Final iMPACT! - iMPACT! recap for October 22, 2026

Daria Rae arrives fresh off her suspension and heads to the ring to start tonight's show. She says that the only thing worse than explaining herself to the fans is watching Indi Hartwell and Director of Authority Santino Marella ruin the show, and says Indi calculated a plan along with Santino to ruin her career. Daria says that she is the greatest authority in TNA history and has taken TNA to heights it has never been to before, then tells the fans to get used to her and says Indi would not be champion if she were here, as she does not deserve it. Daria is interrupted by Indi, who heads to the ring and welcomes Daria back before stating that Daria is still the same jaded, miserable person she was before her suspension. Daria says that Indi's reign as Knockouts World Champion will not last long, as Xia Brookside will be putting her rematch clause to the test right here, right now.

Indi Hartwell retains the TNA Knockouts World Championship against Xia Brookside. After the match, Daria Rae shows up and watches from the stage as Apex ("The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and Zoey Serrano) suddenly shows up and lays out Indi Hartwell before Shayna Baszler holds up the Knockouts World Championship.

Backstage, we hear from Leon Slater, who mentions his first TNA World Championship defense against Trey Miguel, who he has a lot of respect for and similarities with. He knows that Trey is going to lay it all on the line to beat him, then Trey shows up and confronts Slater before it becomes apparent that both men are messing around. As they leave to see Jason Hotch defend his title against Mustafa Ali, Trey mentions that he has had only one shot at the TNA World Championship and does not know when he will get another, and that he will do whatever it takes to win the World title.

Backstage, Xia Brookside is sobbing as she says she had everything she ever wanted and that she does not know who she is anymore. She then finds a white flower in her hands, then leaves her cape on the ground as she leaves.

Cedric Alexander beats Fabian Aichner, KC Navarro and Rich Swann in a four-way match to become #1 contender for the TNA X-Division Championship after Brian Myers and Bear Bronson take out Aichner following Aichner's top rope cross body to the outside, allowing Cedric to hit the top rope moonsault for the win and the title shot. After the match, Amazing Red shows up and has a staredown with Cedric Alexander in the middle of the ring.

Backstage, Tasha Steelz speaks with Special Agent Zero, stating that Order 4 and everything that Mustafa Ali built is gone, and that there is only one thing left to do. She offers her hand, and Zero shakes it. She then dismisses Zero, wishing him luck in the future.

As per the TNA Injury Report: Ricky Sosa is out with a back injury after last week's main event and has left him unable to compete. Trey Miguel has been given the night off to recover after wrestling for 35 minutes in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match before winning last week's ladder match. Jason Hotch is dealing with multiple bumps and bruises from last week's ladder match, yet he is cleared to defend the TNA International Championship against Mustafa Ali in a two-out-of-three falls match tonight.

Backstage, AJ Francis says he is proud of Expressions in his effort against The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) as he says that he should be running TNA, then Mila Moore shows up and laughs at AJ Francis. John Skyler calls AJ Francis a dumbass and says that Mila will laugh even more when he beats him next week. Expressions says that Mila Moore should get with a man like AJ Francis, but Skyler grabs Expressions by the wrist and threatens to break his neck after he is done with Francis next week.

Backstage, Moose and The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) meet with Avery Styles and Frankie Kazarian and wish Avery luck before his TNA iMPACT! debut match.

Backstage, The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, Cedric Alexander) celebrate Cedric Alexander's win tonight. When Eddie Edwards shows up, Brian Myers wants to know where Eddie's head is at. Eddie says that Ricky Sosa is one of the best in the world and deserved the handshake, then leaves.

Before the next match, Joe Alonzo - now wearing an entrance robe - welcomes everyone to "Total Nonstop Alonzo" before stating that the fans do not clean up after themselves and will not need to after "Average Styles" finally pays his dues. He says he will make Avery Styles clean up after the fans before breaking down the ring and the guardrails and put away the chairs.

Avery Styles beats Joe Alonzo in his TNA iMPACT! debut.

