Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for January 18, 2019

KM vs. Caleb Konley ends in a no-contest. Backstage, an enraged "The Machine" Brian Cage threatens people on his way to the ring in search for Johnny Impact. He then gets involved in the math and takes out KM before doing the same to Konley. Fallah Bahh tries to fend off Cage, but he fares no better. Cage eventually hits KM with an F5 on the ramp before plowing through referee John E. Bravo with a clothesline and a Drill Claw. Cage then takes the microphone and calls Johnny Impact out, saying all the chaos he is creating is on his hands. He is enraged that Johnny reneged on his promise to give him the next world title shot, and says he will get a close look at next week's world title match. Johnny Impact shows up. Before he can respond to Cage, he is blindsided by Killer Kross and Moose, who lay him out on the stage. Kross and Moose back off as Cage approaches them, then Cage drags Johnny by the leg into the ring. Kross and Moose run back into the ring to ambush Cage, then Kross hits Johnny with a Doomsday Saito.

Ethan Page beats Eddie Edwards by disqualification after Eddie uses Kenny the Kendo stick during the match. After the match, Eli Drake leaves the commentary table and tells Eddie to look at what he has done to himself, and tells him that if he packs down a few more pancakes and beers, he will look like Tommy Dreamer. He tells Eddie that he used to be a champion wrestler, but now he has gone hardcore and it has not gotten him back into the title scene. Eli says it should be time to don the green tights and become the Eddie Edwards of old again. Eli then proposes a challenge to Eddie: drop the Kendo stick and find the champion that he used to be, for all he sees right now is a hardcore loser.
