, twenty-five seconds) in a Beat The Clock Challenge.

Charlotte Flair fails to beat the clock in the Beat The Clock Challenge against Ruby Riott. When Becky Lynch gets in the ring, Charlotte Flair hits her with a big boot.

Becky Lynch beats Liv Morgan with a jackknife pin in a Beat The Clock Challenge with seven seconds left.

Before the next match, Lio Rush says he and Bobby Lashley are a roadblock in his road to WrestleMania, and they will leave him beaten and broken like Rob Gronkowski. Lio also announces that he is not medically cleared tonight, and Jinder Mahal will be teaming with Lashley instead.

Finn Balor beats Bobby Lashley and Jinder Mahal in a 2-on-1 handicap match to earn a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 35. After the match, Lashley takes his anger out on both Mahal and The Singh Brothers (Samir and Sunil Singh).

We see a vignette of Elias playing in the middle of Times Square, who says it is nothing compared to his performance at WrestleMania. Before he plays, he is outplayed - and outsung - by another street musician that Elias shoos away.

Aleister Black and Ricochet beat The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder). After the match, Scott Dawson demands that ring announcer Mike Rome announce that The Revival are still the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.

Drew McIntyre shows up. McIntyre states he does not care if the fans like him, and that they will respect him. He says one week is a long time to wait for an answer from Roman Reigns, and we get a video replay of what he did to Roman two weeks ago, saying he could have finished him off if he wanted. We also see a replay of McIntyre's challenge to Roman Reigns from last week. Afterwards, McIntyre hopes that Roman's family convinced Roman to say no to his challenge, as he has already beaten Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. McIntyre says he known that Roman want to take his challenge, but tells Roman to think about his family, as he has put them through enough and his children had to "watch Daddy fight for his life already." He asks if Roman wants to do that one more time at WrestleMania if he knows he is going to lose, and promises to hold the show hostage until he gets an answer. As he makes that promise, Roman shows up. Roman tells McIntyre that "Roman accepts [his] challenge," then tells him - as Joe Anoa'i - not to run his mouth about his wife and kids before going to town on McIntyre. This ends with McIntyre nailing Roman with a low blow, which allows McIntyre to hit the Claymore Kick.

Backstage, Drew McIntyre is met by Dean Ambrose, who takes offense to being called "a cockroach" that McIntyre "exterminated," says he doesn't feel exterminated, and dares him to give it one more try in a Last Man Standing Match. McIntyre promises Ambrose won't be standing after tonight.

Sasha Banks vs. Natalya ends when Nia Jax and Tamina attack both women. "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix gets in the ring and fights off both Nia and Tamina, and Tamina falls victim to a Glam Slam.

It is announced that The Hart Foundation - Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart - are inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2019. With this, Bret becomes a two-time inductee.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Kurt Angle. Angle appreciates Samoa Joe coming from SmackDown Live to face him, and says that his farewell tour isn't hugs and handshakes. He calls Joe "the true test." Baron Corbin shows up, makes fun of Angle's age and says the crowd only feels sorry for him and that he should have retired ten years ago. He states that he will disgrace Angle in his last match, but Angle simply tells Corbin "Screw you."

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Sasha Banks and Bayley. Sasha says she and Bayley would take on anybody, anywhere at anytime, and if people want to go at it with them, they will do it at WrestleMania.

It's time for A Moment Of Bliss. Alexa Bliss says she is at a crossroads, and while she is the host of WrestleMania, she feels her reputation is in jeopardy due to what is going between Colin Jost and Braun Strowman. Alexa brings out Strowman, and reminds Strowman of what he has done when his temper has gotten the better of him before asking what would happen if Colin Jost and Michael Che were to "get these hands." Strowman says that when he saw the car that Jost gifted him, all he thought about was smashing Jost's "pasty" face. Colin Jost and Michael Che are then introduced live via satellite on the TitanTron. Jost says he has learned his lesson, and says that instead of wearing a New York Mets hat, he will wear a New York Yankees hat. Michael says he respects Strowman, but says Strowman crossed a line by getting physical with Jost. Jost says he was being sincere when he put in his Twitter bio that he wanted to be Strowman's mentor, and says there are a few things he can teach a monster like Strowman, like chewing food and doing taxes. Jost then makes fun of Strowman's size before asking if they can handle this like adults, and asks if Strowman has ever considered therapy before asking Strowman to pay him back the value of the car - plus interest - and get him Brock Lesnar's autograph. Jost then makes fun of Strowman's size before asking if they can handle this like adults, and asks if Strowman has ever considered therapy before asking Strowman to pay him back the value of the car - plus interest - and get him Brock Lesnar's autograph. Michael Che accepts on Jost's behalf, saying the chances of something bad happening to Jost will be slightly less. Jost, not wanting to be thrown under the bus, says that Michael Che will be in the battle royal with him too. Strowman asks Alexa Bliss to make it official, and after Alexa initially says she doesn't want to sacrifice two great talents, she makes it official.

We hear from Elias in New York City again, and this time, Elias is in front of Madison Square Garden. After making fun of the Boston Garden, Elias claims he has sold out Madison Square Garden three time already, then someone puts a quarter in his coffee cup. Elias takes offense to the quarter, saying people would pay him more to see him in New York City.

Baron Corbin beats Apollo Crews. After the match, Corbin hits Apollo Crews with End of Days a second time.

It is announced that Becky Lynch, "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair will be on ESPN's SportsCenter tomorrow morning at 7:45 AM Eastern.

Next week: Becky Lynch, "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair vs. The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan)!

Seth Rollins shows up. Rollins says he and Brock Lesnar are not cut from the same cloth, and the two roads they are taking to WrestleMania could not be any different. However, there is only one road out, and it will be forged by whoever is WWE Universal Champion after their match. He admits this is a heavy burden, but he wants to carry that burden so he can become a champion who inspires people. He claims that Lesnar does not inspire people and that this match is the biggest of his career, but he did not realize until now how big it was to the fans. During a recent autograph session, every fan asked him to beat Brock Lesnar before they left the autograph table, and now he feels he has no choice but to beat Lesnar as he refuses to let Lesnar be the champion who defines the future of the industry. At WrestleMania, he will get in the ring with Lesnar with an army behind him that will make him unstoppable, and he and the fans will march through the gates of Suplex City and burn it down. Before Rollins can finish his sentence, Paul Heyman shows up and thanks Rollins for letting him know that the match at WrestleMania is now a handicap match. Heyman says he likes the odds, as the odds of Rollins winning are zero and that he is leaning on the fans for "thoughts and prayers" as the fans fail with him. He also says Rollins needs thoughts and prayers as Rollins does not have a thought in his head and not a prayer in doing so, and tells Rollins to take it personally when he and the fans lose at WrestleMania. Rollins chases Heyman up the ramp, and Heyman rolls on the stage before begging for mercy. Rollins tells Heyman he's not here to ask for prayers; instead, he's here to answer them when he takes the Universal title.

