Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for October 12, 2022

Renee Paquette (aka Renee Young) welcomes everyone to tonight's show, then interviews Christian Cage on the stage. Christian says it feels great to be back in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as not only the face of Toronto, but also the face of Canada, and guarantees a victory is as inevitable as Toronto losing in the first round of the MLB playoffs before introducing Luchasaurus. Christian Cage guests on commentary for the next match.

Luchasaurus beats Jungle Boy following the distraction and interference by Christian Cage.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "All Ego" Ethan Page and Stokely Hathaway when Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) and Matt Hardy confront them. Stokely announces he has bought Private Party's contracts, then Matt Hardy challenges The Firm to a match. Ethan Page accepts for Rampage for a match with Isiah Kassidy, and says that if Kassidy wins, Private Party is free. However, if Ethan wins, The Firm will also own Matt Hardy.

The Factory (QT Marshall, Aaron Solo, Nick Comoroto) is in the ring. QT Marshall makes fun of the team name of "WarJoe," (Wardlow and Samoa Joe) which causes WarJoe to show up for the next match.

WarJoe (Samoa Joe and Wardlow) beat The Factory (QT Marshall and Nick Comoroto) after Joe makes Comoroto submit. After the match, Samoa Joe tosses QT Marshall to Wardlow for the powerbomb symphony. Suddenly, The Embassy shows up, and Prince Nana says WarJoe has been sticking their nose in their business while Brian Cage says nobody wants to see the powerbomb symphony like how nobody wanted to see them stick their noses in their business last week. After Brian Cage says he would not even let FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) into Canada, FTR shows up. Dax Harwood challenges The Embassy to a trios match against FTR on Rampage, then mentions that FTR has the perfect partner. Shawn Spears shows up and helps FTR clean house against The Embassy by shoving Aaron Solo into a Big Rig.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews The Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard, "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker). Parker says Bryan Danielson is a piece of garbage and that he made this personal by poaching Daniel Garcia and broke up their family. Menard says this will hurt them more than it will hurt Daniel Garcia, and Chris Jericho says that Danielson has forced him to hurt "his little brother" Daniel Garcia, who he has not heard from in a week, before declaring he will beat Danielson tonight.

Swerve Strickland beats Billy Gunn after grabbing the bottom rope at the last moment. Before The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and Billy Gunn have a post-match scissor, "Smart" Mark Sterling and "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese show up with a document which states that he owns the trademark to "Scissor Me" in professional wrestling, which keeps The Acclaimed from even mentioning scissoring. He then dares The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn to scissor so he can sue them, then entertains the idea of both parties working together before he and Nese scissor.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews MJF. Before MJF can say a word, Stokely Hathaway interrupts him. MJF chews him out for getting involved last week and interrupting his interview, and threatens to fire him if he does anything he does not like again. He then says William Regal is "as villainous as Mary Poppins" and says he does not know if he would have shaken Regal's hand last week. He says that nice guys finish last and that he knows everyone hates his guts. MJF then says nobody has "a goddamn clue" what is like to be him, as he has to wake up every day to be the good guy and has hurt his hand punching his reflection. He says he does not like himself either, but it is what it takes to become World Champion.

Tony Schiavone interviews Jon Moxley in the ring. Moxley says that is good to be back in Toronto, Ontario, Canada after three years, and for much of those three years, he has been AEW World Champion and challengers have come far and wide to knock him off the top of the mountain. He says none of them have walked a mile of his shoes and that being world champion is not easy, as the world champion does not have the luxury of anxiety, fear, doubt or second guesses and must be "ruthless and indiscriminate." Moxley then addresses Adam Page, who shows up. Page tells Moxley to say whatever he has to say to him to his face, then says he said it all last week when he said that he respected him in the ring. He then says that Moxley shattered the illusions he had about him by calling him "a nice kid," then asks Moxley if he is a kid to him. Moxley says this is exactly what he thinks of him as MJF watches from the luxury box. Moxley then says that if Page get the shot against him next week, he will not have what it takes to pull the trigger. Page says he is not the same guy he was last year, and while his old friends have disappeared and have left him with nothing but anger and frustration, he is still here because he is a man. He says he has put family members into the ground and introduces new life just like Moxley has, and that whatever happens to him, he keeps getting back up because he is a man. Page says he knows what he has to do next week, and that he will beat him within an inch of his life to win back the AEW World Championship regardless of whoever in Moxley's family is in the crowd. He gives Moxley his word that he will take his shot and become the AEW World Champion, and unlike MJF, he wanted to make sure he said that face-to-face and man-to-man.

We see a video package for "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho for the Ring of Honor World Championship.

William Regal guests on commentary for the next match.

Chris Jericho retains the Ring of Honor World Championship against "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson after Daniel Garcia runs into the ring as the referee is down to stop Jericho from hitting Danielson with the ROH World Championship only to hit Danielson with the ROH Pure Championship.

We see a video package for "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho for the Ring of Honor World Championship.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose, Marina Shafir and Vickie Guerrero. Nyla Rose says that possession is nine-tenths of the law and that she is the law, then Anna Jay shows up and challenges her to a match on Rampage so she can beat her and show everyone what a real champion is like. Nyla accepts.

Hikaru Shida and Toni Storm beat Jamie Hayter and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

Orange Cassidy beats PAC to become AEW All-Atlantic Champion after Danhausen stops PAC from grabbing a ring bell hammer and Orange punches PAC in the jaw to stop him from using a second one.
