Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for March 24, 2022



Die Familie (Rohan Raja and Charlie Dempsey) beat Saxon Huxley and A-Kid after Teoman yanks A-Kid off the top rope and shoves him into the barricade as Charlie Dempsey distracts the referee.

Backstage, we hear from Amale, who is soon interrupted by Xia Brookside, who wants a rematch. She says that Amale is inspiring after all, and wants a rematch. Amale says she will see what she can do, then leaves. After Xia refuses an interview, she is caught on camera talking to her father Robbie Brookside on the phone saying "It's time."

Wild Boar beats Tyson T-Bone, then chases Eddie Dennis to the back.

Backstage, we hear from Ilja Dragunov. Dragunov says "strong" is a word that he admires, as that is what he needed to be since he arrived and how he became NXT UK Champion. He says that he and Roderick Strong have the same mindset that diamonds are made under pressure, and says nobody can put him under pressure like Strong him and that it will be an honor to be in the ring with him. He then says that he is a diamond that does not crack under pressure.

WrestleMania 38 is nine days away!

In backstage footage from earlier ths week, Kenny Williams finds his car vandalized and says that when he finds out who is messing with him, they will pay. He then refuses to elaborate on whether or not this has anything to do with the note from last week.

In two weeks: Roderick Strong vs. Ilja Dragunov for the NXT UK Championship!

Jordan Devlin beats Danny Jones.

We see a video package for Ashton Smith vs. Trent Seven, which takes place next week.



We see a video package for Mark Coffey vs. Noam Dar for the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship, which takes place next week.



Next week: Xia Brookside vs. Amale!

Meiko Satomura retains the NXT UK Women's Championship against Isla Dawn with an inside cradle. After the match, Isla Dawn steals the NXT UK Women's Championship from the referee and runs to the back with it.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for March 25, 2021

It's time for SPRNVA Sessions to start tonight's show. Noam Dar talks about his NXT UK Heritage Cup #1 Contender's Match against Tyler Bate in two weeks' time, then introduces Trent Seven to the show by calling him a failure. Noam Dar continues to call Trent Seven a failure as he talks about his Cruiserweight Championship match last week, even as Trent Seven talks about what he has done to get in shape, then Noam Dar realizes he has never had a Cruiserweight title shot. As Noam Dar calls Trent Seven "an outsider" and says he is squandering every opportunity at the title, but Seven tells him to stop talking when he has been in NXT UK since day once and tells him to worry about Tyler Bate. Sha Samuels shows up and says that if Trent Seven has a problem with Noam, he has a problem with him. Trent says it has been a while since he was in Tyler Bate's corner, and challenges Sha Samuels to a match.

Backstage, Assistant Sid Scala tells Jinny that she and Piper Niven are barred from ringside as per General Manager Johnny Saint. Jinny insults Sid as she gets the message.

We see a video package previewing Rampage Brown vs. Walter for the NXT UK Championship, which will take place in two weeks.



Joseph Conners beats Jack Starz. Jinny and Piper Niven are banned from ringside for this match.

We hear from Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley). They announce that they will defend the NXT UK Tag Team Championships next week to start off "the never-ending era" of Pretty Deadly. They admit "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan are great, but they are not Pretty Deadly.

Backstage, Jack Starz meets up with Piper Niven. Piper says tomorrow is another day, and they will head back to the UK Performance Center and Jack will be back on top of his game before he knows it.

Primate and Tyson T-Bone beat Josh Morrell and Danny Jones.

In footage from earlier this week, "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan train for their NXT UK tag team title match next week. Williams says that Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley) will face a new Williams and Jordan, and Jordan says they will be dancing in the ring when they win the titles.

Isla Dawn beats Aleah James.

Backstage, Xia Brookside has Nina Samuels clean the men's bathroom for one last task.



Backstage during the break, Kay Lee Ray meets up with Isla Dawn, saying that is Isla Dawn had been more aggressive just like she was tonight, she would be in her position right now. When Isla Dawn stares her down, Kay Lee Ray walks away.



Ilja Dragunov beats Sam Gradwell in a no-disqualification match by referee stoppage when Gradwell inadvertently chops him in the back and Dragunov pounds him into unconsciousness.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for February 4, 2021

Nina Samuels beats Xia Brookside after throwing one of her bags into the ring and hitting Brookside with a handbag as the referee is distracted.

