Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for November 29, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews The New Wave (Justin Case, "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, "The Chosen One" Zay Washington) at the announce desk. As Justin Case says that there will always be trouble, Aaron Roberts says that for weeks leading into months, he has been hearing the fans call him a failure as well as everything under the sun, but now he is starting to hear it from Justin Case and Zay Washington, and wants to know where Washington was in his most recent match with Ray Ray Sanders. Washington says that ever since "he lost that contract," he has been a failure. (This is a reference to Aaron Roberts being released from his WWE ID contract in August due to his association with KnokX Pro Wrestling following the Raja Jackson-Syko Stu incident.) Justin Case says that things are a little different, and tells Aaron Roberts to fall in line.



We see Makkari Kandy looking back on what happened in her most recent match, saying that she has let The Super Friends (Wonder Boy and The Shocker) down and that everywhere hse looks, she sees J. Webb. She says enough is enough and it is time for a change.



Jerry "The King" Lawler is announced for Milestone 250.



Tim Bosby beats VaShawn Harvey and Oso Suave in a two-on-one handicap match.



Backstage, Justin Case and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington catch up with "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, and this leads to tempers flaring between Roberts and Washington, with Roberts telling Washington to take care of Marko "Hangtime" Harris on his own.



Backstage, Marko "Hangtime" Harris meets up with Marko Stunt. Hangtime meets with Stunt about having him as a manager, but Stunt tells Hangtime he does need him and that he can take care of business himself today.



The Disorderlies (Disorderly #1 and Disorderly #2) vs. The Big Manes (K-Toomer and Big John Dalton) ends in a no-contest. During the match, K-Toomer charges at one of The Disorderlies only to inadvertently take out Big John Dalton when The Disorderlies shove him into K-Toomer's path, and this leads to K-Toomer and Big John Dalton shoving each other again. Big Daddy, DJ Klaun and security get in the ring to restore order. Big Daddy gets shoved by K-Toomer, and Big John knocks out DJ Klaun, and the match ends in a no-contest as even the locker room has to help out.



Backstage, The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) are trying to figure out what to do regarding Gio Savage, RJW and Uncle Elroy. Lamonte says it is "time to call the boys," and cashes in a favor from someone telling him to make sure Gio Savage does not make it to the WrestleCenter.

It is announced by Jake Brewer that "The Gift" Ray Sanders is on concussion protocol and will not be back until 2026, and that Sycho Simon has been fined and suspended indefinitely.



RJW beats The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) in an unplanned two-on-one handicap match. After the match, Uncle Elroy celebrates by dancing all over the ring alongside Muddy Waters.



Marko Stunt guests on commentary for the next match.

Marko "Hangtime" Harris beats "The Chosen One" Zay Washington to become the Memphis Wrestling Internet Champion! During the match, Justin Case distracts the ref so that Zay Washington can hit Marko Harris with a low blow. He then calls for help in the form of "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, who then shoves Washington and refuses to help him. Marko hits Washington with a tope suicida, kicks out of a schoolkid pin, then fights back and hits a cutter from the top rope to win the match and the title.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for November 1, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Wonder Boy, The Shocker and Makkari Kandy. Wonder Boy says a new team of superheroes have hit the block and that they promise to protect Memphis before calling their trio "The Super Friends."

Diana Taylor guests on commentary for the next match.

The Super Friends (Wonder Boy, The Shocker, Makkari Kandy) beat Vybe Check (Sevyn Cruz, KJ Rockett, Jay Pariah) to advance in the Trios Tag Tournament.



Backstage, "Main Event" Bradley feel that CJ Money has a potential big win in him, and asks CJ Money to keep working and Mama Money to keep working with CJ Money.



"Cold Hearted" Colton Cage retains the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Championship against "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox after throwing him into the ropes for a Sunset Flip.



Backstage, Jake Brewer interviews Tim Bosby. Bosby says he has to get the thorn known as VaShawn Harvey out of his side. He says that VaShawn is trying to make a name for himself, but it will not be with him, and he will make sure the message is well-received when he snaps his ankle and makes him tap out.



The Disorderlies (Disorderly #1 and Disorderly #2) vs. The Big Manes (Big John Dalton and K-Toomer) ends with The Big Manes brawling with each other. After the match, referees and security try their best to keep Big John Dalton and K-Toomer separated. K-Toomer manages to hit Big John with a Spear before both men are finally held down on the mat and separated. Just when it seems that everything is under control, K-Toomer choke slams a security guard and Big John Dalton is able to get back to the ring.



Backstage, Wonder Boy and The Shocker meet with "The Gift" Ray Sanders, telling him that he is the hero Memphis Needs and that they and Makkari Kandy believe in him.