Backstage, we hear from The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance, M by Elegance, Mr. Elegance). M says they are entering a new era, and since Ash by Elegance is still not back, she is declaring herself the new leader. She also announces that she is going to be on the cover of a brand new magazine when Elayna Black shows up and says M has all the time in the world for this but not five more minutes to be a real champion. M says that she has no time for Elayna, then Jada Stone shows up and says he was at less than 100% against M and that she will go through anybody to get through the Knockouts Television title. M then says she wants to face Jada next just to spite Elayna, then says she will talk to Daria Rae right now. After The Elegance Brand leaves, Jada says that if she wins, she will give Elayna the first shot.

Backstage, Director of Authority Santino Marella announces that there will be two Ultimate X matches at Destination X: one for the men and the X-Division Championship and one for the Knockouts and the Knockouts World Championship. He also announces that the World X-Cup will come back at Destination X with the winner decided with two four-way matches and a finals match between the winners of each match. Daria Rae then shows up, shakes her head, then leaves.

Allie and Kiera Hogan head to the ring. Allie admits Bound For Glory did not go the way they were hoping for after they lost the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships, and while nobody is more disappointed than she is, she and Kiera will not feel sorry for themselves. Allie demands a rematch for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships and says they will come back better, stronger and for the titles. Kiera snatches the microphone from Allie and asks "Are you finished?" Kiera says she is tired of hearing Allie talk and seeing Allie walk around with a smile, then blames Allie for losing the titles. She says she was happy to be back in TNA, but she was tired of someone smiling in her face while she carried the weight. She says that she can see why Rosemary is in the sanitarium and that Allie is soft and weak. She says she came back to be a champion, not to babysit Allie, and that the two of them are done. She then says that if Allie wants it, she can get it. All of a sudden, Allie is attacked from out of nowhere by Tasha Steelz, cementing the return of Fire 'n Flava as Kiara and Steelz lay Allie out. Suddenly, the lights go out. When they come back on, Shotzi Blackheart suddenly shows up and takes out Fire 'n Flava, sending them into a retreat.

Backstage, Harley Hudson meet with The Righteous. Vincent says that the wheels are spinning in a circle and that not only is everyone sick of it, but that Harley needs to make a decision if she is righteous or not. Dutch says they need an answer next week.

In a TNA Digital Exclusive, Elijah attacks "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth backstage only for security to intervene. We then hear from Elijah, who says that Nic Nemeth cost him a shot at the TNA World Championship and that he will reap what he has sown. He says that Nic Nemeth will regret ever learning his name, then "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth shows up to plug his new movie "Stranglehold" before telling Elijah that Nic will kick his ass. Elijah says he will have to kick both Nic and Ryan's asses.

Jason Hotch retains the TNA International Championship against Mustafa Ali two falls to one (2-1) in a two-out-of-three falls match. Mustafa Ali scores the first fall on a schoolkid pin. Jason Hotch scores the second fall after Mustafa Ali hits him with the TNA International Championship in full view of the referee. Jason Hotch scores the third and deciding fall after avoiding two top rope 450 splashes and hitting a GTS to win and retain. After the match, Daria Rae places the TNA International Championship around Hotch's waist, then Leon Slater shows up and congratulates Hotch and mentions how it all started, then says that Hotch's chapter with Mustafa Ali is closed. Slater then tells Hotch that someday is now and that the world is theirs.

We hear from Syx (Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw), who say that they are not satisfied until The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) die, and dare The Hardys to step into their world next week.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for October 22, 2025

In backstage footage from WrestleDream, "Hangman" Adam Page tells Samoa Joe that he warned him and that when he finds him, he will ruin "[his] goddamn life."

The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) retain the AEW World Trios Championships against The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin) by submission after Ricochet gets on the apron, distracting MVP as he goes for the Playmaker on Joe only for Joe to counter with a Coaquina Clutch to win and retain. After the match, Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) show up, and The Hurt Syndicate chases them and Ricochet up the ramp before Tony Schiavone interviews Samoa Joe in the ring. Joe says it is a pleasure to be in San Antonio, Texas, mostly because of the women, then says that as long as he is on Planet Earth, he will go after champions and show that they are not the best. Joe then tells "Hangman" Adam Page that he will slap his cowboy ass and make him his bitch just like how every other team has made every sports team in San Antonio their bitch. He says that The Opps stand in opposition to everyone and are never lacking.

