Carmelo Hayes beats Cedric Alexander.
Backstage, Cedric Alexander is met by Carmelo Hayes. Carmelo says he usually has something disrespectful to say, but he has nothing but respect for him after seeing him come up since the Cruiserweight Classic. He says that from now on, he will be seeing him, as Cedric has had food on his table for years and now it is his turn to eat.
Backstage, R-Truth is met by Tamina, who tells him that he needs to take things more seriously like Shelton Benjamin. Meanwhile, Dana Brooke tells Shelton Benjamin that he needs to loosen up and smile more, as she does not want to see him angry. R-Truth then meets Shelton, and both of them mention their recent backstage conversations. After both men cannot believe the other, Shelton almost tells Little Jimmy that he is not his uncle before R-Truth tells him that they need to be on the same page. R-Truth tells Shelton to lighten up, and Shelton tells R-Truth to be more serious. Both men then shake hands on this.
R-Truth beats Von Wagner by disqualification. During the match, Von Wagner tears off a turnbuckle cover on the top rope, but before he can send R-Truth's head into the exposed turnbuckle, the referee stops him. As the referee puts the cover back on the turnbuckle, Shelton Benjamin slides a metal folding chair to R-Truth. R-Truth takes a chair, and after some hesitation, he smacks the chair on the mat, tosses it to Von Wagner and feigns being hit in the head. When the referee turns around, he sees Von Wagner with the chair, then disqualifies him, much to the consternation of Shelton Benjamin.
