Nikkita says the better team will win next week, and Kayden says it will be her and Katana.

Julius Creed and Damon Kemp are interviewed. Julius says pressure is a privilege and that his brother's career is on the line. He says that he is Brutus' protector and that he will use his nerve to crush Damon. He also says that nothing Damon Kemp says matters because he is at peace with what he is going to do with him. Damon Kemp chalks everything up to jealousy, but Julius Creed calls Damon an entitled clout chaser who does not want to put in the work. Damon Kemp says that this is not a regular match and that one has to shut the door on the other, but Julius says it is time for Damon to come to grips that he is better than him and that he is not even the best athlete in his family. Damon asks Julius what his excuse will be when he loses and that everyone knew he was better than everyone in Diamond Mine. After Julius says he will prove it on Saturday, Julius says he will feel no emotion when he shuts the ambulance door on him. Damon tells Julius Brutus Creed will be standing in the unemployment line and looking a job.

It is revealed that Shotzi will be hosting Halloween Havoc again this year. Shotzi says that if there is one Superstar that screams "Halloween," it would be her. She talks about how she hosted Halloween Havoc in 2020 and how it was one of the most bad-ass days of her life, and this year, she plans to go even more "balls to the wall" as she gets the final piece of her costume when she and Raquel win the WWE Women's Tag Team titles. Shotzi says that after that, she will make this year's Halloween Havoc the most terrifying extravaganza in NXT history, then Xyon Quinn suddenly shows up. Xyon Quinn welcomes Shotzi back to NXT, then offers to be her co-host to make it "box office," even offering to free up his time in order to do it. Suddenly, "The SuperDiva" Quincy Elliott shows up. Quincy says he is a big fan of Shotzi and says she is "a ballsy girl who is not afraid to step on no toes," then says that as much as he would like to see Xyon Quinn in a Halloween costume, Shotzi needs a real Halloween scream queen like him. Shotzi proposes that since both men are about to have a match right now, the winner gets co-hosting duties. Quincy then gets the jump on Xyon Quinn and clotheslines him out of the ring. Shotzi then guests on commentary for the next match.

"The SuperDiva" Quincy Elliott beats Xyon Quinn to become co-host of Halloween Havoc after Hank Walker keeps Xyon Quinn from running away from the match.

At Chase University, Thea Hail is disappointed with her lack of winning as of late, but Bodhi Hayward says Andre Chase can get her another match with Kiana James. Andrew Chase then talks about the history of Halloween Havoc. He not only mentions some of the event's greatest moments as well as its worst, then makes watching Halloween Havoc this weekend's homework before Chucky shows up and interrupts the lecture. When Bodhi chews Chucky out, Chucky threatens to do unspeakable things to him. The segment ends with Thea Hail saying "What the fuck?"

We see a contract signing between Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) and the team of Malik Blade and Edris Enofe for the NXT Tag Team Championships. Backstage, everyone tunes in to watch The Kevin Owens Show. Josh Briggs and Briggs Jensen have a drinking game for the segment, and Sol Ruca shows up walking on her hands.

It's time for The Kevin Owens Show. Tonight's guests are Bron Breakker, JD McDonagh and Ilja Dragunov. Owens says that he got a call from "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels asking him to host his show tonight concerning the men in this Saturday's NXT Championship match, and says he could not turn it down after growing up watching Shawn Michaels. Owens also says that he is here to keep order, and says that he does not like his odds due to "JD McDon't Google Me" being "a creepy weirdo" who likes to stir the pot. He also says that he needs a shower after looking at JD McDonagh. McDonagh says that Owens can call him whatever he wants because he will be called NXT Champion, then says that he has been on his best behavior while Dragunov and Bron Breakker have put their hands on each other and arguing over who is stronger. After McDonagh says that he is aiming for the NXT title, Ilja Dragunov says that while he was aiming for him, hitting Bron Breakker was not a mistake because he left his gasping for air and made him mortal as he exposed a chink in his armor. He says that the bullet was meant for him at Worlds Collide, and at Halloween Havoc, he will take the title that should have been his in the first place. Breakker says it will be over his dead body, and while he felt that Torpedo Moscow, nothing was able to keep Dragunov down until he Speared him. He says it is unfortunate he had to vacate the NXT UK Championship, but as long as he breathes, the title is his. Owens says he appreciates the intensity between Breakker and Dragunov, but he also sees what is going on and that McDonagh is trying to get to the point where they tear each other apart so he can waltz in and easily win the title. He says they cannot let that happen, as nobody - not even McDonagh's mother, whom Owens says is creeped out by him - wants McDonagh as NXT Champion. McDonagh says he need no one's approval or a friend, and that it takes one Devil Inside for him to take the title. He then says that while Dragunov drove him out of NXT UK, Dragunov will never recover from the mental anguish of him taking the title. Dragunov says that no matter where they are, McDonagh will always be a contender but never a champion, but Breakker tells Dragunov that he will make the same thing true about him. Dragunov reminds Breakker that he lost the last Triple Threat Match for the NXT Championship that he was in and dares Breakker to put him in that category. Owens leaves, then Dragunov and Breakker brawl while McDonagh watches from afar and security rushes in. McDonagh goes for a cheap shot when Dragunov puts Breakker down, but Dragunov headbutts him and hits him with the Torpedo Moscow. As Dragunov lifts up the NXT Championship, Austin Theory shows up.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