"The Chosen One" Zay Washington retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against "Livewire" Bobby Ford after Ford inadvertently takes out the referee and gets choke slammed by "The Problem" Aaron Roberts.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for October 11, 2025

In loving memory of James Burchell "Bonecrusher," 1959 - 2025.

"Main Event" Bradley guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Gift" Ray Sanders beats CJ Money after "Main Event" Bradley's referee distraction and Mama Money's interference attempt fails. After the commercial break, Main Event Bradley hands CJ Money's leather belt to Mama Money so that Mama Money can whip CJ. Amazingly, the whipping doesn't happen, and the three of them head to the back instead.



We see Johnny Swinger in the WrestleCenter parking lot.



It is revealed that Raven Black has been attacked by Vybe Check (Sevyn Cruz, KJ Rockett, Jake Pryor) in the parking lot and has injured her right arm. Big Mama shows up after Vybe Check leaves and helps Raven Black up for a trip to medical, vowing to get to the bottom of this.



Reverend Ash Taylor shows up with Marrow's mask, and Dustin Starr interviews him at the announce desk. Ash Taylor says that he and The Slaughterhouse (Jagged James and Nasty Nick) have been tearing it up for the last few months, then calls The Slaughterhouse out. They show up with Jaymes from Special Forces, then toss him into the ring for a handicap match. The Slaughterhouse (Jagged James and Nasty Nick) quickly beat Jaymes in an impromptu two-on-one handicap match with a two-man choke slam. After the commercial break, Dustin Starr interviews Reverend Ash Taylor and The Slaughterhouse at the announce desk. He says he has heard the messages from Bruce, Marrow and Sister Asa, who says that they do not scare them and that the doors to The Slaughterhouse are wide open as he invites Bruce and Marrow to face them. Bruce and Marrow show up, and security has to hold them back.



Jake Brewer reports that the Memphis Trios Tournament is returning on November 1st, with one catch. More info will be available on the tournament soon.



Diana Taylor guests on commentary for the next match.

Vybe Check (Sevyn Cruz and KJ Rockett) beat Big Mama in a two-on-one handicap match after Cruz and Jake Pryor trip Big Mama on the outside as Big Mama gets KJ Rockett back in the ring, giving Rockett the pin and the win.



We see footage of Juggalo Championship Wrestling and Memphis Wrestling in Memphis.



Dustin Starr interviews Johnny Swinger at the announce desk. Swinger says he has been waiting for far too long and brags about beating some classic Memphis wrestlers before stating that he is here to face the best Memphis has to offer. His challenge is answered by Marko "Hangtime" Harris. Marko says that if he is looking for the best Memphis has to offer, then he should look no further.

Marko "Hangtime" Harris beats Johnny Swinger with a Sunset Flip as senior official David Knight tries to stop Swinger from using a tennis racket as a weapon.



Backstage, we hear from Oso Suave and VaShawn Harvey. VaShawn Harvey says things are starting to get interesting between him and Tim Bosby, and that he is coming for the Cobra Cup and that he will strike when Bosby least expects it.



We see footage of Memphis Wrestling at Memphis Light Gas and Water's "Wrestling with Technology" event with special guest Dave Brown.



We see J. Webb reading Makkari Kandy's letter outside of the WrestleCenter. He leaves both his doll and the letter behind as he walks off.



Coach Pillar announces that Memphis Wrestling has raised $25,005 for St. Jude for Tupelo Supershow.



The Disorderlies (Disorderly #1 and Disorderly #2) beats The Big Manes (K-Toomer and Big John Dalton) after K-Toomer leaves Big John Dalton high and dry and steps off the apron when he goes for a tag. The Disorderlies then hit a double-team move on Big John Dalton for the pin and the win.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for August 23, 2025

The show starts with Big John Dalton welcoming back and helping Buff Bagwell into the WrestleCenter.



"The Gift" Ray Sanders beats "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx.



We see a recent interview between Dustin Starr and Buff Bagwell. Buff Bagwell is in high spirits after his recent leg amputation.



Dustin Starr interviews Buff Bagwell and Big Jon Dalton at the announce desk. Buff Bagwell says he is here to see Big Jon Dalton win the tag team titles back. He also says that he will be back in the ring one day in Memphis Wrestling, then says Big Jon has followed him since he was a child and that he would not miss this match for the world.



The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) beat The O'Neal Brothers (Steven and Devin O'Neal) with a schoolkidpin from Lil' Homie to Steven O'Neal after Steven inadvertently clobbers Devin with a discus clothesline.



"Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock meets with the rest of The Hollywood Clique (Jay Smooth, Kale, Secret Service) backstage. He says that K-Toomer is out of control and tells Jay Smooth and Kale to take him out in their match.



We see footage of Carlito with the fans at the WrestleCenter.



Diana Taylor guests on commentary for the next match. She mentions that she can now see in light and is "65% okay."

Big Mama beats KJ Rockett.



Outside of the WrestleCenter, Gio Savage is on the phone when The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) confront him for talking trash about them. Gio Savage mentions that they lost their own signature Hustle Hard Match recently, then leaves. The L.A. Hustlers take offense to this.



Nixi XS beats Makkari Kandy after Makkari is distracted by the sudden appearance of J. Webb.



The Hollywood Clique (Jay Smooth and Kale) retain the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships after Sycho Simon shows up, distracting both Big John Dalton and Buff Bagwell and allowing Kale to hit K-Toomer in the back with one of the tag team titles as the referees and security are dealing with Sycho Simon.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for July 19, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Shark Boy at the announce desk to start today's show. Shark Boy asks the crowd if they are ready for another Shark Boy Battle Royal, then says he has brought some partners in the form of The Shocker and Wonderboy. The battle royal is an invitational, which means that anybody from anywhere can show up. Participants are eliminated when they are thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the floor. Shark Boy guests on commentary for the next match, but he eventually enters the match after the first commercial break.



Sycho Simon - now with a custom-made Heritage Championship belt - wins the Shark Boy Battle Royal after last eliminating Shark Boy, having already done the same to Wonderboy and The Shocker.



Backstage, "The Gift" Ray Sanders confronts James Ellsworth as Ellsworth goes through a bag. Ellsworth leaves, but Sanders is jumped from behind by Vashawn Harvey.



Big Mama and Raven Black beat Vybe Check (Sevyn Cruz and KJ Rockett).



Backstage, Mama Money threatens to whup CJ Money if he keeps losing. Main Event Bradley shows up and offers to help out, then hands him some money and tells him to get something to eat and return. CJ leaves, and Bradley tells Mama Money that CJ needs a male role model.



Backstage, Lil' Homie is happy with how his first big match went, and both he and Tim Grind praise Xya Wolfe for taking care of business with Reggie B. Fine by making her part of the team, complete with a Bizness Dawgs jersey.



Dustin Starr interviews The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) at the announce desk. Ruffshot Lamonte says they have proven they are the best tag team here and had Reggie B. Fine show up to show support only to be disrespected when Xya Wolfe slapped Reggie. Notorious Bradley says they have a made a call to their "long distance" cousin, who is - strangely - James Ellsworth, to take Xya Wolfe out. After claiming that he is a first-ballot WWE Hall of Famer, Ellsworth says that since the fans are disrespecting him, he promises that he will put Xya Wolfe in the hospital.



Jake Brewer asks the fans who their favorite Memphis Wrestling superstars are.



Colton Cage beats "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox. During the match, Main Event Bradley guests on commentary to scout Colton Cage, despite claiming he is still #1 contender for the Junior Heritage Championship despite no longer being #1 contender.



It is revealed that a masked man in a black hoodie carrying a pipe has laid out K-Toomer in the parking lot. The tag team title match becomes a singles match because of this.

Jay Smooth beats Big John Dalton to make The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Jay Smooth, Secret Service) the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Champions! During the match, the masked man returns and demands Jay Smooth tag him in, which Jay Smooth does. Jay Smooth and the masked attacked make quick work of Big John Dalton, and they win the match and the tag team titles. After the match, the masked man reveals him to be Kale.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for May 31, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews "The GunShow" Brett Michaels at the announce desk. GunShow says he has taken care of "The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington, then says that whoever wants some can come get some. All of a sudden, Sycho Simon suddenly shows up and slowly approaches the announce desk, then he grabs Dustin's fist along with the microphone and tells him to put his money where his mouth is regarding fighting anybody in the locker room. Simon and The GunShow brawl at the announce desk, then both men grab metal folding chairs before Matchmaker King Cobra shows up with referees and security. King Cobra calls for an end to the brawling and says they can have this match right here, right now, today, anything goes and with the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship on the line.

Sycho Simon beats "The GunShow" Brett Michaels in a no rules match to become the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Champion after hitting GunShow in the face with his spiked shoulder pad. After the match, Simon celebrates by tearing up a pro-GunShow sign before leaving through the lobby the same way he arrived.



Makkari Kandy and J. Webb beat Sevyn Cruz and KJ Rockett in a mixed tag match with a submission hold from J. Webb to KJ Rockett.



