Backstage, Megan Morant interviews The Miz. Miz says he is here after what happened last week, and as he continues to address Dexter Lumis, he suddenly notices the Philadelphia Flyers mascot, Gritty. Gritty shows off his exclusive Extreme Rules shirt, which Miz throws down and stomps on before telling him that this is what he thinks of his city. Miz leaves, then Gritty throws his shirt at him.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey beats Liv Morgan with a modified bicep crusher to become a two-time WWE SmackDown Women's Champion in an Extreme Rules Match. After the match, Liv Morgan is seen smiling.

Karrion Kross beats Drew McIntyre in a strap match after Scarlett stands in the way of the Claymore Kick and sprays pepper spray into McIntyre's eyes.

Backstage, The Miz calls Maryse. Miz tells Maryse that he will do whatever it takes to make sure that nothing goes wrong during his birthday celebration, then Gritty shows up and mocks Miz talking on his cellphone.

Bianca Belair retains the WWE Raw Women's Championship against Bayley in a Ladder Match despite interference by Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai.

Finn Balor beats Edge in an "I Quit" Match after The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley) hold down Edge and Rhea Ripley threatens to hit Beth Phoenix - who rescues Edge from being handcuffed on the top rope during the match - with the Con-Chair-To. Edge quits, but Rhea hits Beth with the Con-Chair-To anyway.

Backstage, The Miz is about to meet with Triple H regarding his birthday celebration when Gritty hands Miz his shirt. The Miz beats Gritty up, then Dexter Lumis shows up right behind him. Lumis grabs Miz and chokes him out with Silence, then helps Gritty up. Gritty kicks Miz in the gut before he and Dexter Lumis leave.

Bron Breakker is seen in the crowd before the next match.

Matt Riddle beats Seth "Freakin'" Rollins in a Fight Pit Match with a triangle hold. After the match, the arena goes dark, then "He's Got The Whole World In His Hand" is heard. Life-size Firefly Fun House characters are seen in the crowd, and a Fiend mask is seen on the announce table. The Fiend is seen last, then we see a wooden door. Above the door is an abandoned Firefly Fun House. The Firefly Fun House is warped, and the TV shows a static image of a mask saying "Who killed the world? You did." Light and smoke then comes out of the wooden door, which breaks open. Suddenly, a man in a mask with a lantern comes out. He removes his mask to reveal that he is Bray Wyatt. He says "I'm here," then we see an upside-down picture of a moth with a human skull after he blows on the lantern.
