Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for March 12, 2020

Finn Balor shows up to start tonight's show. He says he is not here to boost the ratings; instead, he is here to face Walter if Walter "has the balls" to face him. It does not take long for Walter to show up. Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel and Alexander Wolfe are not far behind, and Wolfe welcomes Finn Balor to "the domain of Imperium (Walter, Aichner, Barthel, Wolfe)" before the four of them surround the ring as part of "a proper welcome." Finn Balor not only overpowers them, but outsmarts them, and dives out of the ring.

In footage from earlier this week, Piper Niven says that she and Toni Storm are like sisters, and while they sometimes fight, she could not sit back and watch as Kay Lee Ray crippled Toni. She says that if she stopped the match, Toni would never speak to her again. Piper then says Kay Lee Ray is another matter, as Kay Lee Ray comes off to her as "evil" and somebody needs to do something.

We see a vignette for Tyler Bate.

Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley) beat Dereiss Gordon and Dan Moloney.

Backstage, General Manager Johnny Saint and Assistant Sid Scala are met by Alexander Wolfe, and they give him his match against Finn Balor for tonight immediately as soon as he demands it. Jordan Devlin then shows up, and he finds out that in two weeks, he will be defending the NXT Cruiserweight Championship against "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks on NXT UK.

In footage from earlier this week at the UK Performance Center, "Bomber" Dave Mastiff, "Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews are met by Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang). After trading members, they agree on a six-man tag match for next week.

Noam Dar beats Ligero.

Backstage, "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks says it would be great to beat Jordan Devlin for the Cruiserweight title given their history, and says that it was not his shoulders that Devlin pinned to the mat at Worlds Collide. Banks then promises that he will become the first Kiwi champion in NXT history.

Amale vs. Dani Luna ends after Kay Lee Ray runs in and tosses both women out of the ring. Kay Lee Ray says that since she has successfully gotten rid of Toni Storm, she is here to let the women's division know that the division belongs to her. Suddenly, she is attacked by Dani Luna, but Kay Lee Ray overpowers her and hits the Gory Bomb. Kay Lee Ray then restates that the NXT UK Women's Division belongs to her.

We see a vignette for Aoife Valkyrie.

Finn Balor beats Alexander Wolfe. During the match, the rest of Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel) show up to get a closer look at the match, but are ejected after Aichner and Barthel try to stop a corner drop kick from Finn Balor.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for November 28, 2019

Piper Niven beats Jinny. During the match, Jazzy Gabert gets caught by the referee getting involved in the match and is ejected. After the match, Piper Niven calls out Kay Lee Ray, telling her she is coming for the NXT UK Women's Championship. Kay Lee Ray then shows up and slaps Piper Niven, but Piper punches Kay Lee Ray in the face and hits her with a back suplex. Suddenly, Toni Storm shows up for the first time in months and fights Kay Lee Ray, and Kay Lee Ray flees through the crowd.

A returning Eddie Dennis beats Dereiss Gordon. During the match, Dennis mocks Trent Seven - who has trained Dereiss Gordon - by performing his signature roll into the ring as well as the Seven Star Lariat and the Seven Bridge.

Backstage, Radzi is confronted by Joseph Conners, who says that he is TakeOver-worthy, and to prove that, he is prepared to speak with General Manager Johnny Saint and get a Triple Threat Match with "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks and Ligero.

Noam Dar beats Ashton Smith.

Next week: A-Kid vs. Jordan Devlin! Joseph Connors vs. Ligero vs. "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks!

Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel, Alexander Wolfe) vs. Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) and Ilya Dragunov ends in a double count-out with both teams brawling all around the ring.