Backstage, Assistant Sid Scala is met by Jordan Devlin. Scala says he and General Manager Johnny Saint are looking into finding an opponent for him tonight.

WrestleMania 37 will take place on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11.

Backstage, Jack Starz says he is on a bit of a roll in NXT UK when Assistant Sid Scala has a word with him in private.

Joseph Conners beats Josh Morrell.

We see a vignette for Sha Samuels, who talks about his former job of being a butcher, his wrestling career of eighteen years and how he took Joe Coffey to the limit in his debut. He says he is here to hurt people, and hard graft starts now.



In footage from during the break, an angry Xia Brookside demands a rematch with Nina Samuels from Assistant Sid Scala.

Ilya Dragunov beats Tyson T-Bone. During the match, Sam Gradwell shows up to get a closer look at the match while mentioning Dragunov's match with Jack Starz, saying "Temper, temper" in order to mock him, and later on, Dragunov snaps on T-Bone after T-Bone chops him in the back as Gradwell mocks him. After the match, Gradwell mocks Dragunov some more, and Dragunov boots him in the face before referees have to calm him down.

Elimination Chamber is live on WWE Network on February 21st!

Joe Coffey beats Danny Jones. After the match, Coffey talks about how he crossed paths with Rampage Brown backstage, and tells Brown that if he wants to make a name for himself in NXT UK, he has to hit someone so hard they cannot get up, and says he is the last man standing for this is his kingdom. Rampage Brown shows up and tells Coffey all he had to do was ask, and says "Anytime, anywhere."

We see a video package chronicling the road to Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley) vs. Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships.



We see a video package chronicling the feud between The Hunt (Primate and Wild Boar) and the team of "Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews.

Next week! The Hunt (Primate and Wild Boar) vs. "Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews in a Street Fight! SPRNVA Sessions with Sha Samuels!



Before the next match, Jordan Devlin says that Assistant Sid Scala has looked for an opponent for him, but says that if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. When he asks for somebody willing to fight him to get in the ring, he gets "Bomber" Dave Mastiff. Devlin tells him this is a Cruiserweight Championship open challenge, but Mastiff says he knows Devlin is keeping the Cruiserweight Championship warm for Trent Seven, then says he is here to kick his head in before shoving him to the mat.

Jordan Devlin beats "Bomber" Dave Mastiff in a destructive match that sees Devlin weaken Mastiff's left knee and Mastiff dive through an outside barricade.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for January 21, 2021

Rampage Brown beats "The Bomber" Dave Mastiff.

We hear from A-Kid, who says that he is proud of how he represented the Heritage Cup against Walter, and while he came up short this time, next time will be different.



In footage from earlier today, Amir Jordan meets with "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams, who has arranged a singles match with Tyson T-Bone for Amir. Kenny tells Amir that he has faith in him to beat Tyson T-Bone.

Ilya Dragunov beats Jack Starz by referee stoppage after Starz chops Dragunov in the back of the neck, which cause Dragunov to snap and decimate Starz, knocking him out with a Torpedo Moscow to the back of the neck. After the match, Dragunov calms down and notices that he has decimated Jack Starz, and feels guilt for what he has done.

Next week: Ben Carter in action!

We hear from Sam Gradwell, who does not consider Ben Carter exciting and will see how exciting he is when he sends him back to Jersey.

Amir Jordan beats Tyson T-Bone after reversing a sit-down counter on a Sunset Flip into a pinfall attempt of his own.

In footage from earlier today, Xia Brookside says she beat Nina Samuels fair and square only for Nina to jump her after the match and cost her a match against Isla Dawn.

She says this is not "The Nina Samuels Show," and that after Nina has dragged her family's name through the mode, Nina will find out what the Brooksides are made of.

We see a video package chronicling the events leading up to a four-way tag team elimination match where the winners get a shot at the NXT UK Tag Team Championships between the team of "Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews, the team of Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith, Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley) and The Hunt (Wild Boar and Primate). That match is next week, and it is announced that Eddie Dennis is banned from accompanying The Hunt to the match.