Before the next match, Samoa Joe asks Kurt Angle to forgive him, as he has forgotten his bouquet of flowers and he is not a sentimental person. He then says it will be a cold day on the wrong side of the aftermath before he lets him ride off into the sunset. He says that everyone is getting ready for WrestleMania, and he plans to do just that by putting Angle to sleep one last time.

Kurt Angle beats Samoa Joe after pinning Joe to the match by rolling to the side in order to counter the Coaquina Clutch.

We see behind-the-scenes footage Big Show on the newest episode of Happy!, which premieres this Wednesday night at 10 PM Eastern/9 PM Central on SyFy.

WWE COO Triple H shows up. He congratulates Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey on being the main event of this year's WrestleMania, as well as every woman who has stepped through the ropes of a WWE ring. He then pulls out a letter from Batista's lawyer, which states that Batista will not be competing at WrestleMania unless he agrees to one more stipulation. After making fun of Batista's belief that Evolution did nothing for his career and that he quit due to Triple H, he then reveals the stipulation after making a reference to The Spice Girls' "Wannabe": if Batista wins, Triple H can never compete in a WWE ring again. Triple H vows to make sure Batista stands up to his commitment and make him show up, and says the only obsession he has regarding Batista is kicking his ass. He also says that if he cannot beat Batista, he has no business being in the ring anyway. Triple H then tells Batista that if he wants his career on the line, he's got it.

We hear from Elias, who is now standing next to an open guitar case full of dollar bills. Some guy walks up and steals some of the money, but Elias says he will make a lot more money at WrestleMania, where WWE will definitely stand for "Walk With Elias." The guy who stole some of Elias' money then comes back and steals the guitar case as Elias plays his guitar.

We look back on Kane hitting Pete Rose with a Tombstone Piledriver at WrestleMania 14, courtesy of Snickers.

Next week: Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio! Brock Lesnar live!

Drew McIntyre beats Dean Ambrose in a Last Man Standing Match.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 25, 2019

The cold open starts with Roman Reigns' announcement from October that his leukemia has returned.

Roman Reigns shows up for the first time since October to start tonight's show. Instead of the usual boos and jeers, however, Roman Reigns is received with a standing ovation. Roman Reigns gives high-fives to everyone in the front row. Afterwards, Roman enters the ring. The crowd chants "Welcome back!," then Roman thanks the fans. Roman admits that he has missed the fans, as there is no other job or fanbase like the WWE. The crowd responds by chanting "This is your yard!" Roman says this used to be his yard, but now "this is our yard." He says he is a man of faith and always believed in God and that God has looked out for him, but before his October announcement, he was scared, insecure and had no idea if he wanted to make the announcement. Roman admits he had no idea how the fans would react, and by the time he got home, the outreach was enormous. He says the amount of thoughts, blessings and prayers has been overwhelming, and he thanks the fans for that. It was not just WWE fans, but everyone who was sending love and support, and says that it was so big "God's inbox was full." He says he can do anything with the amount of support and love everyone has given him. He says that the support gave him new life and new purpose beyond leaving his mark in WWE, and says he wants to raise awareness to those in need just like he was. He then thanks the crowd once again for all their support.

Aleister Black and Ricochet beat The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder).

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Baron Corbin, who initally denies saying anything insulting about Roman Reigns and his battle with leukemia, then blames his stress at the time for his comments and says nobody can understand what he was going through. After being questioned He hopes that his and Roman's paths do not cross, for Roman's sake.

Celebrities send birthday well-wishes to "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

Elias is in the ring. He is interrupted by Lacey Evans walking down and then up the ramp before he can say absolutely anything. Elias tries to say something again, but he is interrupted by Dean Ambrose. Ambrose says all the celebration has got him in a festive mood, and tonight, he feels good and positivity is running through his veins. He wants a rematch with Drew McIntyre, and he wants it to be a no-disqualification match. Elias then plays his guitar, and says he should be on his second standing ovation by now before passive-aggressively mocking Atlanta, Georgia. Ambrose asks Elias about what he knows on guitar, then Elias goes for a cheap guitar shot before getting hit with Dirty Deeds.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and Natalya vs. The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan) ends with Becky Lynch showing up, attacking a security guard and then attacking Natalya. Security, officials and referees all have to keep Ronda and Becky apart as Ronda gets some hits in on Becky, and police eventually show up and arrest Becky while officials have to keep Ronda away from Becky, who is handcuffed as she is taken to the back.

After the commercial break, officials help Natalya and "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey to the back, but Ronda returns to the ring and calls out WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, saying it is time to end it between herself and Becky. Stephanie McMahon shows up, and "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey demands that Becky Lynch be reinstated. Stephanie says that Becky has been arrested and charged, and while Ronda wants the charges dropped, Stephanie says it is not that simple. Stephanie says that Becky is unprofessional and that she is a victim of her own actions, but Ronda tells her that a reinstated Becky is what she, the fans and the "ginger douche in cuffs" wants. She also asks Stephanie to think about what this would mean for her three daughters, but Stephanie says it is "a hard no." Stephanie tries to leave, but Ronda gets in her way and demands that Becky be reinstated. Stephanie goes on to say that Becky and Ronda are disrespectful and cut from the same cloth, but Ronda says she has bled enough to be set for life after the UFC, and says that if Vince makes the tough decisions, then it is time to make the right decision. Ronda then leaves the WWE Raw Women's Championship, which she says has been made into a gaudy accessory that has been made to be defended against "the chosen," on the canvas of the ring before storming off to the back.

Jinder Mahal is in the ring with The Singh Brothers (Samir and Sunil Singh). Jinder asks what "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair has ever accomplished, and says that he was not invited to Flair's birthday party and that you cannot have a celebration without him. He announces that he has challenged any wrestler who has been invited to the party, saying that the party is officially over. The challenge is answered by Kurt Angle.

Kurt Angle beats Jinder Mahal with the ankle lock. After the match, The Singh Brothers (Samir and Sunil Singh) - who were knocked off the ring apron near the end of the match - get German Suplexed.

It is announced that Nikki Bella has won the Women's Image Award for Best Actress in a Reality Series for Total Bellas.

It's time for A Moment Of Bliss. Tonight's special guest is Finn Balor. She tells "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey not to let the door hit her on the way out and says she would not disrespect a women's title like Ronda did. After saying that she is waiting in the wings in case the McMahon family need her for a WrestleMania match, Alexa introduces Finn Balor. As Alexa tries to get Finn Balor to show off his abs, Lio Rush shows up and says the whole talk show is a sham and that Bobby Lashley deserves to be Intercontinental Champion, not Balor. Finn says that Bobby Lashley knows where to find him if he wants a title rematch, but Lio Rush says he will get Lashley - who is preparing for Braun Strowman - his rematch even if he has to pry the title from Finn Balor himself. Finn takes that as Lio Rush challenging him for the Intercontinental Championship, and while Lio tries to backpedal, Finn says that should happen tonight and Alexa questions if Lio Rush thinks he isn't man enough to get the job done. Lio Rush reluctantly accepts the challenge and says he will go to the back to prepare, but Alexa says the match is right now. Lio Rush then asks for a proper entrance, but Finn's music plays before Lio can get in the ring.