We see footage from earlier to day of Mercedes Moné in a vintage roofless limousine while attractive men holding her titles walk alongside the vehicle.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Kris Statlander, who appreciates her history with "Timeless" Toni Storm before mentioning that she has beaten Toni Storm twice and has won the AEW Women's World title, unlike Mercedes Moné. Statlander proclaims that she will take the world title to new heights and take her along for the ride when she defends her title against her at Full Gear.

Darby Allin heads to the ring. Darby lays his AEW flag on the mat and says that he was once viewed as irresponsible, but now he has proven that he is willing to die for AEW after climbing Mount Everest. He says that he was never going to quit against Jon Moxley and that he is wearing the scars today, then says that The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, Marina Shafir) are not just going to go away and that as long as they are breathing, he will not be far behind.

We hear from Jurassic Express ("Jungle" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus). "Jungle" Jack Perry says that they have beaten the greatest tag team of a generation and one of the greatest tag teams of all time, and that they are now going to reclaim everything that they lost. He says that they are going to take it all back, including the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata beat the team of Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford, Triangle of Madness (Julia Hart and Skye Blue), and the team of Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale in a four-way tag team match to earn the right to pick their first round opponents in the Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament. After the match, Hayter chooses Julia Hart and Skye Blue as her and Queen Aminata's first round opponents.

Backstage, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) are trying to speak with Tony Khan when Renee Paquette shows up. Nick says they are broke and that they are trying to get another money match and will team with or fight against anyone, then Tony Khan answers. Tony Khan makes a $400K eight-man tag match between the team of JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight) and Jurassic Express ("Jungle" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) vs. the team of The Young Bucks and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), the last of whom shows up with Stokely Hathaway, who hands Nick a $1 bill, stating the Bucks need it more than them.

Renee Paquette is in the ring to introduce Mercedes Moné, who is not only the longest-reigning TBS Champion in history, but is now the holder of twelve women's championships. When Mercedes is about to show up, Mini Moné shows up in the ring instead. As Mini Moné celebrates in the middle of the ring, the real Mercedes shows up and tells the attractive men on the ramp to get to the back. Mercedes then enters the ring and tells Renee to leave the ring - which she does - before confronting Harley Cameron and Mini Moné for what she calls a mockery of everything she has done for women's wrestling before being mocked by Mini Moné. Mercedes calls Harley Cameron - who is under the table with her hand in Mini Moné - and Mini Moné piy and says they are both desperate for attention when tonight is about her, and says that while she will be talked about fo years to come, the fans still want to mock her. Mercedes says she is tired of the disrespect, then shoves Mini Moné into the cake in the ring. Harley pops up from behind the table, but as Mercedes Moné grabs Harley, Kris Statlander shows up and slams Mercedes into the cake and through the table.

In footage from WrestleDream, Jon Moxley says he did not deliver on what he promised and that tonight, Darby Allin's strength was the deciding factor. He says that one day, it will be Darby's downfall. Moxley says that tomorrow, the sun rises again, and The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, Marina Shafir) go back to work. He says their only competition is themselves and that nobody does what he does and nobody sets the standard that they set. Moxley says that he still knows who he is when he looks in the mirror.

Kyle O'Reilly beats Jon Moxley by disqualification after Moxley punches out referee Paul Turner as O'Reilly has him in the ankle lock. This causes officials to get in the ring to check on Paul Turner, disqualify Moxley, and break up a brawl when The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong) and The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia) all show up at once.

The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong) beat The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia) After the match, both The Conglomeration (Briscoe, Cassidy, Strong, Kyle O'Reilly, Tomohiro Ishii) and The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio, Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, Marina Shafir) brawl, and Marina Shafir hits Tomohiro Ishii with a low blow after Jon Moxley distracts Ishii. Claudio almost hits Orange with a military press slam, but Darby Allin shows up and smacks Claudio in the back of the knee with a baseball bat. A freed Orange hits Claudio with the Orange Punch, and The Death Riders (Moxley, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia, PAC, Shafir) retreat.

