Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for October 29, 2022

The show begins with footage of Mads Krugger dragging a wooden casket to the WrestleCenter.

Dustin Starr interviews Brad Skimahorn and Uncle Mikey at the announce desk. Brad Skimahorn says that Uncle Mikey will not win matches if he does not focus on wrestling, and Mikey says that they will not win the costume contest if he is not dressed as Baby Shark. The Hot Shots (Ethan Ross, Brandon Savage, Coach Justin Klein) show up, and Coach Klein says both of them look embarrassing and that they are embarrassed to be in the same ring as them. This leads to a match.

The Skimahorns (Brad Skimahorn and Uncle Mikey) beat The Hot Shots (Ethan Ross and Brandon Savage) after The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) show up dressed up as The Hot Shots and swinging golf clubs, distracting the real Hot Shots and giving Uncle Mikey the pin and the win. After the match, Mads Krugger - now going by the name Mads "Kruel" Krugger - shows up with a wooden casket, The Skimahorns try to fight him but get overpowered fairly quickly. Both Brad Skimahorn and Uncle Mikey then get choke slammed. Kruel then says that before the day is over, somebody will be placed in the wooden casket and the lid will be closed on their life forever.

We hear from "Remarkable" Ryan Rembrandt, who tells everyone to give up the Halloween candy on Halloween and to have a nice, healthy Halloween instead.

We see some of the fans in costume for today's show.

The Golden Savages (Gio Savage and Cassandra Golden) beat Jennifer Justice and Martin, the latter of whom comes out as Precious for this match, in a mixed tag match.

Dustin Starr interviews The Hollywood Clique, which includes a now-unsuspended "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock dressed as Paul Bearer while Van Viciouss and Colton Cage are dressed as The Undertaker and Kane, respectively. Blaylock says there is a lot of evil in Memphis Wrestling and that everyone except the Clique is evil, and that he was suspended for no reason at all. He then calls Dustin Starr a troublemaker and says he hates everyone but loves the Hollywood Clique. After saying the Clique is the hottest thing going today, Van Viciouss tells Derrick King and Ray Sanders to rest in peace. Blaylock then tells everyone to give the Clique respect before telling Dustin Starr that he has no idea how much he messed up. It is then announced that The Hollywood Clique are in the forthcoming Memphis Trios Tournament.

We see the bracket for the Memphis Trios Tournament.

Next week: The Starrs of Tomorrow!

Dustin Starr interviews Matt Williams, Money Mark and Big Jack at the announce desk. Dustin Starr interviews Matt Williams, Money Mark and Big Jack at the announce desk. He says that Austin Lane was not a true friend, as he hogged the spotlight, and that he will prove that "Memphis Wrestling is Matt Williams." He then says his match will be fair and down the middle. Money Mark then threatens to sue Dustin Starr for "stealing Matt Williams' logo" before saying Halloween is his favorite holiday because they are giving out jawbreakers.

Matt Williams beats Ray Collins after Money Mark gets on the apron and Big Jack knees Collins in the face following a Sunset Flip from Ray Collins.

Warwolf vs. Gangrel ends in a no-contest. During the match, Mads "Kruel" Krugger shows up as Gangrel goes for an Implant DDT, then Kruel and Gangrel square off. Warwolf gets up and attacks Kruel, and Kruel and Gangrel double-team Warwolf. Kruel then opens the wooden casket that has been left in front of the announce desk the whole show and choke slams Warwolf into the casket before closing the lid.