Despite hurting one of his knees during the match, Finn Balor retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Lio Rush.

Backstage, Tucker is met by The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor), who proceed to mock Otis. Tucker warns them that Otis has a nasty temper and does not like being made fun of. Otis shows up, Tucker tells him what The Ascension said, and Otis blows The Ascension away.

Before the next match, Bobby Lashley chews out Lio Rush, then asks Lio he can trust him before they head out to the ring.

Bobby Lashley vs. Braun Strowman ends before it can begin after Strowman decimates both Lashley and Lio Rush before the bell can ring.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Seth Rollins, who says that tonight is a great night and that he is walking out of WrestleMania as Universal Champion. However, all that is secondary tonight, as Roman Reigns is back and tonight is all about love and celebration.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is seen coming out of a limousine backstage.

WWE looks back on the final hours of Martin Luther King Jr.'s final hours as part of Black History Month.

Drew McIntyre beats Dean Ambrose in a no-disqualification match after Elias shows up and hits Ambrose in the back with his guitar. After the match, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley show up, then they and Elias team up with McIntyre and take the boots to Ambrose before having their way with him. Suddenly, Seth Rollins shows up with a steel chair, and Roman Reigns tags along. Roman and Rollins then lay waste to Corbin, Lashley, Elias and McIntyre.

Bayley beats Nia Jax after Bayley kicks Nia's hand off of Sasha Banks and Sasha sends Tamina into the guardrail. Before the match, it is announced that Bayley and Sasha Banks will defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against Nia Jax and Tamina at Fastlane.

The WWE Superstars are on the stage as WWE COO Triple H and Stephanie McMahon show up. Triple H says that with Mondays being as hectic as they usually are, tonight was definitely one hectic night, but none of tonight's happening pale in comparison to "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's 70th birthday celebration. Stephanie introduces "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Kurt Angle and Sting as special invited guests. Triple H says a lot of good things have been said about Ric Flair and that there is not much more to add, then a video package of Ric Flair's career and his influence transcending wrestling is played. After a specially-made World Heavyweight Championship with special side plates commemorating all of Flair's reigns with the title is unveiled, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is introduced, but fails to show. Suddenly, someone is seen dragging a cameraman to Ric Flair's locker room, then pulling a laid-out Flair out of the room. That person is none other than Batista, who asks Triple H if he has his attention. Triple H runs to the back and finds Ric Flair, and medical attention is called for Flair to end the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 11, 2019

WWE COO Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are in the ring to start tonight's show. The Elimination Chamber matches for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships and the WWE Championships are brought up, as well as "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey's WWE Raw Women's Championship defense against Ruby Riott at Elimination Chamber. After a video recap of Becky Lynch's actions from last week, Stephanie McMahon says WWE will do what is best for business and give the fans what he wants, and as she mentions that Becky Lynch has seen the doctors, Becky Lynch shows up. After some Becky Lynch banter, Triple H apologizes for crossing the line when he accused her of manufacturing an injury, and mentions that the WWE doctors have mentioned that her knee is fine and she will be cleared after some rehab. Becky's suspension is lifted, and her WrestleMania match is still on. Stephanie mentions this could be the greatest match in WrestleMania history, but it will only happen if and only if she apologizes to them. Becky tells Stephanie and Triple H that she does not trust them or their family, and that the McMahons have screwed people over for decades. She says nobody will steal her moment, and she will fight for her moment or anything in general. Triple H tells her to calm down, but Becky tells Triple H to take his apology and shove it up his ass. Stephanie confronts Becky, but Triple H stops the intense verbal argument and tells Becky this is not the hill she wants to die on. He then asks her if she wants to fight at WrestleMania or throw her opportunity away, and gives her a choice between the two, telling her that she has until the end of the night to decide.

Nia Jax and Tamina beats Sasha Banks and Bayley and The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan) in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match after Nia Jax pins Bayley. As per pre-match stipulation, Sasha Banks and Bayley have to enter their Elimination Chamber match first. During the match, Ruby Riott injures Sasha Banks after shoving her into the barricade, causing Sasha Banks to be helped to the back by medical staff.

Elias is in the ring. He is about to perform when Becky Lynch is seen on the TitanTron. Finn Balor tells her he knows a bit about pride, and tells her not to let get pride get the better of her. We then see a video package for Seth Rollins after Elias plays his guitar again. After Elias is introduced a third time, he is interrupted by The Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado). After the commercial break, Elias becomes furious with The Lucha House Party, saying he is the biggest musical act on the face of the planet and that the only thing worse than being constantly interrupted is not being nominated for a Grammy. Kalisto says that The Lucha House Party loves to entertain the fans, but tonight, they are walking with Elias. Elias performs the song that he has written for tonight, where he makes fun of Grand Rapids, South Dakota. After Elias asks The Lucha House Party what they think, The Lucha House party agree with the audience when they say Elias sucks, then Elias says there is nobody like him and asks if any of them can do better. Kalisto takes the challenge, and Elias hands him the guitar. Kalisto plays a few notes, and Elias is impressed to the point that he proposes they do a duet. It soon becomes a front for Elias to hit Kalisto in the back with his other guitar and run all the way to the stage. Afterwards, Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush show up to watch the next match from ringside.

We hear from Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, who say that they have been in plenty of first and that it makes sense that they become the first Women's Tag champions after having been through so much together.

After the match, Lashley continues to attack Finn Balor with the help of Drew McIntyre, who is about to bring some steel steps into the equation when Kurt Angle runs in to fight McIntyre and Lashley. Angle manages to fend them both off and lock Lio Rush in an ankle lock, but he is soon attacked from behind by Baron Corbin. As McIntyre, Corbin and Lashley gang up on Angle, Braun Strowman runs out and easily overpowers McIntyre and Lashley before getting in the ring with Corbin. Corbin and Strowman brawl, and McIntyre has to save Corbin from a running powerslam. Strowman stands tall in the ring with Angle and Finn Balor.

Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin beat Finn Balor, Kurt Angle and Braun Strowman...almost. Referee Chad Patton shows up afterwards and tells referee John Cone that Finn Balor's foot was on the bottom rope, and the match is restarted. Finn Balor, Kurt Angle and Braun Strowman get the win with Strowman hitting Lashley with a running powerslam followed by Finn Balor hitting Lashley with the Coup De Grace.

We hear from Kevin Owens at a bowling alley, who says he has been spending time with family before getting back on the road. He has also been paying attention to Raw, and says it is very tough to watch other people do what he does best. He announces that he will return in one more month, then bowls a gutter ball.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Becky Lynch, who says "It's none of your damn business" when asked what she will have to tell the fans if she throws her WrestleMania opportunity away.

