Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 20, 2025

General Manager Adam Pearce is in the ring to start tonight's show. Before he can provide an update concerning last week, a black GMC Denali drives in, and out comes The Vision (Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, "The Oracle" Paul Heyman). Bron Breakker is holding the World Heavyweight Championship. The Vision make their way to the ring, and Pearce chews them out for what they did to Seth "Freakin'" Rollins at the end of last week's show, and states that Rollins has undertaken major surgery and will be on the shelf for some time. Pearce strips Seth "Freakin'" Rollins of the World Heavyweight Championship, then announces that a new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at Saturday Night's Main Event. He announces that there will be an over-the-top-rope battle royal with the winner facing CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event, and that the battle royal will happen tonight. Pearce then demands Breakker hand over the World Heavyweight Championship, but Breakker asks "What happens if I don't?" before demanding respect from Pearce after having a word with Heyman. Pearce respectfully requests Breakker to hand over the title, but Breakker demands Pearce say "Please." Pearce asks Breakker to hand it over again, this time not so nicely while still saying "Please." Breakker hands the title over to Heyman, who glances at the World Heavyweight Championship before handing it to Pearce. Pearce then leaves with the World Heavyweight title. Heyman then asks why everyone is mad at The Vision and asks what they did to deserve it, saying he did what he did at WrestleMania because he believes that Bron Breakker is the future and that Bronson is better than Roman Reigns. He says that Bronson proved that at Crown Jewel, then mentions Seth pointing to the sign and says he could not shoulder the responsibility of leading The Vision into the future, calling him "a bum shoulder bitch." Heyman states that winners write history and that Bronson and Breakker are winners, and states that while he is a kind and gentle oracle, Bronson and Breakker pulled the trigger to become WrestleMania main eventers. He calls this not a rewrite of history, but a revision of the future, then thanks the fans for their time before welcoming them to the show.

Backstage, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez) has faith that Roxanne Perez will win the World Heavyweight Championship. "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up, and Finn Balor and JD McDonagh get mad at him for having to defend the World Tag Team titles before leaving. Roxanne tells Dominik not to let this get to him, and Raquel tells Roxanne to get her head in the game.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee beat The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and JD McDonagh) to become the World Tag Team Champions!

Backstage, "Main Event" Jey Uso apologizes to Jimmy Uso for his words last week, saying he was mad at himself for making the same mistake as he made in Paris. Jimmy tells Jey that he lost the World title because he stopped believing in himself, but Jey says Roman Reigns might be right, too. Jimmy tells Jey to figure things out before the battle royal, because he is going in on everyone, including him. Jey asks Jimmy if everything is cool, to which Jimmy says yes.

"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Rusev. During the match, Penta stops Dominik from escaping. Rusev sends Dominik into Penta, and that allows Dominik to put the ring bell hammer in one of his boots. Rusev is able to avoid the 619 and find the hammer in his boot, but the ref takes the hammer away as Rusev tries to attack Dominik with it. This allows Dominik to kick Rusev in the groin before hitting the top rope frog slash to win and retain. After the match, Penta hits Rusev with a springboard tornado DDT in response for throwing Dominik at him.

UFC welterweight fighter Max Griffin and former UFC fighter Nate Diaz are seen in the front row.

Maxxine Dupri beat Becky Lynch by disqualification. During the match, Becky tries to get out of the match, but Maxxine stops her from doing it and hits her with a Sunset Flip even as Becky tries to grab the referee. After kicking out, Becky then hits Maxxine with the Women's Intercontinental Championship in full view of the referee. Becky Lynch retains the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. After the match, Becky attacks Maxxine and hits her with the Manhandle Slam.

We hear from The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). Asuka brags about ruining Rhea Ripley's trip home as well as her and Kairi breaking Iyo Sky's spirit like she broke Rhea's face. Kairi Sane says Rhea must pay for breaking their family apart. Asuka tells Kairi that she finally showed what she wanted to see from her: how ruthless she can be. She says The Kabuki Warriors will continue to be ruthless. Kairi says they need a new challenge, and Asuka says they need gold around their waists before warning the women's tag team division that they are back.

General Manager Adam Pearce meets with Paul Heyman. Pearce tells Heyman that Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed are out of the battle royal, and makes Heyman say "please" in order to put them back in the match. Heyman says "please," then Adam Pearce says it is still not happening. Pearce shuts his door, then turns around and runs right into Becky Lynch. He tells Becky that Breakker and Bronson conspired against Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and that he had to put himself between them. He also tells her that he put himself in harm's way, then tells Becky that The Vision (Breakker, Bronson, Heyman) still has a spot for her. Becky grabs Heyman by the tie and tells him that she is not buying this, and warns Heyman that Seth saw this coming. She then warns him that Seth is going to go after anyone he attaches himself to and make Heyman wish he was going after him.

Stephanie Vaquer beats Roxanne Perez after taking out both her and Raquel Rodriguez on the outside. After the match, Raquel hits Vaquer from behind, and Roxanne joins in. Suddenly, Nikki Bella runs intot he ring and makes the save. She levels Roxanne with a clothesline, but eats a big boot from Raquel. Vaquer hits Raquel with a springboard clothesline and hits her with a DDT, then she and Nikki send Roxanne and Raquel packing.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce congratulates Lyra Valkyria when Bayley shows up. Bayley tells Lyra she has a surprise for her birthday next week, much to Lyra's chagrin.

Backstage, Paul Heyman meets with Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed. Bron wants himself and Bronson back in the battle royal tonight. Heyman mentions Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and Roman Reigns and how he made them successful, then tells him to look in the mirror and listen to him.

Backstage, Stephanie Vaquer tells Nikki Bella that Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez will not take her titles. Nikki tells Vaquer that she has taken the women's division to the next level and is now champion, and asks her to be cautious, because she has a target on her back and anyone can take her out. Stephanie tells Nikki she owes her one, and Nikki says she will take her up on that, having now made two new enemies.

CM Punk guests on commentary for the next match.

"Main Event" Jey Uso last eliminates "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio to win a battle royal and face CM Punk for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event. During the match, Jimmy Uso and LA Knight tumble over the top rope at the same time as Jimmy tries to clothesline Knight over the top rope before Jey can save Jimmy. After the match, Jimmy Uso is none too pleased about being eliminated before Jey Uso and CM Punk have a staredown in the middle of the ring to end the show.
