After Dark Elevation - AEW Dark Elevation recap for July 19, 2021

We hear from Eddie Kingston and Penta el Zero M. Eddie Kingston says he and Penta are the first people to beat The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) in a year, then they got screwed over. He says that tonight, The Wingmen (JD Drake and Cezar Bononi) are going to pay for them getting screwed over for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Penta says that tonight, he will clip The Wingmen's wings and that he and Eddie will give them a makeover.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts guests on commentary for the next match.

Lance Archer beats Zachariah.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy) beat Chaos Project (Luther and Serpentico). After the match, The Bunny and The Blade show up with brass knuckles.

Hikaru Shida beats Dulce Tormenta.

We hear from Mark Sterling and Jade Cargill. Sterling announces that Hollywood has been brought to Jade Cargill, and introduces head of film and television at Activist Artist Management John Kanak to Cargill. Kanak wants to make sure that Cargill is in the room with the right people every step of the way, given the potential that Jade Cargill has. Sterling hands Kanak his business card, and says that this business relationship is going to be great.

Powerhouse Hobbs beats Lucas Chase.

Frankie Kazarian beats Baron Black with the rear naked choke. After the match, Brandon Cutler runs to the ring, but trips on the way in. This attracts Kazarian's attempt, and Kazarian levels him with a clothesline before spraying Cutler in the face with cool spray. Kazarian is about to leave when he returns to the ring and hits Cutler with another clothesline, then "The Big LG" Doc Gallows shows up and boots Kazarian in the face before hitting him with a choke bomb.

Backstage, we hear from Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs says "Absolute" Ricky Starks is a leader and team player, and tells "THe Machine" Brian Cage that bad things happen when he does not cooperate. He then tells Cage to stay home and never come back, for if he does come back, the same thing will happen again.

Jungle Boy beats Angelico with the Snare Trap.

Red Velvet beats Julia Hart.

The Gunn Club (Billy and Colten Gunn) beat Brock Anderson and "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson after Colten Gunn reverses an inside cradle from Lee Johnson into one of his own.

Luchasaurus beats Fuego del Sol. After the match, Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy raise Fuego del Sol's hand after checking on him.

Dante Martin beats "The Captain" Shawn Dean.

Tay Conti and Serena Deeb beat Vertvixen and Jazmin Allure with the Serenity Lock from Serena Deeb to Jazmin Allure.

Before the next match, Cezar Bononi says he is mad because the local traffic is keeping "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth from being here, and JD Drake says that while The Wingmen cannot make their opponents pretty, they can make their opponents ugly.

Penta el Zero Miedo and Eddie Kingston beat The Wingmen (JD Drake and Cezar Bononi). After the match, Penta says he is glad to be with the fans in Austin, Texas again and that he cannot wait to have another AEW Dynamite in the city. Eddie Kingston makes fun of the trouble he got into the last time he did a post-show promo, then thanks for the fans. He says that AEW took a chance on him and everyone in the locker room, which is why he says "AEW Forever." He then says "If you ain't with AEW, you ain't shit." He also says that he wants to see the fans of Austin, Texas again when AEW comes back.
