Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for July 8, 2021

Kenny Williams beats Nathan Frazer after removing a turnbuckle cover and rams Nathan Frazer's arm into the exposed turnbuckle before hitting Bad Luck.

It is announced that A-Kid is injured as of last week's main event and that he is not medically cleared.

In footage from earlier today, Rampage Brown says training is going fantastic and that he is feeling his best. After the interview, Rampage runs into Joe Coffey as he walks into Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala's room. As both men mention they have a victory on each other, the camera is pushed out of the room when Sid Scala insists they discuss things privately.

We see a video package chronicling what happened last week between Meiko Satomura and Amale. Meiko Satomura says she wants to fight her and teach her respect, and Amale says she wants to show what she is capable of and become NXT UK Women's Champion.

Mark Andrews beats Lewis Howley to earn Subculture (Andrews, "Flash" Morgan Webster, Dani Luna) a shot at the NXT UK Tag Team Championships. During the match, Sam Stoker gets on the apron and distracts the referee, but "Flash" Morgan Webster and Dani Luna take him out. Andrews soon hits Stundog Millionaire on Howley followed by Fall To Pieces for the win.

In footage from earlier this week at the UK Peformance Center, Jack Starz is encouraged to keep on going in NXT UK. Starz then says he is doing okay, then "Bomber" Dave Mastiff shows up and tells Starz that people have taken notice of what he has done, and that if anyone wants to prove themselves in NXT UK, they will have to prove themselves through Starz.

Backstage, Tyler Bate says that Mark Coffey may have gotten involved in his business, but he knows what he and Wolfgang are doing, and if Coffey wants a match, all he has to do is ask.

Blair Davenport beats Laura DiMatteo in her NXT UK debut. After the match, Blair Davenport sas she has arrived in NXT UK, and says she has heard it has the best women's division on the planet and that it is no surprise that she chose to come here before putting the locker room on notice, saying they have not seen anyone who wrestles like her.

We hear from Jinny, who says that in a world of people who are overexposed, some people think it is best to remain a mystery. She says Aoife Valkryie tried to be a mystery, hiding in shadows and watching from a distance. She says that Aoife seemed untouchable until Meiko Satomura cracked her, and when she starts to break, that allows people to sneak into her psyche and destroy her. Jinny says she will expose Aoife for the weak, fragile little girl playing dress-up that she is, and she will not survive.

We hear from Teoman, who says that family means everything and family means loyalty. Rohan Raja thanks Teoman for looking after him, and Teoman says he is impressed by Raja for not giving up. He says that next week, they will face Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter and that it is Rohan Raja's time to look after their family. He asks Raja if he loyal to him, and Raja says he is forever loyal to Teoman.

We hear from Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala, who says that in two weeks, Ilja Dragunov will face Walter in a rematch for the NXT UK Championship. He also says there will be an in-ring press conference between the two men next week.

Trent Seven beats Eddie Dennis. During the match, Primate and T-Bone show up to get a closer look at the match, and eventually help pull Dennis out of the ring. When Trent Seven hits T-Bone and Dennis with a dive, Primate tries to get involved only to get chopped, and Seven hits the Burning Hammer for the win. After the match, Primate and T-Bone attack Trent Seven, and Tyler Bate runs intot he ring to help even the odds and even hit Primate with a pair on nunchaku.
