Money In The Bank 2021 - The LIVE Results

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat Rey and Dominik Mysterio to win the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships for the fourth time (and their seventh tag team titles overall) after Jey keeps his feet on Jimmy to give him leverage for a pinfall attempt and the referee cannot see it.

Nikki A.S.H. beats Asuka, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Zelina Vega, Natalya and Tamina in the women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match and wins the women's Money In The Bank contract after grabbing it while everyone (except Alexa Bliss, who is buried in ladders) fight each other on top of ladders.

Backstage, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) celebrate their tag team title win in Roman Reigns' dressing room. Roman says he is proud of them, and tells them to hold onto to the tag titles for now, then says winning the titles was the easy part. After saying that the bloodline is number one and draped in gold and that The Usos have gotten what they want, it's time for him to get what he wants. After The Usos acknowledge Roman as head of the table and tribal chief, the three men hug.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Omos retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships against The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik).

Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Drew McIntyre. McIntyre says that he is a position where he has to win, for the last time he was in Texas, he won the Royal Rumble to beat Brock Lesnar and become champion. He says that tonight is also his last opportunity at the WWE Championship. He says he will break bones and kick heads off as he climbs up the ladder to become Mr. Money In The Bank.

Bobby Lashley retains the WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston with the Hurt Lock after decimating Kofi to the point that he can barely defend himself.

Charlotte Flair beats Rhea Ripley to become the WWE Raw Women's Champion for the fifth time (and a 13-time champion in WWE) after ramming Rhea Ripley's head into the ring post, trapping her leg in the ring steps, booting the ring steps several time and putting her in the Figure Eight, causing Rhea Ripley to submit.

Backstage, Matt Riddle meets with King Nakamura and Rick Boogs. Riddle admires Rick's guiar playing skills, then says he wishes Randy Orton was here, saying that Orton is one of Rick's biggest fans. He then asks Rick to imagine Orton as a king, then asks him to play Orton's theme. Rick hesitates at first, saying he doesn't know how to play it, then says he lied and knows how to after all plays it. As everybody in the room rocks out, Kevin Owens watches from nearby and has no idea what he is looking at before heading to the ring for the next match.

Big E beats Ricochet, John Morrison, Matt Riddle, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, King Nakamura and Seth Rollins. During the match, Veer and Shanky grab McIntyre off the ladder and attack him, and Jinder Mahal attack McIntyre with a steel chair before demanding Veer and Shanky carry McIntyre to the back.

SummerSlam is coming live to WWE Network and Peacock on Saturday, August 21st!

Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews an angry Seth Rollins, who says his effort was not good enough and that his destiny was stolen from him tonight, much like Edge did not too long ago. Rollins says that he needs a new plan, then says that for whoever wins the Universal Championship, he is next in line.

Roman Reigns retains the WWE Universal Championship against Edge. During the match, referee Charles Robinson goes down after Edge hits him on the way down following a Superman Punch. Roman takes the bottom bar out of a steel chair and tries to use it as a weapon, but Edge fights back and uses it against him. As this goes on, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) head to the ring, but they are soon stopped by Rey and Dominik Mysterio shortly after medical staff take referee Charles Robinson to the back. Seth Rollins then shows up out of the crowd and kicks Edge in the back of the neck, but Edge is able to counter Roman's Spear with one of his own. After another referee shows up, Edge boots Seth Rollins off the apron when he gets back up, but Roman is able to hit him with the spear and win. After the match, Seth Rollins attacks Edge, then tells Roman that if it weren't for him, Edge would be champion. Edge gets up and brawls with Rollins in the stands. Afterwards, Roman says that the whole world can acknowledge him, then John Cena shows up, much to the irritation of Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman.
