Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for May 19, 2022

Xia Brookside and Eliza Alexander beat Amale and Angel Hayze after Xia attacks Amale in order to distract the referee.

In backstage footage from earlier this week, Emelia McKenzie is met by Ivy Nile, who bows to Meiko Satomura and asks for a NXT UK Women's Championship match. Satomura accepts her challenge, and Ivy Nile bows again before thanking her.

It's time for East End Bookie. Sha Samuels says he is upset about Damon Kemp being against his odds for him and embarrassing him in front of Lash Legend, then says he is the odds-on favorite to end him.

Die Familie (Teoman and Rohan Raja) beat "Bomber" Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz to advance to the Triple Threat Match for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships following the distraction from Charlie Dempsey, who beats Jack Starz' leather jacket on the ring apron.

Backstage, Lash Legend says she has no problem with Emilia McKenzie before calling her the one who carries Meiko Satomura's bags as Emilia shows up. Emilia punches Lash Legend, and referees quickly rush in to break up the brawl.

Backstage during the break, Die Familie (Teoman, Rohan Raja, Charlie Dempsey) is confronted by Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala for how they won their match and bans Teoman and Rohan Raja from Charlie Dempsey's match next week. Teoman tells Rohan Raja that "The Eye always has a plan."

Kenny Williams beats Josh Morrell. During the match, a man in a luchador mask is seen watching the match, and Kenny Williams keeps noticing him. Near the end, there are two men in luchador masks. After the match, there is a third masked man, and that masked man is Tiger Turan.

In footage from earlier this week at the UK Performance Center, Von Wagner finds out he will face Sam Gradwell in two week's time. Von Wagner says the NXT UK is not as big or strong as him and that Gradwell is living in his world. Gradwell shows up and tells Gradwell that nobody asked how big he is and says he is not scared of him, and Von Wagner shoves him. Gradwell strikes back, and both men have to kept apart.

Next week: Charlie Dempsey vs. A-Kid in a Heritage Cup Rules Match! Lash Legend vs. Emilia McKenzie!

In backstage footage from earlier today, Trent Seven says that he and Tyler Bate are the best team in NXT UK, but Tyler Bate reminds him that they do not need to be pinned to lose the NXT UK Tag Team Championships. Trent says Tyler has a wise head on top of big, broad shoulders and that they should reassess and rethink their strategy.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Mark Andrews says that he is watching tonight's main event and that Eddie Dennis is going to get what is coming to him. Suddenly, Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala and Kenny Williams show up from behind, with Kenny Williams holding wanted posters for the masked men that he keeps seeing. Mark Andrews confronts Kenny Williams, saying that he also deserves what is coming to him and tells him he has more than one enemy around here.

Wild Boar beats Eddie Dennis in a Dog Collar Match with a crossface with the dog collar chain desite interference from Primate and Tyson T-Bone.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for August 18, 2021

Meiko Satomura retains the NXT UK Women's Championship with the STF.

We hear from Oliver Carter, who says that he is here in the tournament to represent his people, and that he will stomp Kenny Williams - who calls himself "the scum of the earth" and a cockroach - into the ground. We also hear from Kenny Williams, who says that the Heritage Cup is a way for the old boys to glorify the past when they should focus on here and now, and says that while Carter has heart, he does not have much sense.



We see a video package for Rampage Brown and Joe Coffey's third one-on-one match.



Saxon Huxley beats Eddie Dennis. After the match, Symbiosis (Primate and T-Bone) attack Huxley before they help Dennis hit Huxley with Seven Bridge.

We see a video package for Jinny vs. Aoife Valkyrie with Joseph Conners in a cage.



Dani Luna beats Isla Dawn. During the match, Isla Dawn manages to pull out a few locks of Dani Luna's hair, and Dani Luna plants Isla Dawn into the mat for the win.

We see the Prime Target video package for Ilja Dragunov vs. Walter for the NXT UK Championship at NXT TakeOver 36.

Next week: Rampage Brown vs. Joe Coffey in a Knockout or Submission Match! Jinny vs. Aoife Valkyie in a no-disqualification match with Joseph Conners in a steel cage!

Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley) - who show up with fake mustaches that get rippped off later in the match - retain the NXT UK Tag Team Championships against Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) after Howley throws a towel into the match to fool the referee into thinking Trent Seven has thrown the match only for Pretty Deadly to hit Spilt Milk on Tyler Bate for the win.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for July 8, 2021

Kenny Williams beats Nathan Frazer after removing a turnbuckle cover and rams Nathan Frazer's arm into the exposed turnbuckle before hitting Bad Luck.

It is announced that A-Kid is injured as of last week's main event and that he is not medically cleared.

In footage from earlier today, Rampage Brown says training is going fantastic and that he is feeling his best. After the interview, Rampage runs into Joe Coffey as he walks into Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala's room. As both men mention they have a victory on each other, the camera is pushed out of the room when Sid Scala insists they discuss things privately.

We see a video package chronicling what happened last week between Meiko Satomura and Amale. Meiko Satomura says she wants to fight her and teach her respect, and Amale says she wants to show what she is capable of and become NXT UK Women's Champion.



Mark Andrews beats Lewis Howley to earn Subculture (Andrews, "Flash" Morgan Webster, Dani Luna) a shot at the NXT UK Tag Team Championships. During the match, Sam Stoker gets on the apron and distracts the referee, but "Flash" Morgan Webster and Dani Luna take him out. Andrews soon hits Stundog Millionaire on Howley followed by Fall To Pieces for the win.

In footage from earlier this week at the UK Peformance Center, Jack Starz is encouraged to keep on going in NXT UK. Starz then says he is doing okay, then "Bomber" Dave Mastiff shows up and tells Starz that people have taken notice of what he has done, and that if anyone wants to prove themselves in NXT UK, they will have to prove themselves through Starz.

Backstage, Tyler Bate says that Mark Coffey may have gotten involved in his business, but he knows what he and Wolfgang are doing, and if Coffey wants a match, all he has to do is ask.

Blair Davenport beats Laura DiMatteo in her NXT UK debut. After the match, Blair Davenport sas she has arrived in NXT UK, and says she has heard it has the best women's division on the planet and that it is no surprise that she chose to come here before putting the locker room on notice, saying they have not seen anyone who wrestles like her.

We hear from Jinny, who says that in a world of people who are overexposed, some people think it is best to remain a mystery. She says Aoife Valkryie tried to be a mystery, hiding in shadows and watching from a distance. She says that Aoife seemed untouchable until Meiko Satomura cracked her, and when she starts to break, that allows people to sneak into her psyche and destroy her. Jinny says she will expose Aoife for the weak, fragile little girl playing dress-up that she is, and she will not survive.



We hear from Teoman, who says that family means everything and family means loyalty. Rohan Raja thanks Teoman for looking after him, and Teoman says he is impressed by Raja for not giving up. He says that next week, they will face Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter and that it is Rohan Raja's time to look after their family. He asks Raja if he loyal to him, and Raja says he is forever loyal to Teoman.



We hear from Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala, who says that in two weeks, Ilja Dragunov will face Walter in a rematch for the NXT UK Championship. He also says there will be an in-ring press conference between the two men next week.

Trent Seven beats Eddie Dennis. During the match, Primate and T-Bone show up to get a closer look at the match, and eventually help pull Dennis out of the ring. When Trent Seven hits T-Bone and Dennis with a dive, Primate tries to get involved only to get chopped, and Seven hits the Burning Hammer for the win. After the match, Primate and T-Bone attack Trent Seven, and Tyler Bate runs intot he ring to help even the odds and even hit Primate with a pair on nunchaku.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for April 22, 2021

Joe Coffey beats Eddie Dennis. During the match, T-Bone and Primate distract Joe Coffey, and this nearly costs Coffey the match. Mark Coffey and Wolfgang soon show up to stop them from interfering further. After the match, T-Bone and Primate - having laid out Mark Coffey and Wolfgang - attack Joe Coffey, but Mark Coffey and Wolfgang soon get in the ring to make the save.

We see Ilya Dragunov see footage of previous matches where his opponents smack him in the back and make him go out of control.



In backstage footage from during the break, Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) celebrate when Joe Coffey is met by Rampage Brown. Coffey tells Brown that he promised him a rematch, and tells him that if he game for one, all he has to do is give him a call.

Sam Gradwell beats "Bomber" Dave Mastiff after Mastiff's back gives out upon hitting the corner for Into The Void.

