Next week will be "Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews vs. James Drake and Zack Gibson, with the winners facing Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) in the NXT UK tag team tournament finals at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool.
We hear from Joseph Connors, who says he was sold a lie when he joined NXT UK two years ago just like the rest of "the new toys." He says there is no "we" in NXT UK; there is only yourself and he is about himself. If he has to break all the "new toys," so be it.
We hear from "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Buzzsaw, who confronts Jordan Devlin for questioning his patriotism, saying he does everything for New Zealand. He says that if Devlin wants a fight, he shall get it.
Backstage, Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel tell Assistant Sid Scala that they deserve to be in the semi-finals of the NXT UK tag team tournament, but Scala tells them they have only arrived and that if they interfere in the match, they will be out the door as quickly as the arrived. Aichner and Barthel angrily leave.
"Bomber" Dave Mastiff vs. Eddie Dennis ends in a double-disqualification when both men shove the referee at the same time before continuing to go at it. As referees try to separate both men, General Manager Johnny Saint shows up and says that if this is how they want it, they've got a no-disqualification match at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool.
Next week: Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) and Pete Dunne vs. Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang)!
General Manager Johnny Saint and Assistant Sid Scala are in the ring to moderate a contract signing for the WWE United Kingdom Championship at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool. Joe Coffey shows up first, followed by Pete Dunne. Both men have an intense staredown despite Assistant Sid Scala asking them to take their seats, then Joe Coffey takes the microphone and says this is like the first time two heads of two farms meet to discuss business. He says that NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool will be historic, as there will be a change of the guard in NXT UK. He tells Johnny Saint and Sid Scala to back off, then tells Pete Dunne that everything here is now his and that the UK title will also be his. He says that Dunne has been champion for too long, and asks why Dunne is still the champion before stating that it is because he has not been here and everyone else is a pawn in the game. Coffey says it is time for "The Iron King" to stand and claim his throne, then signs the contract on . Pete grabs Joe Coffey's hand and twists at the fingers before signing the contract and telling Joe Coffey he talks too much and that he will see him at NXT UK TakeOver. Suddenly, Wolfgang and Mark Coffey shows up on the stage, distracting Dunne so that Joe Coffey can powerbomb Pete Dunne through the table. Joe Coffey then holds the WWE United Kingdom Championship over a downed Pete Dunne to end the show.