Backstage, Alicia Atout is interrupted by a furious Mercedes Moné, who is still covered in cake. Athena shows up and says that they are both here to make history, and that it is time to do it again as AEW Women's World Tag Team Champions. Mercedes says she likes the sound of that, then Athena carries Mercedes away to clean her up and put her through minion training.

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis head to the ring. Fletcher announces that he has defended the TNT Championship six times and six month and recently retained against Mark Briscoe, who he is now 3-2 against and now done with. He says that he has Mark Briscoe's number and that he could wrestle him a million more times and beat him a million more times, then proclaims that he will be TNT Champion for a very long time. Mark Briscoe shows up and tells Fletcher he does not have to talk so much all the time, then says he was about to leave after tonight's victory until he heard Fletcher run his mouth and had no choice but to retort. Briscoe says that it does not need to be a million more times and asks Fletcher to give him one more shot. Callis whispers in Fletcher's ear before telling Briscoe that while he is a great wrestler and athlete, he sounds desperate, and it is off-putting. He mentions that Briscoe has ten kids at home and that he does not have a family, but a financial burden, and says that his family supports each other and is not a bunch of "bloodsucking leeches." Callis tells Briscoe that he cannot tell him what he wants to hear, but he can tell him what he needs to hear: no.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Mina Shirakawa. Mina says she has not heard from "Timeless" Toni Storm since last week but knows she is said, but together, they are "The Timeless Love Bombs," and they will fight for the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships. Suddenly, "The Toxic Spider" Thekla shows up and says Mina has not lost everything yet. Mina tells Thekla she has fought her in Japan and challenges her to a match on Collision. Thekla then says Toni will cry when she sees what she does to Mina.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada retains the AEW Unified Championship against Bandido after avoiding the 21-Plex and hitting the Rainmaker. After the match, the rest of The Don Callis Family shows up to celebrate with Okada, with "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita showing up last with his own entrance theme and the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder. Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher have to hold Takeshita back as the show ends.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for October 22, 2024

The Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) beat Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane) by disqualification after Piper Niven pulls Jakara Jackson out of the ring. After the match, Chelsea Green shows up and starts fighting both teams along with Piper, and the two of them end up cleaning house.

In backstage footage from earlier today via Instagram, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger make some noise for Cole Custer, who arrives in a truck. All of a sudden, OTM (Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, Jaida Parker) show up and take offense to Custer being at NXT, and this leads to a tag team challenge.

Backstage, Brinely Reece, Sol Ruca and Karmen Petrovic are met by Ashante "Thee" Adonis as they are working out. Adonis thinks he and Karmen have a connection, but Karmen says she was repaying the favor for costing her a match and tells him not to assume. Sol Ruca says Karmen is not interested, but Adonis says "We'll see," and leaves. Afterwards, Sol Ruca and Brinley believe there is chemistry between them, but Karmen denies it.

Jaida Parker beats Tatum Paxley. After the match, referees and security are seen keeping Lola Vice away from Jaida Parker, and Wendy Choo grabs Tatum Paxley from behind before shoving her into a road case.

Backstage, Lexis King thanks Charlie Dempsey, but says people still do not believe he is trying to be a gentleman as he wants people to stop seeing him as a loose cannon. He says that he needs to win the Heritage Cup to see if he can get some respect, and while Dempsey is willing to give him that match, he tells Lexis he will not like the outcome. Wren Sinclair also tells Lexis King that he will need a cornerman for the match.

Backstage, Cedric Alexander and Je'Von Evans are met by Nathan Frazer and Axiom. When Nathan Frazer tells Je'Von Evans that he has time to become a champion, Je'Von takes this as a dig on his age and slaps him. Wes Lee, who has seen this, says that he has been where Je'Von is right now, then jokingly says he still has time, which irritates Je'Von.

We see a video package for Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia, where Vaquer talks about she has travelled the world and collected championships all over on her way to WWE while Giulia talks about how she became friends with Vaquer prior to entering NXT.

Backstage, it is revealed that Adrianna Rizzo has been attacked.