We hear from Aoife Valkyrie, who says that the time has finally come to rise to the challenge, step out of the shadows and show what she is truly capable of. She says that what we do is fleeting and lives for now, and next week, this is her moment and she gets what she wanted: Meiko Satomura.



We get a closer look at Emilia McKenzie, who says that she has enjoyed being a part of the British wrestling scene and proving herself to the point that she is now the youngest person to be part on NXT UK and learn from the best. She says that she has always had the mentality of pushing herself and she hopes to make a name for herself.



Jinny beats Dani Luna following the distraction from Joseph Conners. After the match, Jinny continues to attack Dani Luna and puts her in an STF. "Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews run into the ring to make the save.

Backstage, Assistant Sid Scala is interrupted by Amir Jordan, who demands a rematch with "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams. Jordan finds out that he gets a rematch that is no-disqualification, but for Kenny to agree to the match, the loser will have to leave NXT UK. Jordan thnks about it, then signs the contract with authority before telling Scala that no one will take this from him.

We hear from Rohan Raja, who is making his debut next week against Teoman. He says that Teoman has been making his opponents tap out, but he does not quit and Teoman will have to bring his A-game. (Rohan Raja is best known as former Desi Hit Squad member Gursinder Singh from Impact Wrestling.)



We hear from Teoman, who says he will be back in action next week against Rohan Raja. He says that he would die for his family and protect them with honor, respect and fear.

Next week: Aoife Valkyrie vs. Meiko Satomura! Eddie Dennis, Primate and T-Bone vs. Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang)!

Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) beat Sha Samuels and Noam Dar.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for February 11, 2021

In footage from earlier today, "Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews hand Wild Boar's mask to assistant Sid Scala, telling him they are fed up and that they have just evened the odds. Sid Scala then finds out that Wild Boar has been laid out. Eddie Dennis will be taking Wild Boar's place in tonight's Street Fight against Webster and Andrews.

Meiko Satomura beats Isla Dawn in her NXT UK debut. Kay Lee Ray is seen watching from a distance during the match.

In footage from earlier this week, Rampage Brown is met by Joe Coffey. Both men are addressed on a monitor by General Manager Johnny Saint, who makes their match against each other official for next week.

We see a vignette for Dani Luna, who talks about her powerlifting background and says that she will not stop until she reaches the top.



We see a vignette of Aoife Valkyrie, who says that despite everything, including her success, life has become a struggle. She says that to become part of the birds, you must become part of the silence, and she says the time has come to fly. She then asks what will happen if she falls.

Backstage during the break, Meiko Satomura tells Kay Lee Ray that she is ready for her.

It's time for SPRNVA Sessions. Tonight's guest is Sha Samuels. Sha Samuels says he is where needs to be, and takes offense to being named "Ed Harvey" rather than his real name after a long, hard journey. As Noam Dar tells Sha Samuels that he can anything taken care of for him - while stopping him from telling a story - Assistant Sid Scala shows up and tells Noam he cannot make matches. As he has to stop Sha from yelling at Sid, he says that Sha Samuel exemplifies British wrestling heritage. Noam Dar proposes a match between Sha Samuels and A-Kid for the NXT Heritage Cup. Sid Scala says he will take it into consideration. Sha tries to tell another Noam Dar story, but Noam Dar has to stop it to end the show.

In footage from earlier this week, Nina Samuels tells Xia Brookside that she accepts her rematch in two weeks, on the condition that if Brookside loses, she has to be her personal servant for one whole month, and says all will be right with the world when she carries Nina's bags.

We see a vignette for Trent Seven, who talks about how his strength is getting better during his workout routine as he continues to focus on Jordan Devlin and the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. Seven says he is doing this for his well-being, and says that he needs to push himself to the next level.



Piper Niven beats Amale. During the match, Joseph Conners shows up, briefly distracting Piper.

In a video package, Assistant Sid Scala announces that the NXT UK Tag Team Championship match between Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley) and Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) will take place in two weeks.



Next week: Ben Carter in action! Sha Samuels vs. A-Kid for the NXT UK Heritage Cup! Joe Coffey vs. Rampage Brown!

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for October 22, 2020

Eddie Dennis beats Oliver Carter in his first match since returning from injury. After the match, Eddie Dennis laughs about the attack on "Flash" Morgan Webster, then asks how stood to gain the most with Webster on the shelf after saying everyone knows who did it. He then invites Webster and Mark Andrews to the ring next week for a special mediation hosted by Dennis himself.

