Best In The World 2021 - The Results

Rey Horus beats Demonic Flamita. After the match, Flamita attacks Rey Horus from behind, then walks off.

Kenny King shows up. He says it has been a long time, and that he hopes the fans are ready for the locker room has been waiting for over a year to perform for a live audience and prove that ROH is the top company for professonal wrestling. He then says he is the consigniere for La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dragon Lee, Kenny King, La Bestia del Ring), and says that since there are no championship opportunities for him, he is not performing in the right tonight. King says he will, however, play fortune teller, and says that La Faccion Ingobernable will win all the gold and that Dragon Lee will take the ROH World Television Championship back from Tony Deppen, saying that Deppen has less of a chance of beating Dragon Lee than the Baltimore Ravens have of beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as La Faccion Ingobernable is a weapon. He also says that Bandido is a peasant who won a tournament to get a shot at the ROH World Championship and does not belong in the ring with Rush. King then says that it is open season and that La Faccion Ingobernables will become dominant.

Matt Taven is in the ring. He says that last time he was in Baltimore, Maryland, The Righteous (Vincent, Bateman, Vita Von Starr, Dutch) sent him to the hospital for two surgeries. Since then, a lot of things have happened, but his memories have been ruined by someone he once called a friend, and as Taven says there is only one solution to this, The Righteous shows up. Vincent wants to know why he is sad and telling a sob story, as he has the attention he wanted. Before Vincent cannot say much else, Taven says that this place is not big enough for the two of them and that he has a contract for Night Two of Glory By Honor where they have one last match, as he will leave Ring of Honor forever if Vincent agrees to the match. Vincent says he does not want his career, as he built his career, but he does have something that he wants: a shot at the ROH World Championship. Taven also agrees to putting his shot at the World title on the line as long as Vincent agrees that this is the last match between them. Vincent says he has the keys now and that he will lock them both in the cage, effectively making this a steel cage match, as he agrees to the match. Taven then hits Vincent with the table in the ring before fending off the rest of The Righteous, but Vincent lays him out with a cheap shot. Bateman and Dutch then throw Taven through the neon sighn in the ladder, and Vincent tells Taven that he will bury him with his eyes above the surface to watch him become ROH World Champion after Taven buried him for four years as part of The Kingdom.



Quinn McKay reminds everyone to watch the weekly TV show and the weekly YouTube Week By Week show, then announces that the newly-minted ROH Women's Championship will be revealed for the first time as well as the fully-fledged bracket for the ROH Women's Championship tournament, which has one slot left.

Brian Zane guests on commentary for the next match.

Danhausen and PCO beat The Bouncers (The Beer City Bruiser and Brian Milonas). During the match, Sledge shows up to get a closer look at the match.





Before the next match, Brian Johnson says that The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) are going to get the beating their father should have given them, introduces the audience to PJ Black, and says that nobody in the back will be able to touch him after he beats The Briscoes.

The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) beat Brian Johnson and PJ Black.



It is announced that Jay Lethal will take "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams' place in tonight's ROH World Tag Team Championship match, as Williams is still not medically cleared after being hit by a car.

EC3 beats "The Mercenary" Flip Gordon by submission with The Purpose. After the match, Flip Gordon slaps EC3 in the face instead of shaking his hand, but EC3 offers his hand again. Flip slaps him again, and this starts a staredown where EC3 insists on shaking hands. Flip almost slaps him a third time, but spits in EC3's face and leaves.



Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Moses, Kaun) retain the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships against Dak Draper, Eli Isom and Dalton Castle after Eli Isom and Dalton Castle refuse to get along.



Josh "The Goods" Woods beats "The Last Real Man" Silas Young in a Last Man Standing Match after sending Silas through two tables with a German suplex off the ring apron.



Backstage, Quinn McKay interviews Matt Taven, who says that he wants a steel cage match with Vincent more than anything and that he will get exactly what he wants after the events of the last two years. Taven then says he will leave Vincent with scars that will last for the rest of his life.

Brody King beats Jay Lethal with two Gonzo Bombs.



Cary Silkin guests on commentary for the next match.

Jonathan Gresham retains the ROH Pure Championship againt Bennett by submission in 19:21.



Kenny King guests on commentary for the next match. Backstage, it is revealed that Jay Lethal cannot take part in the ROH World Tag Team Championship match after getting hurt in his match against Brody King, as Rhett Titus asks Jonathan Gresham to take Lethal's place. Gresham accepts.

Dragon Lee beats Tony Deppen to win the ROH World Television Championship for a scond time, becoming the fifth person to do so. After the match, Chris Dickinson and Homicide run into the ring to chase Dragon Lee and La Bestia del Ring away and check on Tony Deppen. As this goes on, Rhett Titus and Jonathan Gresham run in and attack Dickinson and Homicide to get th e next match started.



VLNCE UNLTD (Homicide and Chris Dickinson beat The Foundation (Rhett Titus and Jonathan Gresham) to become the ROH World Tag Team Champions!



Maria Kanellis-Bennett announces that former ring announcer Lenny Leonard - who is making his first appearance in ROH in twelve years - will be guest commentary for the ROH Women's Championship tournament. After it is mentioned there is still one spot left in the tournament, Maria brings out Chelsea Green - who is not medically cleared yet - who says that she is finally in Ring of Honor. She says she has spent the last two-and-a-half years being considered unworthy, and is now going after everything she was told she couldn't have and proving that she is enough. She also announces that the Maryland Athletic Commission has deemed her unfit to compete, then says she will watch all of the Women's Tournament matches and study everyone involved so she can show what she can do, prove she belongs here and become champion. She also considers the scars underneath her cast as proof that she is unstoppable, then states that when her cast comes off in one month, she will take the ROH women's division into the forefront of wrestling.



Bandido beats Rush to become the ROH World Champion after Rush tears at Bandido's mask and showboats after shoving referee Todd Sinclair only for Bandido to win with an O'Connor Roll. After the match, the rest of La Faccion Ingobernables (Kenny King, Dragon Lee, La Bestia del Ring) runs into the ring and attacks Bandido.