Kay Lee Ray retains the NXT UK Women's Championship against Jinny. During the match, members of the NXT UK women's division, including Dani Luna and Amale, are seen watching the match from the video screens of the BT Sports Studio. Later on in the match, Joseph Conners distracts the referee as Kay Lee Ray goes for the Gory Bomb, and after Jinny hits The Makeover, Conners gets caught grabbing Kay Lee Ray's foot to stop a rope break. Conners is ejected, and he takes the Women's Championship with him. Kay Lee Ray stops Conners and slaps him, then Jinny tries to use the Women's Championship as a weapon only to fail when the referee catches her. Kay Lee Ray then hits the Gory Bomb to retain.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for January 30, 2020

Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch beat The Hunt (Wild Boar and The Primate).

Backstage during Worlds Collide, Toni Storm says Kay Lee Ray is still in her head, and it has to end.

Eddie Dennis shows up. Dennis boasts about what he did to Trent Seven at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II, and as he does so, Seven shows up and tells Dennis he is boring, a liar and a cheat after winning with the help of an exposed turnbuckle while removing a turnbuckle himself. He proposes they go again, and this time, all the turnbuckle pads will be removed and all four corners will be completely exposed as part of a Street Fight. Dennis tries to take a swing at Seven, but Seven ducks it and sends him out of the ring.

In footage from earlier this week at the UK Performance Center, A-Kid meets with Tyler Bate. Bate proposes they have a match next week, and A-Kid loves the idea.

Aoife (pronounced EE-fuh) Valkyrie debuts in two weeks.

Isla Dawn beats Nina Samuels.

Backstage during Worlds Collide, Ilja Dragonuv says he is looking for big battlegrounds and he got one from Finn Balor. Despite losing, he did not miss against Finn Balor. He then says he must refocus, as Joe Coffey is waiting and he will not miss again.

Backstage, Radzi interviews Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch, who says there are here in NXT UK to beat 'em up and throw 'em up. After beating The Hunt tonight, they are looking for tag team gold and they are up for a fight.

Ridge Holland beats Tyson T-Bone.

Next week: Tyler Bate vs. A-Kid! Trent Seven vs. Eddie Dennis in a Steel Corners Street Fight!

Imperium (Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel and Alexander Wolfe) beat Mark Andrews, "Flash" Morgan Webster and "The Bomber" Dave Mastiff following a run-in from Walter, despite Mastiff punching Walter in the face after Walter tries to run in and attack him for mocking him.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for November 7, 2019

Joe Coffey beats Tyson T-Bone.

Backstage, Alicia Taylor interviews Xia Brookside, who in unfazed by Kay Lee Ray, as she has been working hard and is ready to prove what she is made of.

We hear from Piper Niven, who talks about how she fell in love with professional wrestling when she was at home sick, her training, her NXT UK debut, and how she wants to be a role model for kids.

Isla Dawn beats Killer Kelly (who is in the ring for the first time since June).

We see a video package for next week's match between Tyler Bate and Kassius Ohno, who says he is showing how good pure European wrestling while everyone else is "doing what is cool." He then says that there is nobody else he wants to step into the ring with more than Tyler Bate, as Tyler Bate is respected by everybody and he plans to extinguish British Strong Style for good, something even Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel, Alexander Wolfe) cannot do.

Next week: Xia Brookside vs. Kay Lee Ray! "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks vs. Ligero!

Mark Andrews and "Flash" Morgan Webster vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) ends in a no-contest. During the match, Gallus (Mark Andrews and Wolfgang) show up to get a closer look at the match, and later, Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel) show up. Gallus and Imperium storm the ring and attack both teams, then confront each other. Alexander Wolfe shows up to stand with Imperium, then Joe Coffey shows up out of the crowd to stand with Gallus. Walter then shows up to stand with Imperium, then Ilya Dragunov shows up and seems to stand with Imperium only to change his mind and side with Gallus instead. Both sides then brawl to end the show.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for September 18, 2019

"The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks beats Tyson T-Bone with a small package.

Backstage, Radzi announces that there has been no sign of Toni Storm, then Wolfgang and Mark Coffey show up. Mark says that they were never beaten at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff, then says that as far as they are concerned, they are still #1 contenders for the NXT UK tag team titles and they are going to take the titles for their kingdom.

Rhea Ripley quickly beats Debbie Kietel. After the match, she says it is about time that she takes the NXT UK Women's Championship back, as there is nobody who can break her mentally or compete with her physically. Suddenly, Jinny and Jazzy Gabert show up, and Jinny says that Ripley's fashion is "just so '90s" and that all her achievements are from the past where she belongs just like her clothes. Jinny says she is the future and that she will become the next NXT UK Women's Champion, but that is the future, and in the present, she has a bigger problem for Ripley to deal with: Jazzy Gabert. Jinny sics Jazzy on Ripley, but Ripley kicks her off the apron and dares her to get in the ring. Jinny holds Jazzy back, and the two of them retreat.