We see a vignette for Joe Coffey, who is returning soon.



Next week: A special start time of 4 PM Eastern/8 PM GMT! Jordan Devlin returns to action!

Nina Samuels beats Amale.

In footage from the commercial break, Nina Samuels says that NXT UK needs more of her, and considers her win tonight the relaunch of "The Nina Samuels Show." She then tells Piper Niven "I'll be watching."

Trent Seven beats "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams two falls to one (2-1) to advance in the NXT UK Heritage Cup Tournament. Trent Seven gets the first fall with a Seven Star Lariat with seconds left in Round 3. Kenny Williams gets the second fall less than a minute into Round 4 after rolling Seven up for a pinfall attempt. Seven gets the third fall after he reverses a hurricanrana from the top rope by Kenny Williams and stacks Williams up for the win.

Assistant Sid Scala moderates the contract signing for Ilya Dragunov vs. Walter for the NXT United Kingdom Championship next week. Dragunov arrives first, followed by Walter. Walter signs the contract, and declines to make any comment at the present time. Dragunov signs the contract, then says "Unbesiegbar" at Walter only for Walter to attack him. As Sid Scala scrambles to get all the paperwork, Walter nearly powerbombs Dragunov through the table, but Dragunov sends Walter out of the ring. He goes up top only to get chopped in mid-air and powerbombed onto the ring apron. Walter smacks Dragunov with some thunderous chops not only to his chest, but to his back, and referees have to step in before things get worse. This fails to stop Dragunov from plowing Walter through a barricade. Dragunov then throws the United Kingdom Championship at Walter to end the show.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for February 6, 2020

Piper Niven beats Dani Luna.

In a short video package, Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) tell Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch that they are the ones who run things in NXT UK.

In footage from earlier this week, Jordan Devlin says he claimed to be the best in the world, and now he has proven that he is the best wrestler under 205 pounds and that nobody should bet against him.

Tyler Bate beats A-Kid. Both men shake hands after the match. Suddenly, Joseph Conners shows up and says it has been one achievement and milestone after another for Tyler Bate while he has been left to rot. He calls this a big mistake, and says he expected more from "the big strong boy," but he was wrong. He tells Tyler Bate that when he is done playing around with boys, he can step into the ring with a man like him and see just how worthy he is.

In post-show backstage footage from last week, "Bomber" Dave Mastiff is seen looking for Walter.

Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter beat Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley). After the match, Pretty Deadly gang up on Ashton Smith before leaving the ring.

In footage from earlier this week at the UK Performance Center, Ilja Dragunov says that if Joe Coffey says his days are numbered, then he had better start counting because he is ready. He then gets back to pounding on a tire with a sledgehammer.

Kay Lee Ray shows up. She says she proved why she is the absolute best at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II and that she will never give up the NXT UK Women's Championship no matter who is thrown at her or how many women are thrown at her. She also says that she has gotten to understand Toni Storm a little bit, and says that having the title is intoxicating, and everything that comes with it is all hers while Toni sits at home and has nothing better to do. Suddenly, Toni shows up and says that Kay Lee Ray stole the victory from her, and that the title is hers. Kay Lee Ray says being upset is not a good look for her, and says that he is obsessed with being champion. She says that she is the intervention, and that she used to be friends. She then gives her a title opportunity, and if she doesn't give up afterwards, she will make her admit that she is not good enough to beat her. She then challenges her to an "I Quit" Match, which Toni Storm is game for, and when she beats her, she cannot challenge her for the title again while she is champion.

Next week: Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) vs. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch!

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for November 28, 2019

Piper Niven beats Jinny. During the match, Jazzy Gabert gets caught by the referee getting involved in the match and is ejected. After the match, Piper Niven calls out Kay Lee Ray, telling her she is coming for the NXT UK Women's Championship. Kay Lee Ray then shows up and slaps Piper Niven, but Piper punches Kay Lee Ray in the face and hits her with a back suplex. Suddenly, Toni Storm shows up for the first time in months and fights Kay Lee Ray, and Kay Lee Ray flees through the crowd.

A returning Eddie Dennis beats Dereiss Gordon. During the match, Dennis mocks Trent Seven - who has trained Dereiss Gordon - by performing his signature roll into the ring as well as the Seven Star Lariat and the Seven Bridge.

