Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for October 22, 2025

In backstage footage from WrestleDream, "Hangman" Adam Page tells Samoa Joe that he warned him and that when he finds him, he will ruin "[his] goddamn life."

The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) retain the AEW World Trios Championships against The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin) by submission after Ricochet gets on the apron, distracting MVP as he goes for the Playmaker on Joe only for Joe to counter with a Coaquina Clutch to win and retain. After the match, Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) show up, and The Hurt Syndicate chases them and Ricochet up the ramp before Tony Schiavone interviews Samoa Joe in the ring. Joe says it is a pleasure to be in San Antonio, Texas, mostly because of the women, then says that as long as he is on Planet Earth, he will go after champions and show that they are not the best. Joe then tells "Hangman" Adam Page that he will slap his cowboy ass and make him his bitch just like how every other team has made every sports team in San Antonio their bitch. He says that The Opps stand in opposition to everyone and are never lacking.

We see footage from earlier to day of Mercedes Moné in a vintage roofless limousine while attractive men holding her titles walk alongside the vehicle.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Kris Statlander, who appreciates her history with "Timeless" Toni Storm before mentioning that she has beaten Toni Storm twice and has won the AEW Women's World title, unlike Mercedes Moné. Statlander proclaims that she will take the world title to new heights and take her along for the ride when she defends her title against her at Full Gear.

Darby Allin heads to the ring. Darby lays his AEW flag on the mat and says that he was once viewed as irresponsible, but now he has proven that he is willing to die for AEW after climbing Mount Everest. He says that he was never going to quit against Jon Moxley and that he is wearing the scars today, then says that The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, Marina Shafir) are not just going to go away and that as long as they are breathing, he will not be far behind.

We hear from Jurassic Express ("Jungle" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus). "Jungle" Jack Perry says that they have beaten the greatest tag team of a generation and one of the greatest tag teams of all time, and that they are now going to reclaim everything that they lost. He says that they are going to take it all back, including the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata beat the team of Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford, Triangle of Madness (Julia Hart and Skye Blue), and the team of Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale in a four-way tag team match to earn the right to pick their first round opponents in the Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament. After the match, Hayter chooses Julia Hart and Skye Blue as her and Queen Aminata's first round opponents.

Backstage, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) are trying to speak with Tony Khan when Renee Paquette shows up. Nick says they are broke and that they are trying to get another money match and will team with or fight against anyone, then Tony Khan answers. Tony Khan makes a $400K eight-man tag match between the team of JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight) and Jurassic Express ("Jungle" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) vs. the team of The Young Bucks and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), the last of whom shows up with Stokely Hathaway, who hands Nick a $1 bill, stating the Bucks need it more than them.

Renee Paquette is in the ring to introduce Mercedes Moné, who is not only the longest-reigning TBS Champion in history, but is now the holder of twelve women's championships. When Mercedes is about to show up, Mini Moné shows up in the ring instead. As Mini Moné celebrates in the middle of the ring, the real Mercedes shows up and tells the attractive men on the ramp to get to the back. Mercedes then enters the ring and tells Renee to leave the ring - which she does - before confronting Harley Cameron and Mini Moné for what she calls a mockery of everything she has done for women's wrestling before being mocked by Mini Moné. Mercedes calls Harley Cameron - who is under the table with her hand in Mini Moné - and Mini Moné piy and says they are both desperate for attention when tonight is about her, and says that while she will be talked about fo years to come, the fans still want to mock her. Mercedes says she is tired of the disrespect, then shoves Mini Moné into the cake in the ring. Harley pops up from behind the table, but as Mercedes Moné grabs Harley, Kris Statlander shows up and slams Mercedes into the cake and through the table.

In footage from WrestleDream, Jon Moxley says he did not deliver on what he promised and that tonight, Darby Allin's strength was the deciding factor. He says that one day, it will be Darby's downfall. Moxley says that tomorrow, the sun rises again, and The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, Marina Shafir) go back to work. He says their only competition is themselves and that nobody does what he does and nobody sets the standard that they set. Moxley says that he still knows who he is when he looks in the mirror.

Kyle O'Reilly beats Jon Moxley by disqualification after Moxley punches out referee Paul Turner as O'Reilly has him in the ankle lock. This causes officials to get in the ring to check on Paul Turner, disqualify Moxley, and break up a brawl when The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong) and The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia) all show up at once.

The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong) beat The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia) After the match, both The Conglomeration (Briscoe, Cassidy, Strong, Kyle O'Reilly, Tomohiro Ishii) and The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio, Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, Marina Shafir) brawl, and Marina Shafir hits Tomohiro Ishii with a low blow after Jon Moxley distracts Ishii. Claudio almost hits Orange with a military press slam, but Darby Allin shows up and smacks Claudio in the back of the knee with a baseball bat. A freed Orange hits Claudio with the Orange Punch, and The Death Riders (Moxley, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia, PAC, Shafir) retreat.

Backstage, Alicia Atout is interrupted by a furious Mercedes Moné, who is still covered in cake. Athena shows up and says that they are both here to make history, and that it is time to do it again as AEW Women's World Tag Team Champions. Mercedes says she likes the sound of that, then Athena carries Mercedes away to clean her up and put her through minion training.

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis head to the ring. Fletcher announces that he has defended the TNT Championship six times and six month and recently retained against Mark Briscoe, who he is now 3-2 against and now done with. He says that he has Mark Briscoe's number and that he could wrestle him a million more times and beat him a million more times, then proclaims that he will be TNT Champion for a very long time. Mark Briscoe shows up and tells Fletcher he does not have to talk so much all the time, then says he was about to leave after tonight's victory until he heard Fletcher run his mouth and had no choice but to retort. Briscoe says that it does not need to be a million more times and asks Fletcher to give him one more shot. Callis whispers in Fletcher's ear before telling Briscoe that while he is a great wrestler and athlete, he sounds desperate, and it is off-putting. He mentions that Briscoe has ten kids at home and that he does not have a family, but a financial burden, and says that his family supports each other and is not a bunch of "bloodsucking leeches." Callis tells Briscoe that he cannot tell him what he wants to hear, but he can tell him what he needs to hear: no.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Mina Shirakawa. Mina says she has not heard from "Timeless" Toni Storm since last week but knows she is said, but together, they are "The Timeless Love Bombs," and they will fight for the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships. Suddenly, "The Toxic Spider" Thekla shows up and says Mina has not lost everything yet. Mina tells Thekla she has fought her in Japan and challenges her to a match on Collision. Thekla then says Toni will cry when she sees what she does to Mina.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada retains the AEW Unified Championship against Bandido after avoiding the 21-Plex and hitting the Rainmaker. After the match, the rest of The Don Callis Family shows up to celebrate with Okada, with "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita showing up last with his own entrance theme and the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder. Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher have to hold Takeshita back as the show ends.