Dustin Starr interviews Scorpio Sky at the announce desk. Scorpio admits that while he usually calls every town he goes to the worst he has ever been in, he has a soft spot for Memphis, saying the city has changed his mind and that he is here to show the fans that everything they have heard about him is true. As he says that he is the best, Justin Case, "The Problem" Aaron Roberts and "The Chosen One" Zay Washington show up, and Washington says he is tired of people from other cities showing up claiming they are the best. Washington says he is the best and that if Scorpio is the best like he claims, then he has to prove it. Scorpio challenges Washington a match next week, and Washington accepts.



Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against "The King of Pow" Chris Lexx, who has not been seen in Memphis Wrestling for quite some time (mostly due to being in Bluff City Wrestling and winning the Southern Heavyweight Championship there).



We hear from "Hangtime" Marko Harris, who says that while he has proved he is a top player, he has not proved that he is the best, and he plans to change that by challenging "The Problem" Aaron Roberts to a match.



The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) vs. The Big Manes (Big John Dalton and K-Toomer) for the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships ends in a no-contest after The Big Manes are attacked by The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, Ray Collins, Jay Smooth, Secret Service). The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind, Lil' Homie, Xya Wolfe) show up and fight The L.A. Hustlers to the back as The Hollywood Clique attack The Big Manes with pipes, chairs and even Jimmy Blaylock's cane before striking K-Toomer in the head with a chair and celebrating with the tag team titles to end the show.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for April 19, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews The Righteous Path (Reverend Ash Taylor, Brother Bruce, Morrow, Sister Asa) at the announce desk. Reverend Ash Taylor says he has been thinking about the last seven days and has been met with nothing but disappointment, and blames everything on Brother Bruce and Morrow, stating that he was the one member who was closest to the tag team titles. He asks Morrow where he was when The Twins of Salem (Jackson Crowley and Abel Booker) put him through a table, then slaps him. Brother Bruce gets in front of Reverend Ash Taylor only to get slapped as well, then yells at Sister Asa for running away, "scared like a child." Morrow stops the Reverend from slapping Sister Asa, and Brother Bruce says that Reverend Ash Taylor has been overstepping for the past year, and while he has had his back and has been his right-hand man since day one, he has been caging a monster, and calls him "nothing but a fake-ass reverend." Reverend Ash Taylor tries to beg Bruce off, but Bruce punches him in the face. Bruce and Morrow surround Reverend Ash Taylor in the ring and slam him down into the mat, then Morrow takes the collection plate and stomps it. Bruce, Morrow and Sister Asa then enter the face locker room, signifying a face turn.



Tim Bosby beats Gio Savage.



We hear from Sycho Simon, who talks about he tried to dance with the devil in the pale moonlight only for the devil to fail to show up, because even he knows that he rules Memphis Wrestling. He asks what it feels like to put someone through a table and braek bones in half, and says he is the one everyone should worry about. He then says it will be over soon.



Backstage, members of the Memphis Wrestling receive a weigh-in from Derrick King.



We see footage of Indi Hartwell with the fans at the WrestleCenter.



Dustin Starr interviews Indi Hartwell at the announce desk. Indi says he is looking for the best indies and has heard that Memphis Wrestling is one of the best indies around, then Diana Taylor shows up. Diana apologizes and introduces herself before welcoming Indi to Memphis Wrestling, then Nixi XS shows up and says that she is the one that matters in the women's division before punching Diana in the face and telling her she is nothing. Indi throws Nixi XS off of Diana and checks on Diana, and Nixi XS tells Indi she will regret laying her hands on her.



We see footage of The Slaughterhouse ("Jagged" James Dean and "Ruthless" Nick James) putting "The GunShow" Brett Michaels through a table at a Memphis Showboats event and The GunShow beating The Slaughterhouse at Showboats Showdown with the help of Memphis Showboats mascot Skipper.

In footage from earlier this week, "The Gift" Ray Sanders is met by Oso at the front of the WrestleCenter. Oso hands him his business card, then walks away.



Dustin Starr interviews The Big Manes (K-Toomer and Big John Dalton) at the announce desk. K-Toomer says that Big John Dalton is ready to slap some meat while he is ready to beat some meat.

The Big Manes (K-Toomer and Big John Dalton) beat The O'Neal Brothers (Steven and Devin O'Neal) by disqualification after Ray Collins and Jay Smooth attack K-Toomer and Big John with weapons. "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock also joins in on the attack, as does his Secret Service agents, who also steal the tag team titles. K-Toomer takes the majority of the chair shots as he protects Big John Dalton.



We hear from "Super" Sean Legacy and Jack Cartwheel, who talk about their one-on-one match and state that there can only be one victor.