Oba Femi beats Luca Crusifino. After the match, Oba throws Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo out of the ring when he checks on Crusifino, then continues to attack Crusifino. Stacks soon fights back, but Oba still overpowers him. Oba pulls a toolbox and a table out from underneath the ring, but Tony D'Angelo shows up and brawls with him, and he too gets overpowered. Oba then pulls out some zipties and ties D'Angelo to the ring post. Stacks gets back to his feet, but Oba choke slams him through the table. Oba then clears off the announce table and pulls a ladder out from underneath the ring before placing it on both the apron and the announce table. From there, Oba powerbombs Crusifino through the ladder, smashing it in half as D'Angelo can only watch.

We see the woman who made it to the skyscraper last week. We then see the NXT Halloween Havoc logo on a brick wall, which she punches. We then see the name "Zaria."

We see a video package where Andre Chase talks about what Chase University is all about, then says Ridge Holland came back to NXT for redemption and got it through Chase University only for him to betray them. He says that the measure of a man comes in defeat and that Ridge Holland cannot be helped, then says he will make Ridge feel the pain he felt and he will put an end to his misery in an ambulance match at Halloween Havoc.

"All Ego" Ethan Page and Trick Williams head to the ring individually for a face-to-face meeting before Halloween Havoc. Trick says that he should have come to the ring and dropped Ethan like a mixtape, but she promised General Manager Ava no physicality until Sunday. He then says Ethan is "all ego" and also "all desperate." Ethan says he wanted Trick to think that, as he has been in the game for over seventeen years, but when he talks about his career, he often glosses over everything he had to go through to get here. He then says he and Trick have different paths, as he never had a Performance Center to cater to him and prepare him for a position in the top company, and that he had to go through hell to get where Trick is at. Trick says they both have their stories, but he will not let Ethan shame him because he is blessed. Ethan says Trick does not get it, and asks him if he had ever been taken to his physical limit and still had to get up and keep fighting. He also asks Trick if he has tasted his own blood enough times to eventually like the taste of it, then Trick says he is glad Ethan is used to it because he will bust him up again on Sunday. Ethan says Trick is "all flash and fake confidence," and that he hit him with a light to give him a taste of the Devil's Playground match, where anything goes and it only benefits him. Ethan says Trick looks nice right now, but he has the devil inside of him and not Trick, and that Trick is "not tough" and not built for the Devil's Playground. Ethan also tells Trick that all of Trick's previous opponents in NXT are not as savage as he is, and that on Sunday, Trick will see a version of him few have seen. Trick says Ethan is all talk and has done everything except beat him even when he was champion. After Trick says Sunday will be no difference, Ethan warns Trick that he is a desperate man and that it took him seventeen years to become a champion in WWE, and after he got a taste, he became addicted, and he will satiate that taste on Sunday. He says that they are entering the Devil's Playground, and for the first time in Trick's career, Trick will be made to go through hell as they play by the Devil's rules, which are also his. Trick says he looks forward to it.

Backstage, Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez talk about how Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer have no chance at Halloween Havoc when Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jasmyn Nyx) show up and agree with them before Jacy states that Kelani Jordan does not deserve to be champion. As Roxanne says the five of them have been the backbone of the NXT women's division, Kelani shows up and says that while that is true, they are stressing because they can feel it slipping through their fingers. When she asks who she will face on Sunday, Fallon says that when one has power, one does not just give it up, and Jacy says that the wheel will decide what their match is tonight.

Sol Ruca beats Karmen Petrovic. During the match, Ashante "Thee" Adonis is seen in the crowd with another woman, and when they leave at the end of the match, Sol Ruca hits a distracted Karmen with a Sol Snatcher.

Backstage, Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe chat with Nikkita Lyons. Tyson says he and Tyriek are waiting for their moment, but Nikkita says they need to take their moment. Oba Femi shows up with Nikkita's robe and tells her she dropped it, then leaves.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger beat OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) after Lola Vice attacks Jaida Parker on the outside and NASCAR driver Cole Custer hits Bronco Nima on the outside as the referee is distracted. After the match, Hank, Tank, Custer and Lola all celebrate in the ring.