Ruby Riott beats Nikki Cross. Backstage during the match, "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey asks Becky Lynch what is more important: their match, or stroking her ego. She then tells Becky to apologize even if she doesn't mean it, or else she will prove she is too much of a coward to face her at WrestleMania.

We get a closer look at Rey Mysterio, courtesy of Golden Corral.

Seth Rollins shows up. He says that the last twelve months have been quite a ride, and that he has been glad to share it with the fans, as he has finally started to feel like himself and ride the momentum all the way to Royal Rumble. After winning the men's Royal Rumble match, however, the bottom dropped out thanks to Brock Lesnar and six F-5's, and while he is in pain, he is still here. If he can still stand, he can fight; if he can still fight, he can stomp; if he can stomp, he can beat Brock Lesnar. Suddenly, Paul Heyman shows up. Heyman announces that while Lesnar is not here tonight, he is educated the masses and to educate Rollins, claiming that not all men are created equal and that while Rollins is a great athlete, Lesnar is a beast and a career killer. He warns Rollins that if he enters WrestleMania with the mindset that it might be his last match, he will be on a suicide mission and become the architect of his own demise. Rollins tells Heyman he is right, but that he does not seem to understand that he doesn't care. He says that Lesnar has held the business hostage for two long years and he will not stand for it anymore. He says that he does not care if WrestleMania is a suicide mission, for he will become a martyr, sacrifice himself and burn in Hell if Lesnar leaves Universal Champion, and tells him that this is not a prediction; it is a spoiler. After Heyman leaves, Dean Ambrose shows up. Rollins hands him the microphone, and Ambrose simply tells Rollins "Slay The Beast." He then leaves and sits down near the timekeeper's area.

We hear from The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce), who say that the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships would be full circle after everything they have done together.

Dean Ambrose beats EC3 with an inside cradle.

Backstage, Becky Lynch is met by Alexa Bliss, who tells Becky that if she apologizes, she will show weakness. She admits the women's division looks up to her and wants to be more like her. Becky thinks this has everything to do with Alexa wanting her spot in WrestleMania, but Alexa wants her to be true to herself. Alexa sarcastically tells her to go ahead and apologize, saying she will sell out. Becky says that if she apologizes, the only thing she will sell out is WrestleMania.

The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) beat Bobby Roode and Chad Gable to become the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions! After the match, Charly Caruso interviews The Revival. They say that they are the best tag team on the planet and that nobody is as good as they are.

Becky Lynch shows up, followed by WWE COO Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon ask Becky what her choice is, and Triple H asks Becky to shut the fans out and to decide for herself. Becky feels Triple H and Stephanie McMahon don't want her nowhere near WrestleMania, and says she has received advice from others, but in the end, she apologizes. Becky then makes it clear that nobody will steal her moment from her. Triple H and Stephanie shake hands with Becky, who is surprised that this was all there is. Triple H and Stephanie leave, then Becky namedrops "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey. Ronda shows up and meets Becky Lynch in the ring. Before much can happen, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon shows up and while he agrees with Stephanie that Becky vs. Ronda could be a great match, Becky thinks she is bigger than WWE. He says that he does not like bad attitudes, and suspends Becky for sixty days, with the suspension ending five days after WrestleMania. Vince then replaces Becky with someone of that Vince says knows their lane and stays in it - Charlotte Flair, who shows up - then tells Ronda to get used to it and says that Charlotte Flair will become champion at WrestleMania to end the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 4, 2019

Stephanie McMahon welcomes everyone to tonight's show, then Becky Lynch shows up. Becky is seen sporting a brace on her left knee as she approaches the ring. After a replay of Becky's meeting with "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey from last week, Becky says she has a lot of reasons to be smiling after the past few weeks, then says she is fine when asked about the knee brace. Stephanie mentions that Becky has refused medical help since Royal Rumble, and Becky says that no doctors are coming near her. Stephanie admits Becky is tough, but she cannot let her physically compete if she is not cleared by medical staff. Becky tells Stephanie that she is the glitch in her plan and the one thing she didn't plan for, but here she is. She says that Stephanie knows nothing of struggle and is just another "daddy's girl" who is trying to stop her from fighting for everything. She says she rose up and earned her way, and nobody will stop her. Stephanie tells Becky that this can be a liability, and all she has to do is see the doctor to get cleared unless the knee is worse than she is letting on. She tells Becky that everyone wants to see her beat Ronda, but she has to get cleared. Becky tells Stephanie she will not take her moment from her, but Stephanie says she will suspended until she sees the doctor. Becky tells Stephanie she will not be responsible for what happens if she suspends her, but Stephanie suspends her anyway. This leads to Becky attacking Stephanie, but her knee gives out on the Dis-Arm-Her. Officials and security try to grab hold of Becky, but Becky manages to escape them and get after Stephanie again. This stops when Becky's knee gives out on her again.

Backstage, Becky Lynch is met by "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey, who tells her that she tests the limit of her professionalism every time they meet, and tells her that beating Stephanie McMahon up and getting suspended did nothing and was unprofessional. She tells her to rest up until WrestleMania, when she can finally take her beating. After that, Becky is escorted out of the arena.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey beats Liv Morgan with an arm bar. After the match, Ronda takes the microphone and asks who else has a problem with her. Sarah Logan gets in the ring with Ronda, starting another match.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey beats Sarah Logan with an arm bar. After the match, Ruby Riott gets on the apron, but soon backs off. Backstage, Dasha Fuentes interviews Ruby Riott, who says she did not run away and that she will beat Ronda Rousey. Right now, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan need her and there is a bond between The Riott Squad that Ronda knows nothing about, and Ronda can wait.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Sasha Banks and Bayley. Bayley says that all that matters is that they both pushed "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey to their limits individually, but tonight, they are the best and tonight is about teams. After Sasha Banks says that they will be making history again, Alicia Fox tells them that they won't make it, and Nikki Cross tells them that not only did Alicia Fox want to play, but that chaos is fair.

The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) beat The B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel), Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic) and The Lucha House Party (Kalisto and Gran Metalik) in a Four Corners Tag Team Match to earn a shot at the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships.

Backstage, Curt Hawkins tells Zack Ryder that they will not work out as a team, as he has lost 250 matches over more than two years, then Zack mentions his name being spelled on television with an H inadvertently last week. Zack says he is a loser just like Hawkins and cannot be brought any lower, but they were signed together and were tag team champions together, and he plans to end his losing streak together.

Kurt Angle shakes hands with Mickie James and Apollo Crews backstage on the way to the ring.