Backstage, Radzi is confronted by Joseph Conners, who says that he is TakeOver-worthy, and to prove that, he is prepared to speak with General Manager Johnny Saint and get a Triple Threat Match with "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks and Ligero.

Noam Dar beats Ashton Smith.

Next week: A-Kid vs. Jordan Devlin! Joseph Connors vs. Ligero vs. "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks!

Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel, Alexander Wolfe) vs. Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) and Ilya Dragunov ends in a double count-out with both teams brawling all around the ring.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for March 20, 2019

General Manager Johnny Saint and Assistant Sid Scala are in the ring to start tonight's show. They announce that they have received some extraordinary news: they have been given permission for Pete Dunne to defend the WWE United Kingdom Championship at NXT TakeOver: New York. While the decision to have the title defended was an easy one, the hunt for a worthy competitor for Dunne begins. Suddenly, Dunne shows up. Dunne immediately demands Walter as his opponent as soon as he gets in the ring, then leaves.

We hear from Toni Storm, who says that while she and Jinny are different, they have one thing in common: they love gold. The only reason why she is a champion, however, is because she knows how to be one. She thinks that this is why Jinny has a problem with her, as she has to work hard for something when they are in the ring. As Toni leaves, Rhea Ripley shows up and says that if Xia Brookside wants another match with her, she should quit dreaming.

Eddie Dennis beats Ligero.

We see footage from earlier this week at the UK Performance Center where Amir Jordan talks with Kenny Williams about going for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships. This leads to a training montage where Amir Jordan attempts to do a pull-up.

"Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman and "Primate" Jay Melrose - now known as "The Hunt" - beat Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley.

Kassius Ohno beats Ashton Smith in his NXT UK debut. After the match, Kassius Ohno helps Ashton Smith up, then hits him with a discus elbow to knock him back down. As Ohno leaves, "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks shows up to check on Ashton Smith. Ohno tries to sneak in a cheap shot, but Banks notices him and the referee has to force Ohno to the back.

We see a vignette where Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) regroups in a pub. Joe Coffey proclaims that they need to re-establish dominance in NXT UK.

Tyler Bate beats James Drake.

Walter is seen backstage walking away from General Manager Johnny Saint's office. Johnny Saint and Assistant General Manager announces that Walter will challenge Pete Dunne for the WWE United Kingdom Championship at NXT TakeOver: New York.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for January 23, 2019

Pete Dunne shows up to start tonight's show. Dunne says that at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool, everyone made history. He says it all started in Blackpool two years ago and much has changed, but one thing has remained the same: he is still United Kingdom Champion. Suddenly, Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) shows up, and Joe Coffey proclaims that UK TakeOver changed nothing. He claims that NXT UK is still his kingdom, and that he is thinking of new strategies to make the United Kingdom title his. Joe Coffey tells Dunne to enjoy the UK title while he still can, as it will soon be his. He then says that anyone who has a problem can go to the back of the line, then the lights go out. Walter's entrance hits, and Walter is standing on the stage. When Walter gets in the ring, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang have to hold Joe Coffey back. Gallus then pretends to leave only to rush back in the ring, then Walter and Dunne fight Gallus off. Dunne then finds Walter looking at him, then looking at the United Kingdom Championship. Both men then stare down, then Walter leaves.

Assistant to the NXT UK General Manager Sid Scala announces that NXT UK will be in Phoenix, Arizona for the Worlds Collide tournament, and that not only will NXT UK win and prove they are the best brand, but that three episodes of NXT UK will be taped there. Suddenly, Zack Gibson and James Drake show up. Scala congratulates them on their tag team title win, but Gibson considers Scala's sudden asking of questions to be patronizing and that they will talk when they are good and ready.

Nina Samuels beats Lana Austin.

In footage from NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool, Radzi interviews Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven). Moustache Mountain admits they came up short, but even when they lose, they get back up, keep fighting and focus on their goal: the NXT UK Tag Team Championships.

In footage from NXT UK TakeOver; Blackpool, Radzi interviews Toni Storm, who says that she loves NXT UK and will do everything in her power to build it up along with the women's division. She admits the Mae Young Classic made her into a more dangerous person, but also a better person and a champion.

Eddie Dennis beats Jamie Ahmed.