Backstage, Nathan Frazer wants a match with Cedric Alexander and Je'Von Evans, much to Axiom's frustration, and gets it next week. Lexis King then shows up after they leave, and is looking for a cornerman, but finds out that nobody can be forced to be his cornerman, much to his disappointment.

We hear from Ridge Holland, who tells Andre Chase that he wore the Chase University colors proudly, then asks Chase how it feels from being in control to having none at all as his university falls apart around him. He then says he can now be the most dangerous man in NXT that everyone expected him to be, then says that Chase University will be finished for good at Halloween Havoc and that Andre Chase will be going for an ambulance ride.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Tony D'Angelo, who admits he does not know what is going on and that it is now personal between him and Oba Femi and that he will use everything to beat Oba Femi's ass at Halloween Havoc. He tells Oba Femi that he should have been careful what he wished for when he wanted him alone, because now he is going to get it.

Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia beat The Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley) after Roxanne Perez shows up to distract Giulia only for Kelani Jordan to show up and beat up Roxanne. After the match, Cora Jade and Roxanne stare down Giulia and Vaquer from the balcony as Kelani Jordan stares down The Fatal Influence (Jacy, Fallon, Jazmyn Nyx) from inside the ring. Jacy Jayne spins the wheel, which lands on Spinner's Choice. Before The Fatal Influence can make their choice, Zaria suddenly shows up.

Halloween Havoc 2022 - The LIVE Results

Backstage, Shotzi spins the wheel for Apollo Crews' and Grayson Waller's match tonight. Their match tonight will be a Casket Match.

We hear from Alba Fyre, who tells Mandy Rose to meet her in a haunted house if she wants to fight with fire. Backstage, Mandy Rose is all too easier to accept her challenge, despite Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne's misgivings.

Wes Lee beats Nathan Frazer, Oro Mensah, Von Wagner and Carmelo Hayes in a five-way ladder match to win the vacant NXT North American Championship!

Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne) show up at the haunted house where Alba Fyre is. Despite protesting, Jacy Jayne is made by Mandy Rose to leave the car. A person dressed as a zombie touches Jayne's shoulder, but Jayne inadvertently punches him. After seeing another zombie with an axe, Toxic Attraction make it to the haunted house. Once they go in, Toxic Attraction split up despite Jacy Jayne's advice not to. When Jacy sees a film being played on a projector, Alba Fyre snakes up on her. Gigi Dolin finds a dinner table with a few residents of the haunted house seated. Alba Fyre sneaks up on her with a basket with a wine bottle in it, and eventually kicks her into a refrigerator where a zombie with an axe is waiting. Meanwhile, Mandy Rose kicks a person dressed like a Druid in the crotch, then finds out that the nearby pipe organ plays on its own. She then runs into Alba Fyre, who hits her with a baseball bat. Someone with a jack-o'-lantern keeps Mandy from attacking her with her own bat, and after Mandy sees a zombie, Alba Fyre lays Mandy out. After putting Mandy in her vehicle, she lays out Gigi and Jacy, says she is not "everybody else," then drives off with Mandy.

Apollo Crews beats Grayson Waller in a Casket Match. During the match, Waller puts Apollo through the casket that was brought in at the start of the match, but the arena lights go out. When they come back on, Apollo Crews is standing with some Druids, who bring in a double-wide, double deep casket that is also more durable.

At Chase University, Andre Chase commends most of his students for their reports on the history of Halloween Havoc. It is then revealed that Duke Hudson is not only a transfer student, but also knowledgeable about Halloween Havoc 1996. Almost immediately, Bodhi Hayward does not trust Hudson, and when he meets with Andre Chase after class, he finds out that Andre Chase does not trust Hudson, either.

Alba Fyre is seen driving around with Mandy Rose in the back.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince). Kit Wilson says they are as tasty as ever, and Elton Prince says Malik Blade and Edris Enofe are lucky to even get the time of day from them. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance show up and tell Pretty Deadly they are far from the greatest tag team of all time, and that they will see who keeps their titles on Tuesday.

Roxanne Perez beats Cora Jade in a Weapons Wild Match following a Pop Rox into a stack of chairs following a fall from the balcony into the table.

