It's time for The King's Speech. Frankie Kazarian says he is usually dressed to the nines for this, but he is dressed to fight tonight. He also brags that he beat Steve Maclin for the TNA International Championship and demands that the fans give him a standing ovation for the next three to five seconds. This leads to a standing ovation as well as a "Frankie Sucks!" chant before Kazarian calls the International Championship the most important title in TNA, and states that while Trick Williams may be World Champion and a star, he is not a king. Kazarian also addresses (and mocks) The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy), calling them "a couple of extreme punch-drunk marks" before addressing (and mocking) Leon Slater, stating that he cannot lead TNA into the future as X Division Champion like he did. He then introduces tonight's guest, TNA Knockouts World Champion Kelani Jordan, who heads to the ring. Kazarian tells Kelani that the rest of the Knockouts hate each other and talk about each other behind each others' backs and call her win a fluke, which he states he does not believe. Kelani says she has never a fluke when she was stepped into college athletics, NXT or TNA, and tells Kazarian to name a bigger fluke. Kazarian states that Trick Williams is only champion because he beat Joe Hendry, because if he were world champion, Trick would not have beaten him. Trick Williams shows up and states that while he likes Kazarian, he demands Kazarian put some respect on his name, as he is carrying two brands and has beaten the best that TNA has to offer. He says that if Kazarian is a king, then he is an emperor, but Kazarian says they can talk about hierarchy when Trick has put in the time he has and has built empires. Trick calls Kazarian "a second rate champion in a second rate business," then states that if Mike Santana puts his hands on him unprovoked before Bound for Glory, then their title match at Bound for Glory will be cancelled. Trick states that TNA needs him as they are breaking records and are on fire because of him, not because of The Hardys. Matt Hardy soon shows up. Matt Hardy says some self-esteem issues are happening in the ring and that it seems like Trick and Kazarian are trash-talking TNA to make themselves look better while TNA is on fire because of wrestlers like Santana, Slater, and The Hardys. He also mentions that tonight's show is in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and that Edmonton loves TNA, and no matter how much Trick and Kazarian trash talk TNA, TNA will not die. Kazarian asks where Jeff Hardy is before stating that Jeff is not even allowed in Canada, then wishes he wasn't allowed in "this dump of a country" either before Leon Slater shows up. Slater says he will not sit back and let Kazarian "chat bollocks" and take the piss out of The Hardys, and while Jeff is not here, he is, and he will stand by Matt's side every single day of the week. Kazarian says he only understood six words that he says, and Trick tells Slater to mind his business while grown folks are talking. Kelani says that she is the guest and says that she wants to prove that nobody can do it like her. Indi Hartwell shows up and states that while she respect Kelani, she has never wrestled anyone like her, and she has the support of the locker room and the fans, and at Bound for Glory, she will bring the Knockouts title home and become champion. As Kazarian complains about all the unwanted guests on his show, Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up. Santino tells everyone to take it easy and says everyone is chatting like high school kids, then says everyone is fired up for an epic Bound for Glory, which is still over a week away. Santino then says he still needs a match for tonight, and after asking the fans if they want to see a six-person tag match - which they do - he puts Trick, Kazarian and Kelani against Slater, Matt Hardy and Indi in a six-person tag match that happens next. He also announces that Mike Santana will guest on commentary for this match.
Matt Hardy, Leon Slater and Indi Hartwell beat Frankie Kazarian, Trick Williams and Kelani Jordan in a six-person tag team match after Matt Hardy shoves Frankie Kazarian into Trick Williams, knocking him into Mike Santana and allowing Santana to beat him up (as he is not the instigator). This allows Slater to hit Kazarian with a dive over the ring post followed by a top rope Swanton 450 for the win.
We see Tommy Dreamer with the locker room on the stage. He addresses the Survivor Series and winner-takes-all title matches and says that TNA is family, and that at Showdown, TNA will take NXT to the extreme and kick their asses.
As per the Bioflex Injury Report: Gia Miller is cleared following bruising received from Tessa Blanchard at Victory Road. Ash by Elegance is out with an undisclosed injury and no timetable has been announced. The IInspiration (Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee) and The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance) are 100% cleared for tonight's Knockouts Tag Team title match.
We see a video package for Mara Sadé, who says that darkness cannot exist without the light before she talks about her path in professional wrestling that led her to TNA, which she calls the light at the end of her tunnel.
The Angel Warriors (Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee) beat Kat Von Heez and Ava Lawless.
Backstage, Joe Hendry says he finally overcame Eric Young at Victory Road, but now that the student has overcome the teacher after taking a page from his book. Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up and tells Hendry that he will have to face Eric Young again next week in a no-disqualification match.
We see a video package chronicling Mike Santana's road to Bound for Glory. Mike Santana enters a building where he is both encouraged and fired up by Amazing Red, who talks about what he and Homicide did in TNA to open the door for guys like Santana. Amazing Red says that he is disappointed and that he and Homicide wasted their time after Santana failed to win the TNA World Championship from Trick, and makes it imperative that Santana must win the title at Bound for Glory. He tells Santana that this is not about his friends, his fans or his family, and that he must win the title for himself to put things back in order.
"The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth beats The Home Town. During the match, "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth is seen wearing The Home Town Man's purple mask, but The Home Town Man shows up with a red mask. The Home Town Man nearly takes the mask back after hitting Ryan with a tope suicida, but Nic Nemeth hits The Home Town Man with a superkick followed by Danger Zone for the win as soon as The Home Town Man gets back in the ring. After the match, Ryan takes Home Town Man's purple mask back before he and Nic stomp The Home Town Man, but Matt Cardona shows up to make the save only to be ganged up on as well.
We hear from Gia Miller, who says that she is not surprised that Tessa Blanchard wasted no time attacking her backstage at Victory Road, then says she is glad because Tessa broke the conditions of her suspension being lifted, and that she will stay true to her word and beat her up at Bound for Glory. She says Tessa thinks she knows her because of their shared past, but she knows more about Tessa than Tessa knows about her. Gia says she has been pushed just too far, and it is not about winning or losing, but about beating Tessa within an inch of her life so that Tessa knows who she really is.
Alisha Edwards beats Tasha Steelz. During the match, Jason Hotch gets on the ring apron, causing him to gain the ire of the rest of The System (Eddie Edwards, Moose, Brian Myers), who confronts him. As the referee is pre-occupied with the confrontation on the outside, Tasha tries to attack Alisha with a shinai, but Alisha takes the shinai away and strikes Tasha with it to get the win. After the match, Tasha attacks Alisha from behind, but The rest of The System cause Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Jason Hotch, Mustafa Ali) to fall back.
Backstage, we hear from Tessa Blanchard and Victoria Blanchard. Tessa talks about how she trained with George South and mentions Gia Miller wanting to train with George South when she came back to TNA because Gia idolized her, then says that Gia found out she could not cut it as a wrestler and went to Mike Jackson's school. Tessa says she is terrified of what she will do to Gia at Bound for Glory and that Gia is the same scared little girl who could not cut it, and tells Gia to do what she has always done: pack her bags and hit the road so she can pretend this never happened.
Before the next match, The Personal Concierge George Iceman calls the fans in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada "degenerate losers" before introducing The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance).
The IInspiration (Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee) beat The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance) to become the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions for a second time! During the match, The Personal Concierge George Iceman hands Heather by Elegance a glass of champagne, and when Heather tries to throw the champagne in Cassie's face while The Personal Concierge distracts the referee, Cassie ducks, and Heather hits M in the face and blinds her instead. The IInspiration then hit Heather with the IIdolizer to win the match and the titles.
