They're On A Rampage - Rampage recap for October 14, 2022

William Regal guests on commentary for the next match.

The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli) beat The Butcher & The Blade. After the match, Moxley and Claudio state that they do not care who is in the ring with them and that they never stay down, and that "Hangman" Adam Page will be stepped on if he steps up next week.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Swerve In Our Glory. Swerve says they need to get the AEW tag titles back, then laughs about "Smart" Mark Sterling copyrighting "Scissor Me." Keith Lee says that he stuck around Swerve because he is good and knows he can be great, then says they do not to cheat to win. He then says that all of that means nothing and that Swerve is swerving into the wrong lane.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Dark Order. As Alex Reynolds talks about their trios tag match loss, Josh the Assistant shows up and tries to recruit Preston "10" Vance again. 10 tells Josh that he will face Rush next week, and when he beats Rush, he will leave him alone for good. 10 tells Josh that he will face Rush next week, and when he beats Rush, he will leave him alone for good. Afterwards, Stu Grayson makes a surprise appearance as everyone in The Dark Order puts their hands together.

The Jericho Appreciation Society heads to the ring. Matt Menard says that it makes his nipples hard that The Jericho Appreciation Society will be together forever, then Daniel Garcia says he turned on Bryan Danielson because Chris Jericho has said that sports entertainers are superior. He admits that he did not want to listen to him and that he wanted to be a pro wrestler, but he will never be a pro wrestler. He says that while Danielson is his hero, Jericho was the one that taught him how to win. After being hit with the Ring of Honor World Championship, he knew that sports entertainers beat pro wrestlers every time, then says that he is a sports entertainer. Jericho says that he will beat every Ring of Honor World Champion that ever existed, then Dalton Castle and The Boys show up. Dalton Castle says he used to be World Champion, and that seeing the ROH World title around "the silly goose" Jericho's waist makes him sick. He says he broke his back for the title and will break Jericho's back to get it back. Castle says that his "Peacock Power" is what keeps the arena lit up and going, and if Jericho accepts his challenge for the title, he will shock his face right off his body. Jericho accepts, and says he will pluck his feathers out one by one.

We see a video package for Hikaru Shida vs. Toni Storm for the Interim AEW Women's Championship next week on Dynamite.

"The Native Beast" Nyla Rose beats Anna Jay A.S. After the match, Vickie Guerrero holds up a sign saying "1-0," then The Baddies show up. Jade Cargill strikes down every member of security standing in their way, and "The Problem" Marina Shafir, Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrero run away as this goes on.

We hear from Ari Daivari, who says that he just wanted to share his wealth with Hook and that he tore up $50,000 for buying the FTW Championship. He then says he will take the title by any means necessary.

"All Ego" Ethan Page beats Isiah Kassidy. As per pre-match stipulation, The Firm has possession of Matt Hardy and Private Party's (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) contracts. (Had Isiah Kassidy won, Private Party would have been freed from The Firm.)

We hear from Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta). Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta agree that they need more gold, and challenge for the Trios Tag Team Championships next Tuesday on Dynamite.

Backstage, Mark Henry interviews The Pinnacle (Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, Shawn Spears) and The Embassy (Joseph Kaun, Toa Liona, "The Machine" Brian Cage). Brian Cage says The Embassy are "the top body guys" and that they have many ways of beating The Pinnacle, but Shawn Spears says he has waited for five months to right some wrongs. Harwood says tonight will be a fight and that he does not run from a fight. Wheeler says The Embassy may be forever, but "the top guys" are always on top.

The Pinnacle (Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, Shawn Spears) beat The Embassy (Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona, "The Machine" Brian Cage). After the match, The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis-Bennett) show up. Maria says FTR (Harwood and Wheeler) call themselves "top guys" when they have never faced The Kingdom. She also says that they have won every title FTR have held first, then says everything about AEW was built off their backs and they never get the credit they deserve. After Harwood dares them to get in the ring, they are attacked from behind by The Embassy, and The Kingdom help The Embassy further outnumber Shawn Spears and FTR before WarJoe (Samoa Joe and Wardlow) arrive and clear out the ring.