Kurt Angle shows up. He mentions the 3 I's, and says he has lived his life through them for the past 20 years and accomplished everything he ever wanted to accomplished, from the WWF European Championship to the WWE Hall of Fame. However, the 3 I's became the 3 D's - doubt, defeat and depression - and his last few matches have not went his way. He wanted to prove he still had it and shut the critics up for good. In his career, he beat them all and won the Olympics with a "broken freakin' neck." However, there is one opponent he cannot beat: Father Time. Suddenly, Baron Corbin shows up. He mocks Angle, saying that he is fishing for sympathy and that he brought it on himself, and that Angle is now a broken-down shadow of a man. Angle reminds Corbin he can break his ankle in two, and dares Corbin to come to the ring so he can show him. Suddenly, Drew McIntyre shows up. McIntyre tells Angle he just cannot help himself, as one minute he has accepted his fate and two minute later he threatens to break the ankle of the man who took his job and recently beat him last week. He says that people used to look in Angle's eyes and see a warrior, but in his recent match with him, all he saw was fear when he made him tap to his own ankle lock, and says that Angle will keep showing up until someone does something drastic. Drew tells the fans to get their cameras ready, for this is the last time Angle will be in a WWE ring when he and Corbin put him out for good. Corbin and McIntyre surround the ring, but Braun Strowman suddenly shows up. Strowman fights McIntyre on the outside while Angle gets the upper hand on Corbin in the ring. McIntyre then throws a chair at Corbin, and Corbin and McIntyre retreat through the crowd.

WWE celebrates Black History Month and looks back on WWE's tour of the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee from last year.

Braun Strowman and Kurt Angle vs. Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin is made official for later tonight.

We see a video package of Seth Rollins' road to WrestleMania thus far.

Before the next match, Alicia Fox and Nikki Cross drag Sasha Banks and Bayley onto the stage as they attack them. This quickly turns into a brawl between both teams on the stage which is stopped by referees.

Sasha Banks and Bayley beat Alicia Fox and Nikki Cross to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Apollo Crews, who says he is glad Kurt Angle is competing, despite the fact that he has not had a good couple of matches. Akam and Drake Maverick show up and say Angle has no chance, and Apollo acts like Maverick is Akam's puppet.

Before the next match, "Road Dogg" Jesse James shows up and introduces Jeff Jarrett, then they go back to where they left off from last week and sing "With My Baby Tonight."

Elias shows up and says that Jarrett and Road Dogg's song has not aged well, and says he would watch Adam Levine do another halftime performance than watch them. He says that he mistakenly turned down the Super Bowl halftime show to come to Portland, Oregon - which is not important enough to have its own football team - and says he has been reminded of how ungrateful the fans have become. He says he is not doing a show tonight in Portland, Oregon, and tells Jarrett and Road Dogg that their nostalgia act will not change the truth that WWE stands for "Walk With Elias." Jarrett then quotes Razor Ramon, telling him "Hey, chico...don't sing it, bring it."

Elias beats Jeff Jarrett. (The match is Jarrett's first match on Raw in almost 20 years.) After the match, "Road Dogg" Jesse James fights Elias and lands his trademark jabs, then Jarrett hits Elias in the back with a guitar.

Backstage, Natalya is met by Dana Brooke, who apologizes for last week only to get the silent treatment. She threatens to make a match against her for next week, then leaves. It is revealed that Natalya is not listening to her because she is wearing airpods.

In three weeks: "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's 70th birthday celebration!

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Finn Balor. He says the Irish are stubborn while wounded, and while he is hurt after what has gone on as of late, he is still standing and will not be pushed around or held down. He says he will take the fight to Bobby Lashley like he did Brock Lesnar, and at the first opportunity he gets, he will take the Intercontinental Championship, too.

Before the next match, Lio Rush says that Finn Balor looks like a mummy and has no chance against Bobby Lashley, saying this is "Mouse vs. Mack Truck," not David vs. Goliath. He says that Lashley can curl dumbbells heavier than Lashley. Lashley says that Finn couldn't beat Brock Lesnar, then says he is better than Lesnar and that he can beat him anywhere and that Finn Balor does not deserve to be in the ring with him. He tells Finn that he should fight people his own size, then tells him he will be facing Lio Rush, not him. Lashley then says that if Finn Balor entertains him enough, he may give him the title shot he wants. Lashley then suddenly hits Finn Balor with cheap shots before the bell rings.

Finn Balor beats Lio Rush. During the match, Lashley is ejected from ringside after getting involved one too many times. After the match, Finn Balor gets out of the ring when Lashley shows back up.

Paige shows up. She announces the theatrical release of her biographical film Fighting With My Family, then a trailer for the film is shown.

It's time for A Moment Of Bliss. Tonight's guest is EC3. Before EC3 can answer the quest of whether or not he will be on Raw or SmackDown Live, Nia Jax and Tamina interrupt, with Nia Jax saying that nobody cares. She says that nobody wants to see "this nauseating blind date thing" before talking about entering the men's Royal Rumble match and her and Tamina qualifying for their Elimination Chamber match. Nia says that this is her moment, and says that she might fill in for Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. Before she can say more, Dean Ambrose shows up. Ambrose says it is clear that Nia Jax has a huge crush on him, and tells her to stay away from him and never come near him again. EC3 is about so say something when Dean knocks the microphone out of his hands and refuses to let him speak when he answers question. When asked why he is being a mute Chippendale dancer and not getting in the ring, EC3 punches Dean Ambrose in the face.

EC3 beats Dean Ambrose in his Raw debut with a surprise jackknife pin.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Kurt Angle. He did not expect to compete tonight, but something inside told him to bring it. Thankfully, he is not in this alone. Braun Strowman shows up. He says Strowman has never met a port-a-potty, limousine, ambulance or disrespectful Superstar he didn't want to destroy, and is glad Strowman is on his side. Strowman says it is an honor, and tonight, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin will get these hands.

Backstage, we see Mojo Rawley talking to himself in a mirror again, saying that being a team player has not worked for him at all and that now, it is all about him.

Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin beat Kurt Angle and Braun Strowman by disqualification after striking Corbin while not the legal man. After the match, McIntyre and Corbin send Strowman over the barricade, then throw Angle into the steel steps. They are about to choke slam Angle into the steps when Strowman returns and does the same to Corbin and McIntyre.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for January 14, 2019

The show begins with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon coming out of limo. After asking his driver to wash something off near a rear headlight, he heads into the arena.

Braun Strowman shows up. He says that Brock Lesnar will never admit that he has been afraid of him, and that he looked over his shoulder whenever he had a Money In The Bank contract or a Universal Championship opportunity, and kept his title by any means necessary. He tells Lesnar that he is all healed up and that Baron Corbin is no longer in power, and that nobody will be able to save Lesnar from his biggest fear: Strowman taking the Universal Championship from him. Suddenly, Corbin shows up and says that while the people believe in Strowman, he keeps losing to Lesnar. He tells Strowman to give up while he wins the men's Royal Rumble match and goes on to a WrestleMania main event. Strowman chases Corbin to the back, and attacks Sunil Singh while looking for him. He then looks around for Corbin. Meanwhile, Elias is nearby playing a guitar and mocking Corbin through song. Strowman listens to Elias' song, and Elias tells Strowman that Corbin is hiding in a nearby limousine. He kicks a rear view mirror and tosses the driver out, then grabs a pipe and breaks the window. He rips the door out, then a scared Corbin runs out. Strowman tells him he had better run, then he runs into a shocked WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, who gets angry with him.