Next weeK: Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) vs. Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel!

Jordan Devlin vs. "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks ends in a double count-out. After the match, both men continue to brawl at ringside and into the crowd.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for January 2, 2019 - Episode Two

In memory of "Mean" Gene Okerlund, 1942 - 2019.

Toni Storm beats Deonna Purrazzo. After the match, Rhea Ripley shows up and dares her to come for the NXT UK Women's Championship from the apron.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews General Manager Johnny Saint and Assistant Sid Scala. Next week will be "Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews vs. James Drake and Zack Gibson, with the winners facing Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) in the NXT UK tag team tournament finals at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool.

We hear from Joseph Connors, who says he was sold a lie when he joined NXT UK two years ago just like the rest of "the new toys." He says there is no "we" in NXT UK; there is only yourself and he is about himself. If he has to break all the "new toys," so be it.

We hear from "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Buzzsaw, who confronts Jordan Devlin for questioning his patriotism, saying he does everything for New Zealand. He says that if Devlin wants a fight, he shall get it.

Backstage, Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel tell Assistant Sid Scala that they deserve to be in the semi-finals of the NXT UK tag team tournament, but Scala tells them they have only arrived and that if they interfere in the match, they will be out the door as quickly as the arrived. Aichner and Barthel angrily leave.

"Bomber" Dave Mastiff vs. Eddie Dennis ends in a double-disqualification when both men shove the referee at the same time before continuing to go at it. As referees try to separate both men, General Manager Johnny Saint shows up and says that if this is how they want it, they've got a no-disqualification match at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool.



Next week: Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) and Pete Dunne vs. Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang)!

General Manager Johnny Saint and Assistant Sid Scala are in the ring to moderate a contract signing for the WWE United Kingdom Championship at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool. Joe Coffey shows up first, followed by Pete Dunne. Both men have an intense staredown despite Assistant Sid Scala asking them to take their seats, then Joe Coffey takes the microphone and says this is like the first time two heads of two farms meet to discuss business. He says that NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool will be historic, as there will be a change of the guard in NXT UK. He tells Johnny Saint and Sid Scala to back off, then tells Pete Dunne that everything here is now his and that the UK title will also be his. He says that Dunne has been champion for too long, and asks why Dunne is still the champion before stating that it is because he has not been here and everyone else is a pawn in the game. Coffey says it is time for "The Iron King" to stand and claim his throne, then signs the contract on . Pete grabs Joe Coffey's hand and twists at the fingers before signing the contract and telling Joe Coffey he talks too much and that he will see him at NXT UK TakeOver. Suddenly, Wolfgang and Mark Coffey shows up on the stage, distracting Dunne so that Joe Coffey can powerbomb Pete Dunne through the table. Joe Coffey then holds the WWE United Kingdom Championship over a downed Pete Dunne to end the show.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for December 26, 2018 - Episode One

Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala is in the ring to start tonight's show. He introduces General Manager Johnny Saint to the ring. For the first time in the brand's history, NXT UK will be live from Blackpool, England on the WWE Network. Suddenly, Toni Storm shows up, and says she has been living in Liverpool, England for the past five years before running down what she's done in WWE lately. Due to her Mae Young Classic victory, she is owed a championship opportunity of her choosing, and she announces that she will challenge for the NXT UK Women's Championship at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool. Johnny Saint tells Toni she's got her title match. Toni says that the title is hers and that it is "Toni Time."



Jordan Devlin beats "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams. After the match, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Devlin, who tells Radzi to take a knee before gloating about his victory before announcing he has made it a mission to call out all the fakes and pretenders. He says that his next target is an embarrassment to his country and that he will soon learn that you never bet against "The Ace."

Next week: Marcel Barthel debuts!

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews General Manager Johnny Saint and assistant Sid Scala when Rhea Ripley shows up and says that she decides who she wants to face. She also wants to defend her title next week, and demands an opponent. Saint and Scala have a moment, and they tell Rhea Ripley that they have an opponent for her who will be debuting next week: Deonna Purrazzo. Rhea Ripley tells Sid Scala she still doesn't like him, then leaves. Johnny Saint says "What can ya do?"

Eddie Dennis beats Dan Moloney by disqualification after "Bomber" Dave Mastiff attacks Eddie Dennis at ringside. After the match, Dan Moloney confronts Mastiff only to get elbowed in the face, who then hits a somersault senton into the corner to send a message to Dennis.

