Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for October 22, 2022

Brad Skimahorn shows up with a birthday cake for Dustin Starr as Dustin interviews him at the announce desk. Shortly afterwards, however, "Remarkable" Ryan Rembrandt shows up. He says that Memphis is fat enough as it is and that people are showing up with more "fat people food" and that Dustin Starr looks even worse than Brad Skimahorn as they are in "a great state of obesity." Brad Skimahorn challenges Rembrandt to a match. After Rembrandt tells Brad Skimahorn he will get "a remarkable butt kicking" tonight and leaves, Brad Skimahorn has everyone wish Dustin a happy birthday.

Backstage, we hear from "The True American" Trace Lee Hunt and the mystery woman who interfered against Jason Genesis and Goddess in Hunt's recent match against Genesis, who says that Goddess found out who Maddie the American Baddie - th is and that the Book of Genesis is a few chapters short. Maddie says Goddess makes girls like her look bad and that Hunt and Jason Genesis will stay one-on-one or else Goddess will find out why she is "the top bae in the USA."

Van Viciouss beats "The Best of the Best" Austin Lane. During the match, "Casanova" Colton Cage gets in the ring as Austin Lane has Van Viciouss in a crossface, and Big Jack and Money Mark show up so that Big Jack can attack Austin Lane and hit him with a Death Valley Driver, allowing Van Viciouss to get the win. After the match, Matt Williams shows up and gives Money Mark a wad of money.

"Remarkable" Ryan Rembrandt beats Brad Skimahorn after throwing a chain across the ring, allowing him to rake Brad Skimahorn in the eyes as the referee is putting the chain away and get the win.

Derrick King beats "Casanova" Colton Cage by disqualification when Van Viciouss grabs Derrick King by the foot and the referee sees it. Colton Cage gets a superkick afterwards, as does Van Viciouss. After the match, Viciouss and Colton Cage attack Derrick King, but Ray Sanders shows up and nearly punches both men out before he and Derrick send them running. After the commercial break, Dustin Starr interviews King and Sanders. King says The Hollywood Clique has been running roughshod, but there is a new tag team forming and that they will take care of everything "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock stood for.

Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship against "Mr. All Day" Will Allday and "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese in a Triple Threat Match.