After the commercial break, Braun Strowman tries to fix the limousine door before WWE Chairman Vince McMahon chews him out, calling him "a danger zone" and telling him his destruction will cost him $100,000. Strowman tells him the limo isn't even worth $100,000, and Vince punishes him by taking him out of the Universal Championship match with Brock Lesnar. Strowman responds by toppling the limo after Vince walks away.

Backstage, police officers escort Braun Strowman out of the arena while Baron Corbin laughs.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and Sasha Banks beat Nia Jax and Tamina with a Banks Statement to Tamina. After the match, Charly Caruso interviews Ronda and Sasha. Ronda says that she and Sasha trusted each other because they respect each other. She says that beating Sasha will be a great accomplishment as a champion. Sasha takes offense to his, thinking that Ronda is saying she is the only person who can tap people out in the Women's Division. She says she will do it anytime and anywhere, and that she will teach Ronda to lose with class. Ronda tells Sasha to keep her title of "world's classiest loser," but Sasha tells Ronda she is not scared of her and to get used to not having her way when he makes her tap out and takes the Raw Women's title at Royal Rumble. When Sasha leaves, Ronda catches up with her and tries to explain herself, but Sasha has none of it. Ronda chases after her to the back.

Backstage, some Superstars are seen waiting in front of WWE Chairman's Vince McMahon's office when Jerry "The King" Lawler walks out. Suddenly, No Way Jose shows up with his conga line.

Backstage, Natalya and Bayley keep "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and Sasha Banks separate. When Ronda and Sasha leave, Bayley and Natalya argue over who started what when The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan) make fun of everyone not getting along while they stick together. Ruby says they like nothing more than taking a bad situation and making it worse, and challenge them to a six-woman tag team match, assuming they can find a partner.

Before the next match, Scott Dawson calls out The Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Lince Dorado, Gran Metalik) watched him and Dash Wilder get screwed last week, and Dash Wilder says they turned their backs on them. Dawson says there will be a price to pay after last week, and tonight, The Lucha House Party will pay up.

During the next match, Dasha Fuentes announces that the entire locker room wants to replace Braun Strowman in the Universal title match at Royal Rumble. Apollo Crews is interviewed, but he is interrupted by Curt Hawkins, who also wants a shot. EC3 is seen grinning, then The B-Team says the "B" stands for Brock Lesnar. They both leave when asked who will face Lesnar. Heath Slater says he doesn't want to face Lesnar, but Rhyno might.

The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) beat The Lucha House Party (Kalisto and Gran Metalik) after Dash Wilder pushes Gran Metalik's foot of the rope during a pinfall.

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon shows up. As soon as Vince McMahon can even speak, John Cena shows up out of nowhere. Cena says he knows what Vince is going to say and do, and that Vince is going to tell someone to step up. He says that while everyone left Vince high and dry, Vince turned to a crew of rejects and misfits and asks somebody to step up. Cena says he was the first to say he would not let him down if he gave him a chance. This led to more chances and missed birthdays and funerals to get to where he is, and he says that to step up is to make this your life. He asks for a chance, and he says he will not let Vince down. He says that he will walk into the men's Royal Rumble match, win the whole thing, and become a 17-time World Champion because he has something others don't: ruthless aggression. Suddenly, Drew McIntyre shows up telling Cena to stop what he is doing right now, and says he does not care for any of Cena's accomplishments before claiming Cena does not have ruthless aggression. He tells Vince that he is what ruthless aggression looks like, and tells Cena "Your time is up," before telling Vince "My time is now." He tells Cena he can leave like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock before him. Baron Corbin shows up, saying his life was threatened earlier tonight by Braun Strowman, and while he does not have a lawyer on speed dial, he can agree with Vince giving him a Universal title match against Brock Lesnar. Finn Balor shows up, saying he is a little tired of being left out of these kinds of conversation, and says that while everyone else can make claims to a lot of things, he is the only one here who held the Universal Championship. Vince says he may hold it again, but there is a lot of beef out here. He says Finn may be a great competitor, but he isn't too sure about Finn Balor's chances. Finn says Vince may never have believed in him, but the people did. He says that nothing he says can change Vince's mind, he might as well show him. He hits Corbin, starting a brawl that ends with McIntyre laying everyone out. Vince makes a Fatal 4-Way match between Cena, Finn, McIntyre and Corbin with the winner facing Brock Lesnar for the Universal title at Royal Rumble.

Backstage, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is met by Jinder Mahal, who wants a shot at the WWE Universal Championship. We look back on the break-up of The Rockers (Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty), courtesy of Glass, in theaters Friday.

Before the next match, Charly Caruso interviews Seth Rollins, who says this might be his last chance to regain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. He says he will make the most of his opportunity by kicking Dean Ambrose's teeth down his throat. He mentions himself and Dean telling Roman Reigns he didn't have to face leukemia alone shortly before Dean turned on him, and says that while Bobby Lashley has a physique, physique only gets you so far. He says that what matters is what you do bell-to-bell, and he plans to lay it all on the line to take the Intercontinental title back.

Bobby Lashley beats Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to become the WWE Intercontinental Champion after Lio Rush pulls the top rope down as Seth Rollins goes for The Stomp on Dean Ambrose, allowing Lashley to hit Ambrose with the Spear for the win and the title.

A backstage worker knocks on Alexa Bliss' locker room door with her latte. When she fails to answer, he opens the door and walks in on her getting dressed, much to Alexa's chagrin.

It's time for A Moment Of Bliss. She talks about WWE Chairman Vince McMahon introducing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, and announces that three teams from Raw and three teams from SmackDown Live will compete at Elimination Chamber for the titles. Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 8, 2018

WWE COO Triple H, dressed in a leather jacket and all black compared to his usual three-piece suit, shows up to start tonight's show, and is followed close behind by "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. Triple H says that 25 years is a long time to climb a mountain, but the mountain is climbed because it is the most difficult of all. He says he and Shawn should be standing at the summit, but the avalanche that fell on them after Saturday night made them both question if that mountain was a lie. We then see footage from Triple H vs. The Undertaker at Super Show-Down as well as the aftermath. Afterwards, Triple H says that "respect" is a word that has lost its significance as of late, and that it takes a lot to earn his and Shawn's respect. Triple H says that respect, to him, is sticking to your word when everyone else tells you not to, fighting side by side with someone like a brother, and being taken under the wing of one you idolize and making the most of it. Shawn says respect is sometimes given to something someone used to represent, and that the flight back home was "a long time to think" about the last eight-and-a-half years that he had sat there and honored his word out of respect that never existed at all. Shawn then says he heard the three words he never thought he'd hear again, which Triple H states: "Are you ready?" Triple H then asks the same of The Undertaker and Kane come Crown Jewel, and Shawn says "D-Generation X is ready!" Shawn then announces that he says this with no respect at all: "If you ain't down with that, we got two words for you...suck it!"