General Manager Johnny Saint and Sid Scala are talking to Ligero. Ligero thanks Scala and General Manager Johnny Saint, then Joe Coffey shows up with the rest of Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) and says it's not about Ligero or his opportunity; it is about him and the NXT UK Championship as they will send him into the hospital. Scala tells Coffey to focus on his match, then tells the rest of Gallus to focus on their own match, as they are in the tag team title semi-finals in two weeks against Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven). Gallus leaves, then Ligero thanks Johnny Saint and Sid Scala and says that he will prove his worth tonight.

Zack Gibson gives James Drake a tour of Liverpool, England, and says he is so big that if he were to leave, Liverpool would crumble. He says the people of Liverpool will have their eyes on them when they win the NXT UK tag titles, as Liverpool needs him more than he needs Liverpool.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Isla Dawn, who admits she came up short against Rhea Ripley but is prepared to rise up, dust off the ashes and continue on her path to the NXT UK Women's Championship. Suddenly, Jinny shows up and says nobody cares about Isla Dawn or her path and that Isla Dawn blew it, and claims she would have walked out NXT UK Women's Champion as that is the difference between a witch and a queen.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for December 12, 2018 - Episode Two

Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) beat Ashton Smith and Ligero.



Backstage, General Manager Johnny Saint and assistant Sid Scala meet with Rhea Ripley and Isla Dawn to make their NXT UK Women's Championship official. Rhea and Isla stare down, and Rhea plainly exclaims "See you next week."

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Gallus. Wolfgang says if their match did not impress General Manager Johnny Saint, nothing will. Mark Coffey says they are the team to beat, and Joe Coffey is more focused on Pete Dunne. Joe Coffey says Gallus doesn't win, they take, and that he will rip the United Kingdom Championship from Dunne's mouth. For now, he will squash "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks like a bug.

Joseph Conners beats Jack Starz.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Xia Brookside. She feels confident right now, and while she is not the most experience, every match is an opportunity. Suddenly, her opponent for tonight, Jinny, shows up and stares her down for a few seconds before walking away.

We see a vignette for Tyson T-Bone and Saxon Huxley, who have suddenly become a team and are gunning for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships.

Jinny beats Xia Brookside after Brookside's back gives out as she attempts a pendulum swing.



James Drake and Zack Gibson show up. Gibson tells the fans they saw a glimpse of what they could do last week when they made quick work of "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan. He says that this was just the tip of the iceberg, and that he and James Drake will soon be recognized as the very best NXT UK Tag Team Champions.

"Bomber" Dave Mastiff beats Eddie Dennis, ending Dennis' undefeated streak in NXT UK while preserving his own.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for December 5, 2018 - Episode One

In memory of Thomas Billingon, aka The Dynamite Kid, 1958-2018. (Sadly, today was the Dynamite Kid's 60th birthday.)

Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang show up to start tonight's show. Joe Coffey says people think he, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang are ruthless, devious and underhanded, and says that they are absolutely right. He says that NXT UK belongs to them, because it is their kingdom. As the fans chant that this is not their kingdom, Joe Coffey says they are "Gallus" and that "British Strong Style" does not register because he could taste the fear last week. He goes on to state that there are no more "big strong boys" anymore, and that they run NXT UK. "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks then show up, and Joe welcomes him back from being put on the shelf before saying there is three of them and one of Banks. Joe then proposes a one-on-one match between him and Banks. Banks runs in and goes after him, but the numbers game quickly takes over until Moustache Mountain runs in to even the odds. Gallus is forced to retreat.



Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Fabian Aichner, who says NXT UK has some of the best talent on the planet and that he is here to make his mark. Tonight, he looks forward to facing Mark Andrews.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Jordan Devlin. Devlin says he has done what nobody else has done: scare Pete Dunne. He says another championship opportunity is in his future. Devlin tells Radzi to compare the NXT UK to a deck of cards, as he is the ace and "Flash" Morgan Webster is the joker. He plans to throw his helmet into the fifth row after he is done with him and look for another card in the deck. Devlin finishes by simply stating "Ace trumps all."

Fabian Aichner beats Mark Andrews in his NXT UK debut after viciously kneeing Andrews' head into the steel steps on the outside.