We see a visual of what looks like somebody tossing a mask into fire. (It turns out to be T-Bar's old mask from his time in Retribution.)

Shotzi heads to the ring. She said that tonight would be the most blood-curdling, terrifying and horrific night of the year, and so far, there have been ladder, caskets, a haunted house and two women butchering the last remnants of a friendship. As she says there is more to come, she looks for Quincy Elliott. Quincy Ellott is soon seen on a canvas chair dressed like a banana. Shotzi compliments the banana costume, then Lash Legend shows up. Lash Legend says she should be the one co-hosting, but Quincy says Lash was cancelled a long time ago and that she is not as cool as he and Shotzi are, then tells her to go away. Lash says she has a problem with someone from SmackDown hosting the show, and Quincy says that while Lash is tall, athletic and explosive, she sounds horrible on the microphone. Shotzi then tells Quincy she can handle this before laying Lash Legend out.

We hear from The Schism (Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler, Jagger Reid). Joe Gacy says some people wear masks all year long. Rip Fowler says they have tried to get people to join The Schism to remove their masks, but Jagger Reid says people spit in their faces and that they will deliver their message by force. Joe Gacy asked the person in the red hoodie if they are ready to remove their mask, then says that The Schism will spread their message by force and that whatever happens is the fans' fault. He then says The Schisms will be four roots, but one tree.

Julius Creed beats Damon Kemp in a chaotic Ambulance Match. (Had Damon Kemp won, Brutus Creed would have been forced to leave NXT.)

As the ambulance carries Damon Kemp out of the arena, Alba Fyre and Mandy Rose return to the arena and fight their way back to the ring.

Mandy Rose retains the NXT Women's Championship against Alba Fyre. During the match, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne pull the referee out of the ring during a pinfall attempt. Alba superkicks Jacy into Gigi, but Jacy also falls onto the referee. She then hits Mandy with the Gory Bomb, but there is no referee in the ring. As Alba gets the referee in the ring, Gigi and Jacy attack Alba Fyre, and Mandy Rose nails Alba Fyre in the face with a knee to retain.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons. Zoey says she never thought she would compete again a year ago, but now she and Nikkita have an opportunity and they need to kick the door open. As Nikkita says that winning gold has been the main focus and that she and Zoey will become tag team champions, Malik Blade and Edris Enofe show up and says that they too will become tag team champions next week.

Bron Breakker retains the NXT Championship against Ilja Dragunov and JD McDonagh in a Triple Threat Match.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for October 22, 2022

Brad Skimahorn shows up with a birthday cake for Dustin Starr as Dustin interviews him at the announce desk. Shortly afterwards, however, "Remarkable" Ryan Rembrandt shows up. He says that Memphis is fat enough as it is and that people are showing up with more "fat people food" and that Dustin Starr looks even worse than Brad Skimahorn as they are in "a great state of obesity." Brad Skimahorn challenges Rembrandt to a match. Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 22, 2018

Roman Reigns shows up to start tonight's show. Roman feels like he owes everyone an apology, as for months - maybe even a year - he said we would be a consistent workhorse and fighting champion, but is has all been lies. He says the reality is that is real name is Joe and he has been living with leukemia for 11 years. Unfortunately, it has come back, and because it is back, he cannot be the fighting champion he is promising to be and he must relinquish the WWE Universal Championship. While he will accept the fans' prayers, he is not looking for sympathy, as he has had this since he was 22 years old and was quickly able to put it in remission. But during that time, he had no money or job, football was done with him, and he had a kid on the way. He calls WWE "the team that gave [him] the chance," and when he made it on the main roster, he was put in front of the fans, and the fans have made his dreams come true. He thanks the wrestling fans, both fans and haters, for reacting to him, and thanks them all. The crowd chants "Thank you, Roman!", then Roman says life is not always fair and it throws a curveball at times. He says he needs to head home and focus on his health, but he makes it clear this is not a retirement speech. He also says that when is done "whipping leukemia's ass," it won't be about winning matches and titles, it will be about showing the world that when life throws curveball at him, he stands in the batter's box and swings for the fences every single time. He says he will be back "very, very soon," then thanks the fans one more time before leaving. He then lays the WWE Universal Championship in the middle of the ring as the crowd chants "Thank you, Roman!" one more time. As Roman leaves, he is joined by Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, and all three men share a hug on the stage. (This promo explains why Roman Reigns has missed this weekend's house shows.)