In footage from earlier today, Trent Seven is met by Noam Dar, who calls him a "dafty" through a megaphone. When he says that British strong style is dead, Seven tells him to grow up, but Noam Dar says "RIP BSS," causing Seven to confront him again. Two officials have to hold both men back.

We see a video package for Cesaro vs. Ilya Dragonuv from NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff.

We hear from Oliver Carter, who says that he is going for the win next week.

In footage from earlier today, Kay Lee Ray says that Tegan Nox has two broken knees and that she will take her on any time she wants. The match is made official for two weeks' time.

Next week: Trent Seven vs. Noam Dar!

Kassius Ohno bearly beats Sid Scala in a British Rounds Match with a single fall.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for August 28, 2019

Ilya Dragunov beats Tyson T-Bone.

In footage from earlier today, "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher asks who the better British wrestler: him or Kassius Ohno. He says that Ohno decided to complicate matters last time by moving his foot off the rope after the match, and next week, he plans to prove Ohno wrong.

Joseph Conners beats the debuting Oliver Carter.

In footage from last week, Cesaro says he is not just flying to China, but he is paying a visit to Cardiff, Wales after hearing a lot of things about NXT UK to find out firsthand what it is all about and maybe take a "hands-on approach."

Next week: Piper Niven vs. Rhea Ripley!

Jordan Devlin beats "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams.

Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) shows up. Zach Gibson takes exception to their match at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff being made a triple threat match, but it is not long before Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) shows up. As Gibson says the only thing worse is "Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews showing up, Andrews and Wesbter show up and attack Grizzled Young Veterans. The show ends with a three-way brawl.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for July 17, 2019

Assistant Sid Scala starts the show by announcing that the following things will take place tonight: Saxon Huxley and Tyson T-Bone vs. Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel), Xia Brookside vs. Jinny, a word from Toni Storm and the main event of Mark Andrews vs. Kassius Ohno.

Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel) beat Saxon Huxley and Tyson T-Bone.

Backstage, Radzi interviews "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks. Banks is devastated he came up short, but he is hitting the reset button and this is just the beginning for him.

Jinny beats Xia Brookside after Jinny collides the ref, hitting him in the arm. This allows Jazzy Gabert to grab at Xia Brookside, and the distraction is enough for Jinny to get the win despite Jinny's boasting that she can win without Jazzy's help early in the match.

Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel, Alexander Wolfe) is interviews. Barthel says that British Strong Style has fallen, and that Trent Seven is the only one left. Wolfe says that Imperium has done what they set out to do, and if Trent Seven wants to fight Walter, then Walter accepts. Walter states that he will break Trent Seven's back just like he did to Tyler Bate.

We hear from "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams, who states that he has gotten in touch with General Manager Johnny Saint, and that he will face Noam Dar next week. He has the doctors on stand-by as he proves that you don't need dirty trick to win next week.

In footage from after last week's show, Joe Coffey says that wild animals can be tamed, and that he plans to tame "Bomber" Dave Mastiff in a one-on-one match.

Toni Storm shows up. Storm says that for the longest time, she thought that Kay Lee Ray was one of her best friends after she took her under her wing, but with the way things are going, she wants to know what happened to Kay Lee Ray. She says that Kay Lee Ray has gone from being the first person to help someone to the first person to hurt someone to get her attention, and she is sick of her mind games. Kay Lee Ray shows up and says everyone knows that she has her championship opportunity and that she is a bit more prepared, and proposes that they have their match right now. She then says that is not happening, as she is going to make her wait until NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff, and until she takes the NXT UK women's title, she plans to make Toni Storm's life a living hell.

Backstage, Assistant Sid Scala announces that the first-ever six-woman tag team match in NXT UK history will take place next week. Kay Lee Ray will team with Jinny and Jazzy Gabert, while Toni Storm will team with Xia Brookside and Piper Niven.

Mark Andrews beats Kassius Ohno with a victory roll.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for June 5, 2019

The Hunt ("Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman and "The Primate" Jay Melrose beat Tyson T-Bone and Saxon Huxley. After the match, The Hunt are attacked by Mark Coffey and Wolfgang.br />

NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff is announced for August 31st at 2 PM Eastern/7 PM GMT live on the WWE Network!

