Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for October 8, 2022

It is announced that "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock has been suspended from Memphis Wrestling and that more details will be mentioned later.

Dustin Starr interviews "The GunShow" Brett Michaels at the announce desk. He says that The Posse (Simon and Mr. Chris) may have taken out "Big Swole" Justin Cole, but they should have taken him out first. He says that Justin Cole is doing okay, then tells The Posse that he knows that they are in the building and calls them out, saying that he will take care of them and that he will come for them before the day is through.

Backstage, Mackenzie Morgan interviews Trace Lee Hunt, who says that while he does not have a problem losing, he has a problem with losing to someone who uses a female as a weapon like Jason Genesis. He challenges Jason Genesis to a rematch, and says he has someone who will take Goddess out if she even so much as look at him wrong and make the match one-on-one.

"The True American" Trace Lee Hunt beats Jason Genesis after a blonde woman shows up and confronts Goddess for continuously getting physically involved in the match.

Backstage, Mackenzie Morgan interviews Ray Sanders, who admits he has gotten himself into trouble and has made some bad decisions, and next week, he will address the fans.

We see some camera footage of someone running through a forest in the dark while breathing heavily. Suddenly, growling is heard, and the camera looks at the moon before we hear a wolf's howl.

Dustin Starr interviews Zay Washington at the announce desk. Washington says he has been asking for answers for the last few weeks regarding Roberts' mystery manager, then mentions that Aaron Roberts weaseled his way out of a loss twice before challenging Roberts to another fight. Roberts shows up, and a match starts.

Zay Washington beats Aaron Roberts by disqualification after the mystery man from Dyer County Clash shows up and distracts Washington before Roberts hits Washington with a chain around his fist. After the match, Aaron Roberts continues to attack Zay Washington, and when head of security Big Dan and a member of security shows up, Roberts backhands Big Dan and slams Washington onto Big Dan before hitting both Big Dan and Washington with a Vader Bomb in the corner. After the commercial break, medical staff from LifeTech show up to fit Big Dan with a neck brace and place him on a stretcher.

In footage from before the show, Dustin Starr introduces Chavo Guerrero Jr. Chavo thanks the fans for supporting independent wrestling and thanks Memphis Wrestling having him today to watch all the young talent, and says that he is all about giving back and spreading the knowledge that has been taught to him. Dustin Starr also asks the fans if they want to see Chavo in action, then says that the announcement will come soon.

We see footage of Big Dan being taken to an ambulance outside of the WrestleCenter.

Gio Savage beats Cameron Cole.

We hear from Mike Anthony, who says that big things are happening and that he is the biggest thing. He says he does not duck anyone and knows that "All Day" Will Allday wants his title, but he has heard that a "premier athlete" is coming to Memphis. He says that he is the premier athlete and that nobody can touch him, then says that he and "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese have a problem and that will make sure that Nese respects the pecking order.

"The GunShow" Brett Michaels shows up and calls out The Posse again, saying he is here for a fight and not a match. The Posse (Simon and Mr. Chris) run out almost immediately afterwards and blindsides GunShow, but "Big Swole" Justin Cole shows up and evens the numbers game. Both teams brawl, and The Posse soon retreat despite what looks like a spike in Simon's hand. They approach the ring again, but step away when Brett Michaels advances. The Posse retreat from the ring after this.