During the match, Lio Rush coaches Lashley through a live microphone, and Rush eventually distracts Owens so that Lashley can trip Owens off the top rope before hitting a cutter for the win. After the match, Lio Rush sends Lashley back into the ring to attack Owens and smash both of his legs into the ring post multiple times, despite pleas from two referees not to.

It is announced that Baron Corbin is setting up a global battle royal tonight, where the winner becomes the second man to enter the WWE World Cup.

Rush says his words and Lashley's power together is "too sweet," then he and Lashley leave.

Elias is in the ring. Elias says that when the legends speak of WWE, they speak about him whether they want to admit it or not. He says that one man who knows this is John Cena, as Cena knows that WWE stands for "Walk With Elias." He says that the circumstances that led to how things ended at Super Show-Down were not his fault, then proceeds to perform a song about it. Elias sings about how he was distracted by Cena's hair and Australian accents, and how he was sent to Chicago, Illinois, which he makes fun of along with Australia as well as the Chicago Cubs losing the MLB playoffs. All of a sudden, "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey shows up for the next match.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) beat The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan) in a Super Show-Down rematch with an arm bar to Ruby Riott from Ronda Rousey after The Bella Twins keep Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan from breaking the hold. After the match, The Bella Twins suddenly blindside Ronda Rousey and proceed to attack her, and referees have to break up a brawl that ends in the Bella laying Ronda Rousey out. They then lay Ronda in the middle on the ring and place the WWE Raw Women's Championship on top of her.

In the locker room, Dolph Ziggler says that tonight, he, Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre will take down The Shield tonight. Drew says everyone knows what they need to do, but they are tired of Dolph calling the shot after getting pinned Saturday. Drew tells Dolph he should be more worried about pulling his own weight, and Strowman tells them to shut up and remember that they got together so he can win the Universal Championship. He tells them to put The Shield down for good and to stop making excuses.

The match then starts.

The Conquistador wins the Global Battle Royal after taking a nap outside of the ring without eliminating himself, making him an instant part of the final two in the match. She calls her "Moment of Bliss" a "Moment of B.S." and says she is here to enlighten her with a moment of Stratusfaction. Alexa Bliss and Mickie James both show up. Alexa says only "the dullards" care what Trish has to say, but Trish says Alexa came up short in the math department before making fun of her height. Alexa says she gets that Trish is a legend, then tells her that she sucked in WWE. Alexa tells Trish that she would have been an afterthought if Alexa got in the ring with her at the time and that Trish would have been in her shadow. Trish challenges Alexa to get in the ring with her right now. Alexa and Mickie get in the ring, but Mickie says this is not happening here as the fans do not deserve it. She then says nothing good ever happens in Chicago, Illinois. Trish tells Mickie to protect her "bestie," and that at Evolution, she and Alexa will find out what a Hall of Fame beatdown feels like. Mickie then proposes Trish vs. Alexa be a tag team match. Trish likes the idea, then ponders who to team up with before Lita shows up. Both teams brawl, and Trish and Lita quickly come out on top. Lita almost hits Mickie James with a top rope moonsault, but Alexa gets Mickie out of the ring.

He says this is just how things are done in WWE to put smiles on the fans' faces, then says that Brock Lesnar is not here and not even watching the show tonight, as he is resting to train at home for Crown Jewel. Heyman promises that Lesnar will be the only one entering Crown Jewel with the individual goal of becoming Universal Champion, as Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman are both part of a team. He says that because of this, he can promise that Lesnar will become WWE Universal Champion again.

Stephanie chews Corbin out for putting himself in a match for the WWE Universal Championship, saying that he is not being a leader like she expected him to be, and while she can understand mistakes being made, she will not take excuses. Stephanie tells Corbin to get two tag team partners and take care of business with The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) or else Kurt Angle will be back from vacation sooner rather than later.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) show up to start tonight's show. Ambrose says everyone is looking at "the three workhorses" of the WWE, and while they have lost a few battles here and there, they have not lost the war and they are still here. Reigns says the fans could read their resumes, but it could probably take all day, and says that all they have to do is raise their titles high as they are the keys to the kingdom and everyone should want them, saying they can change a person's life. However, he feels the only people deserving of them are The Shield. Rollins says that is because this is and always will be about being the best, and that is what they are. He says that Braun Strowman recruited "a pack of jackasses" to take them down at Super Show-Down, but that will not happen. He also says that General Manager Baron Corbin is having a problem with them, and calls him out so they can show how much of a problem they can be. Baron Corbin shows up that Stephanie is here and that it is her birthday. He also says he will not let Raw erupt into madness like it has the last couple of weeks, and that he and his partners will throw The Shield around like a bunch of rag dolls so he can impress Stephanie. He plans to expose The Shield as a bunch of egos, and he plans to prove that with Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Braun Strowman, who all show up. Strowman tells Roman Reigns to shine the Universal title up real nice, as he will not be wearing it for very long. McIntyre says the truth hurts, and that Ambrose pushed him to his absolute limit last week. He tells Ambrose to look into his eyes, and that he deserves more and that Reigns and Rollins do not approve of him. Ziggler also mentions that Ambrose was the one Rollins called up to defeat him and McIntyre. He also says Ambrose has gotten nothing out of reforming The Shield, and says that Rollins and Reigns won't even let him speak before questioning Ambrose and Rollins' friendship outside of the ring. Ziggler then finishes by saying that Strowman will beat Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship, and says that if Ambrose joins their side, everything will come to him. Reigns tells Ziggler to shut up. He says that the fans paid money for them to whip their asses, and calls them out for a fight. Baron Corbin runs ahead and stops a brawl before it can begin, saying this is not happening right now. Corbin says he and his partners will deal with The Shield and spoil their reunion before it even begins as Ziggler and McIntyre defend the Raw tag team titles later tonight.

Finn Balor beats a distracted Jinder Mahal with a schoolboy pin after Bayley slaps Alicia Fox and hits a Bayley-To-Belly on Sunil Singh after tripping Jinder from the outside behind the referee's back in response to Sunil grabbing at Finn Balor's ankle. After the match, Jinder Mahal takes his anger out on Sunil Singh while Alicia Fox eggs him on, then Jinder calms himself down before smacking Sunil in the face.

During the match, Liv Morgan is sent to the back for evaluation following a triple suplex, and is not seen for the rest of the match. (It is later noted that Liv Morgan's chest lowered as Brie Bella performed the "Yes!" kicks. This does not end well, as Brie Bella kicks Liv Morgan in the face twice afterwards, potentially concussing Liv.)

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for March 20, 2018

The show starts with a video package of General Manager Daniel Bryan having to leave full-time competition two years ago. Suddenly, the breaking news that has swept the Internet today is mentioned, and it is announced that Daniel Bryan is now clear to compete in WWE once again after two years.