We see a vignette for Isla Dawn, who is coming up next in a match against Nina Samuels.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews General Manager Johnny Saint, who says there is so much going on in NXT UK that he has hired an assistant: Sid Scala. Suddenly, Rhea Ripley shows up and says everyone should be talking about how she has become the first-ever NXT UK Women's Champion before desiring suitable competition. Sid Scala says he and Johnny Saint are doing what they can, but Rhea Ripley says she does not think much of his hired help.

Isla Dawn beats Nina Samuels.

We hear from Toni Storm, who said that as soon as her back hit the guardrail in last week's NXT UK Women's Championship match against Rhea Ripley, she knew that this was all she had. She understands that Rhea Ripley is bigger and stronger than her, but she plans to be the best champion as her injuries have fired her up even more.

Eddie Dennis beats Tucker.

Xia Brookside and Millie McKenzie beat Charlie Morgan and Killer Kelly when McKenzie takes advantage of Charlie Morgan distracting the referee by hitting Killer Kelly with a Spear.

Joseph Conners beats Saxton Huxley.

Pete Dunne retains the WWE United Kingdom Championship against Jordan Devlin with a Triangle Hold followed by joint manipulating after rolling Devlin away from the bottom rope.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for November 21, 2018 - Episode One

Rhea Ripley beats Xia Brookside to advance to the semi-finals of the NXT UK Women's Championship Tournament.



Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews James Drake and Zack Gibson. Gibson says that he has known Drake for 13 years and last week was a friend helping a friend. He says that the NXT UK tag team titles are on the horizon, and there is no team that come close to them.

We see WWE.com exclusive footage from last week where The Coffey Brothers (Joe and Mark Coffey) and Wolfgang assault Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven and Tyler Bate) backstage and injure Trent Seven's knee by stomping on a box.

Eddie Dennis beats Jack Starz.

Mark Andrews beats "Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Eddie Dennis, who says that he has waited ten years for an opportunity like NXT UK. Suddenly, Ashton Smith shows up and says Eddie Dennis, but says he isn't anything he can't handle. Eddie Dennis snaps and says he will destroy anybody who gets in his way.

Toni Storm beats Isla Dawn to advance to the semi-finals of the NXT UK Women's Championship Tournament.



Next week: Rhea Ripley vs. Dakotai Kai and Toni Storm vs. Jinny in the semi-finals of the NXT Women's Championship Tournament!

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for November 7, 2018 - Episode One

"Bomber" Dave Mastiff beats Damien Weir.

We see another vignette for Jinny.

Ligero beats James Drake.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Toni Storm. Toni says she gets in the ring with the intention to win. She says that wile she and Dakota Kai both want to be the first NXT UK Women's Champion, that is not happening. Dakota Kai then shows up, telling her she will stop at nothing to kick the head off of anyone who gets in the way, and that she will be that much better than her in ther ing. Toni Storm says "may the best woman win."

We hear from Zack Gibson, who says he will be back in an NXT UK ring next week when he faces Amir Jordan. He admits Jordan is a good competitor, but he will not derail his momentum.

Before the next match, Wolfgang and The Coffey Brothers (Joe and Mark Coffey) attack Ashton Smith as he makes his entrance for the next match. They toss Ashton to the back, then get in the ring. Joe Coffey then takes the microphone and says that nobody likes them and that he and his brother don't care what anyone thinks of them since Royal Albert Hall. Joe says he has realized in being with people that share his mentality, whether they are family or someone else who gets things done their way, and says that he, Mark Coffey and Woflgang are NXT UK. He looks at NXT UK like a hierarchy, and says that if anybody is not on their level, they don't belong here. He says there will be no more British Strong Style or Tyler Bates and that NXT UK is their kingdom.



Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Mark Andrews and "Flash" Morgan Webster. They have a problem with the Coffey Brothers (Joe and Mark Coffey), and they want to solve it with a match with them and Wolfgang, who have also gotten involved with them as well. They are then let into General Manager Johnny Saint's office.

Eddie Dennis beats Sid Scala.



Next week: Mark Andrews, "Flash" Morgan Webster and Ashton Smith vs The Coffey Brothers (Joe and Mark Coffey) and Wolfgang!

Pete Dunne retains the WWE United Kingdom Championship against Danny Burch with an arm bar along with joint manipulation to Burch's fingers.
