Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for October 11, 2025

In loving memory of James Burchell "Bonecrusher," 1959 - 2025.

"Main Event" Bradley guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Gift" Ray Sanders beats CJ Money after "Main Event" Bradley's referee distraction and Mama Money's interference attempt fails. After the commercial break, Main Event Bradley hands CJ Money's leather belt to Mama Money so that Mama Money can whip CJ. Amazingly, the whipping doesn't happen, and the three of them head to the back instead.

We see Johnny Swinger in the WrestleCenter parking lot.

It is revealed that Raven Black has been attacked by Vybe Check (Sevyn Cruz, KJ Rockett, Jake Pryor) in the parking lot and has injured her right arm. Big Mama shows up after Vybe Check leaves and helps Raven Black up for a trip to medical, vowing to get to the bottom of this.

Reverend Ash Taylor shows up with Marrow's mask, and Dustin Starr interviews him at the announce desk. Ash Taylor says that he and The Slaughterhouse (Jagged James and Nasty Nick) have been tearing it up for the last few months, then calls The Slaughterhouse out. They show up with Jaymes from Special Forces, then toss him into the ring for a handicap match. The Slaughterhouse (Jagged James and Nasty Nick) quickly beat Jaymes in an impromptu two-on-one handicap match with a two-man choke slam. After the commercial break, Dustin Starr interviews Reverend Ash Taylor and The Slaughterhouse at the announce desk. He says he has heard the messages from Bruce, Marrow and Sister Asa, who says that they do not scare them and that the doors to The Slaughterhouse are wide open as he invites Bruce and Marrow to face them. Bruce and Marrow show up, and security has to hold them back.

Jake Brewer reports that the Memphis Trios Tournament is returning on November 1st, with one catch. More info will be available on the tournament soon.

Diana Taylor guests on commentary for the next match.

Vybe Check (Sevyn Cruz and KJ Rockett) beat Big Mama in a two-on-one handicap match after Cruz and Jake Pryor trip Big Mama on the outside as Big Mama gets KJ Rockett back in the ring, giving Rockett the pin and the win.

We see footage of Juggalo Championship Wrestling and Memphis Wrestling in Memphis.

Dustin Starr interviews Johnny Swinger at the announce desk. Swinger says he has been waiting for far too long and brags about beating some classic Memphis wrestlers before stating that he is here to face the best Memphis has to offer. His challenge is answered by Marko "Hangtime" Harris. Marko says that if he is looking for the best Memphis has to offer, then he should look no further.

Marko "Hangtime" Harris beats Johnny Swinger with a Sunset Flip as senior official David Knight tries to stop Swinger from using a tennis racket as a weapon.

Backstage, we hear from Oso Suave and VaShawn Harvey. VaShawn Harvey says things are starting to get interesting between him and Tim Bosby, and that he is coming for the Cobra Cup and that he will strike when Bosby least expects it.

We see footage of Memphis Wrestling at Memphis Light Gas and Water's "Wrestling with Technology" event with special guest Dave Brown.

We see J. Webb reading Makkari Kandy's letter outside of the WrestleCenter. He leaves both his doll and the letter behind as he walks off.

Coach Pillar announces that Memphis Wrestling has raised $25,005 for St. Jude for Tupelo Supershow.

The Disorderlies (Disorderly #1 and Disorderly #2) beats The Big Manes (K-Toomer and Big John Dalton) after K-Toomer leaves Big John Dalton high and dry and steps off the apron when he goes for a tag. The Disorderlies then hit a double-team move on Big John Dalton for the pin and the win.