General Manager Daniel Bryan shows up to start tonight's show. Daniel Bryan brings up what happened to Commissioner Shane McMahon, and says that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are not here yet. He then decides to talk about something else. He talks about how he was forced to retire and focused on being grateful. He admits that he was upset, angry and mad about not being able to compete again, but he focused on gratefulness. He says he is grateful for having amazing family, friends and fans around the world, and he has an amazing wife in Brie Bella. He talks about how his wife told him it was nice to be grateful and how she also told him to fight for his dreams and see multiple specialists. The crowd chants "Thank you Brie!" After being cleared by three specialists, she told him to fight for his dreams, which is what he has always had done. He went from being grateful to fighting for his dreams so his dreams can fight for him. Daniel then says every hard thing seems impossible until it becomes real, and for the last two months, he has asked WWE to re-look at his case. He has been sent to numerous neurologists, and all of them have said that he is cleared. He says that there was a time when being cleared to compete in the ring was impossible, but now, it is real. He has a lot of "thank yous" to send to the WWE and their doctors for looking at him as a person and not a wrestler. He thanks them for giving his case a second look, and he thanks every single person in the arena and everyone watching at home, as they have all supported him this entire time. Daniel says that people have chanted for him week after week, and for that, he thanks the fans. He then thanks his wife Brie Bella, and says the fans cannot understand how much of a help she has been throughout. For that, he is grateful. Daniel says he does not know when or where he will get back in the ring, and the fans chant "WrestleMania" and point at the WrestleMania sign. Daniel asks if that sounds like a good idea, and the crowd erupts while chanting "Yes." He does not know for sure if that will happen, but he says he will compete in a WWE ring again. He then leads an enthusiastic "Yes" chant before heading to the back.

Referee Charles Robinson congratulates General Manager Daniel Bryan on the news. Daniel asks him to send Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to his office when they show up. Dolph Ziggler shows up and tells Daniel he cannot wait to beat him. Daniel responds by saying "Well...you can certainly try."

We see a video package of what has led Asuka to a match against Charlotte for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania. Backstage, Charlotte Flair has watched the video package. Natalya shows up and says Charlotte is scared, but Charlotte says Asuka will be her biggest challenge. Natalya says she can beat them both, and says Asuka is only undefeated because she hasn't faced HER yet. She also says that should be her WrestleMania moment. This leads to Charlotte challenging Natalya for later tonight.

Backstage, "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura tells "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles he did not need his help. AJ Styles says that he knows that Nakamura will tell him he will beat him at WrestleMania with a knee to the face, and Nakamura tells Styles he should have more confidence.

Before the next match, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) talk about how they were battling it out with The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships when The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan) showed up. They then talk about how The Bludgeon Brothers brutally attacked both tag teams, but they are still here and they are still holding down the blue brand tag team division. They say that all they know how to do is survive, go hard and "be the best damn tag team WWE has ever seen." They refuses to stand down and let The Bludgeon Brothers take away what they have worked for. Tonight, Jimmy Uso is about to go to war with Harper, and it will be lockdown when they hit the ring.

Harper beats Jimmy Uso.

Before the next match, Jinder Mahal cals everyone who boos him hypocrites, as he has sacrificed everything for a match at WrestleMania. He says he could be vacationing anywhere in the world and being the biggest star in Bollywood, but he has restored prestige to the WWE Championship and made SmackDown Live the premiere show. Mahal states he is disrespected and that people should worship the ground he walks on. He says the fans want change, but they would rather maintain the status quo with men like Randy Orton. Suddenly, Bobby Roode shows up. Roode says the only hypocrite in the arena is Jinder, and says respect is a two-way street and that Jinder deserves no respect. He also says the only thing Jinder deserves at WrestleMania is being beaten in the middle of the ring and taking back the United States title. Suddenly, Randy Orton shows up. Jinder tries to butter Orton up, but Orton tells him to shut up and says nobody respects Jinder because without the help of "his little stooge" Sunil Singh, he sucks. This leads to a "You suck!" chant, and Jinder throws Sunil Singh to Randy Orton in order to escape. Sunil falls victim to the draping DDT from the second rope. Orton goes for the RKO, but Roode hits the Glorious DDT on Sunil. Orton tries to RKO Roode, but Roode blocks it, leading to a stand-off. Jinder tries to approach, but Orton and Roode see him coming.

We look back on WrestleMania 1, courtesy of Snickers.

General Manager Daniel Bryan is in the ring. Daniel Bryan says tonight has been a big night, but there is still one more thing to address. He asks Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to come to the ring, which they do. Kevin and Sami give a congratulatory hug, and says they are here because they got the news that Daniel Bryan had been cleared to compete again. He says they were stopped by a Texas ranger for speeding, and talked their way out because "everyone's dumber in Texas." Sami says they would not miss this for the world, as Daniel Bryan has been their biggest supporter since day one even as the SmackDown Live locker room hated and resented them, as he was always fair to them. He calls Daniel Bryan being cleared to compete again an example of good things happening to good people, and says any show with them and Daniel on it is a dream show as well as a dream team. Daniel says he appreciates that, then says he brought them to the ring because of their attack on Commissioner Shane McMahon last week, which is replayed on the TitanTron. Kevin and Sami laugh, and Sami tells Daniel that Shane deserved it. Daniel Bryan tells them that this is a bigger deal than they are making it out to be. He calls them "two of the best performers of this generation," and admits he was living vicariously through them as he had known them for a long time and because he was forced to retire. However, he says this was more than "being carried away," as they both assaulted Shane. He then says he has trouble understanding why they did what they did to Shane. He says that he has been fired from WWE twice, and came back a better man. He tells them they can learn and grow from this. He says he hates having to do this, but he has no choice but to fire them. Sami and Kevin are shocked. Daniel Bryan says they are not gone forever; instead, they are both gone for now. He says they mean a lot to him, and extends his hand. The crowd sings "Na Na Hey Hey (The Goodbye Song)" as Daniel shakes hands, first with Sami, then with Kevin. Kevin and Sami turn around, then Kevin turns around and attacks Daniel Bryan. Owens then screams "You did this! You!" Sami punches Daniel in the face multiple times, then when they decide to double-team him, Daniel Bryan fights back. Referees show up as Daniel hits Kevin with the Yes Kicks, but Sami goes on the ground-and-pound when he gets back in the ring. Kevin gets Daniel up and holds him in the corner as he screams "Why'd you do that?!?" He then screams to Sami "Do it!" Sami then hits Daniel Bryan with the Helluva Kick. Kevin screams wildly again as Daniel Bryan tries to get up, then Kevin punches Daniel in the face. Sami then tosses Daniel Bryan out of the ring, then gets him back up and tosses him to Kevin, who powerbombs Daniel Bryan into the ring apron. EMTs bring in a stretcher to take Daniel Bryan out of the arena.