Finn Balor beats Bobby Lashley with a surprise schoolboy pin.

Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre talk backstage. Dolph thanks Drew for having his back, and Drew says he saw the writing on the wall when it came to Braun Strowman. Dolph says they have a tag team title match, and that he has a chance to prove he is the best in the world at Crown Jewel. Drew says Strowman needed them more than they needed him, and after tonight, they won't have to worry about him. Drew leaves, then Dolph asks him where he is going. Drew comes back and tells him "Monster hunting."

We hear from Nia Jax, who says that Evolution will prove that women can do anything. She plans to get another opportunity at the Raw Women's Championship at the battle royal on Sunday, and she refuses to squander it.

D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) show up. Triple H says there have been a lot of big words being thrown around, such as "fear" of Triple H taking off the corporate suit and Shawn stepping out of retirement, but says it will take a lot more than stepping into a boiler room and making idle threats to instill fear. Shawn says neither of them are running, and says another word being thrown around is "nostalgia," which he calls "a real blind way of saying 'old.'" Triple H says that nostalgia-wise, Halloween is the #1 movie again after 40 years, and that they were able to pack an arena in Melbourne, Australia. He says that "old" is probably "a polite way of saying 'we're better.'" Triple H then says that he and Shawn have been "running the X" for 22 years, and that the X proved they were better than everybody else. He says that X may be in the past, but there is another X that speaks to the future, and Shawn says they're running that, too. That leads to an "NXT" chant from the crowd. Triple H tells Kane and The Undertaker that when they bring the X to Crown Jewel, they are coming to kick their ass. Before he and Shawn can finish speaking, however, the lights flicker in and out before The Undertaker shows up. The TitanTron shows a cemetery, then Kane and The Undertaker are seen. They says that pride goes before arrogance, and arrogance before a fall. The Undertaker says DX's arrogance will be the vessel of their downfall. They tell DX to bring everything they've got, as they will do the same. Kane tells Triple H and Shawn that they should have stayed away, and The Undertaker says they cannot outrun the reaper of survive them. We then see tombstones made for Triple H and Shawn, and The Undertaker tells them that their first match against them will be their last match against anybody once they own their black and blistered souls for all eternity. Heyman says his thoughts and prayers are with Roman Reigns, and that it is humbling among the locker room tonight and to have been in the presence of such courage and greatness. He says that when he goes home tonight to explain this to his kids, he wants them to know what was witnessed was not only courage, but sacrifice, as Roman sacrificed his career ambitions because the title deserves the best it has to offer. He says that the fans have the right to point and say someone is the best that the business has to offer, and until five minutes after the show started, we had the right to do just that. He then says that Roman would want the show to go on, and at Crown Jewel, Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar will battle to say they are the one worthy of being the champion before saying it is not Strowman. He says only one person is worthy of being champion, and that person is Brock Lesnar. Heyman says Strowman can say whatever he wants and bill himself as a monster, but Lesnar is a beast and Strowman is not in Lesnar's league, category or stratosphere. Strowman shows up, and says the only words that should be coming out of Heyman's mouth is about him beating Lesnar's ass at Crown Jewel, taking back the Universal title and bringing it every week. He also says that when he wins, Roman Reigns - whom he has had differences with for years - will be first in line for a title opportunity. After he says that Lesnar will get these hands, he is suddenly Claymored out of nowhere by Drew McIntyre.

Backstage, Dolph Ziggler gives kudos to Drew McIntyre on his attack on Braun Strowman, then Charly Caruso interviews them. Drew says half the people aren't willing to do what it takes to get the job done. He says that he is willing to do that, and says that Braun Strowman received a swift kick of reality and will soon realize that he needed them. He says they can now focus on what matters: defending the Raw tag team championships.

Elias is in the ring. He plays on his guitar, introduces himself, tells the fans they are blessed, and asks who wants to walk with him. He says the fans are almost there, but they are not ready yet.