Kay Lee Ray beats Kasey Owens.

We see a vignette for Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel).

Backstage, Radzi interviews Jinny and Jazzy Gabert. Jinny says a woman of wealth knows what to do to have things work in her favor, and when she saw Jazzy at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool, she knew she would have to either face her or befriend her. While she is attractive, she is not just a pretty face, and she has the intelligence to make it to the top. Jinny then says that if anyone thinks they can get in her way, Jazzy will take care of them.

Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) show up. Zack Gibson says they were begged not to come to the ring, but he has something to get off his chest. He says he has been just told by management that they have to defend the NXT UK tag team titles at the Download Festival, and General Manager Johnny Saint expects them to be there because the people want to see it. Gibson says this is absolutely rotten, and that Johnny Saint should treat his champions with some respect, for when they are unhappy, it does not take long for the rest of the locker room to be unhappy. He tells Saint to sort it out.

Tyler Bate is featured in the July edition of Men's Health UK.

Next week: Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) and Pete Dunne vs. Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel)!

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for March 13, 2019

Assistant Sid Scala and General Manager Johnny Saint announce the debut of Kay Lee Ray and the main event of Gallus (Joe and Mark Coffey) vs. Walter and Pete Dunne in an interview.

Wolfgang beats "Flash" Morgan Webster. After the match, the referee stops Wolfgang from attacking Webster further.

We see a vignette for Kassius Ohno, who says that the one person coming into NXT UK in 2019 is an American, that the current crop of British wrestlers are "phonies" for being introduced to wrestling by American stars and that he looks forward to teaching the NXT UK roster the British style.

"The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan beat Tyson T-Bone and Saxon Huxley.

In footage from earlier today, Jinny says she is sick and tired of hearing Toni Storm's name, as the NXT UK Women's Championship is all she cares about and she is the only person who deserves the spotlight.

In footage from earlier today, Eddie Dennis says he will return next week "from exile" to take on Ligero. While he respects Ligero, he is in the wrong place at the wrong time, as he plans to take the roster down one by one and Ligero is just the first victim.

Noam Dar shows up. Noam says it so good to be back in NXT UK, and this time, he is here to stay. While he has been traveling the world with 205 Live and showing his talents, he has kept an eye on NXT UK, which he says has been doing pretty good. He says it will do even better when NXT UK heads to Glasglow, Scotland, and says he has been here since the start and watching from afar as everyone jockeyed for position to fill his big golden boots. He admits they have been doing an okay job, but NXT UK needs him, and he is now officially part of the brand - not some 205 Live special guest appearance - and NXT UK is not ready for him. Mark Andrews shows up in response to Noam Dar's remarks, and Dar tries to get a cheap shot in. Andrews ducks and forced Noam Dar to retreat.

We hear from Xia Brookside. While Brookside is a revered name in British wrestling, it has been a blessing and a curse. She overcame bullies and stood up for herself, and says Rhea Ripley is the biggest bully in NXT UK. She says that Rhea has been a bully to her since day one, but she is not the same Xia Brookside, and next week, Rhea will learn that the hard way.

"Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman and "Primate" Jay Melrose are in action next week.

Kay Lee Ray beats Candy Floss in her NXT UK debut.

We hear from Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven), who says the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is done with. However, they still look forward to their rematch with Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake). While Zack Gibson is not medically cleared, Tyler Bate wants a match with James Drake in NXT UK as Moustache Mountain takes care of business.

General Manager Johnny Saint and Assistant Sid Scala announce that Tyler Bate vs. James Drake is official for next week. Afterwards, they head out to watch this week's main event.

Pete Dunne and Walter beat Gallus (Joe and Mark Coffey) after Gallus' use of the WWE United Kingdom Championship as a weapon fails. After the match, Pete Dunne tries to pick up the WWE United Kingdom Championship, but Walter steps on it before personally handing it to Dunne.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for January 9, 2018 - Episode Two

Ligero beats Joseph Conners.



Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews James Drake and Zack Gibson. Gibson declares that he and Gibson are undefeated, and Gibson says that they feel so confident that they have already cleared a spot on their mantelpiece for the titles. He also announces that there will be an early celebration on Facebook Live before Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) meet their downfall and they cement themselves as the best tag team in NXT UK and the very first NXT UK Tag Team Champions.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for December 26, 2018 - Episode One

Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala is in the ring to start tonight's show. He introduces General Manager Johnny Saint to the ring. For the first time in the brand's history, NXT UK will be live from Blackpool, England on the WWE Network. Suddenly, Toni Storm shows up, and says she has been living in Liverpool, England for the past five years before running down what she's done in WWE lately. Due to her Mae Young Classic victory, she is owed a championship opportunity of her choosing, and she announces that she will challenge for the NXT UK Women's Championship at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool. Johnny Saint tells Toni she's got her title match. Toni says that the title is hers and that it is "Toni Time."



Jordan Devlin beats "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams. After the match, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Devlin, who tells Radzi to take a knee before gloating about his victory before announcing he has made it a mission to call out all the fakes and pretenders. He says that his next target is an embarrassment to his country and that he will soon learn that you never bet against "The Ace."

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews General Manager Johnny Saint and assistant Sid Scala when Rhea Ripley shows up and says that she decides who she wants to face. She also wants to defend her title next week, and demands an opponent. Saint and Scala have a moment, and they tell Rhea Ripley that they have an opponent for her who will be debuting next week: Deonna Purrazzo. Rhea Ripley tells Sid Scala she still doesn't like him, then leaves. Johnny Saint says "What can ya do?"

Eddie Dennis beats Dan Moloney by disqualification after "Bomber" Dave Mastiff attacks Eddie Dennis at ringside. After the match, Dan Moloney confronts Mastiff only to get elbowed in the face, who then hits a somersault senton into the corner to send a message to Dennis.

General Manager Johnny Saint and Sid Scala are talking to Ligero. Ligero thanks Scala and General Manager Johnny Saint, then Joe Coffey shows up with the rest of Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) and says it's not about Ligero or his opportunity; it is about him and the NXT UK Championship as they will send him into the hospital. Scala tells Coffey to focus on his match, then tells the rest of Gallus to focus on their own match, as they are in the tag team title semi-finals in two weeks against Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven). Gallus leaves, then Ligero thanks Johnny Saint and Sid Scala and says that he will prove his worth tonight.

Zack Gibson gives James Drake a tour of Liverpool, England, and says he is so big that if he were to leave, Liverpool would crumble. He says the people of Liverpool will have their eyes on them when they win the NXT UK tag titles, as Liverpool needs him more than he needs Liverpool.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Isla Dawn, who admits she came up short against Rhea Ripley but is prepared to rise up, dust off the ashes and continue on her path to the NXT UK Women's Championship. Suddenly, Jinny shows up and says nobody cares about Isla Dawn or her path and that Isla Dawn blew it, and claims she would have walked out NXT UK Women's Champion as that is the difference between a witch and a queen.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for December 19, 2018 - Episode One

Jordan Devlin beats "Wild Boar" Hitchman. After the match, Jordan Devlin asks the fans when they will learn that when you bet on him, it's not a gamble, because the ace trumps all.



We see footage from earlier today where Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven and Tyler Bate)are interviewed outside of the arena. Trent Seven says NXT UK has kicked off in a good way, and tonight, Saxon Huxley and Tyson T-Bone get dealt with. Tyler Bate says that they and Pete Dunne have beef with Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mike Coffey, Wolfgang), but once that is over with, they will be focused on the NXT UK tag team titles.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Mark Andrews and "Flash" Morgan Webster. Flash says victory against Zack Gibson and James Drake next week would be great, as they want the tag team gold. Andrews say he and Flash embody everything in NXT UK, which is the most exciting brand today, as they are the most exciting performers there. Andrews and Flash both agree there is no glass ceiling here and the sky is the limit.

Fabian Aichner beats "The English Lion" Eddie Ryan.

We hear from "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks, who tells Joe Coffey that he should have gotten the job done with him. Now his eyes are solely set on him, and instead of the UK Championship, Coffey should be worried about him. Banks says Coffey's oversight will be his downfall, and that Coffey is the first on his list.

Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven and Tyler Bate) beat Saxon Huxley and Tyson T-Bone.



Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews "Bomber" Dave Mastiff, who says that last week was incredibly brutality, and that he brings brutality to NXT UK. From here, he is focused on the United Kingdom Championship. Suddenly, Mastiff is attacked by Eddie Dennis, who says that it is far from over between them.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for December 5, 2018 - Episode Two

Joseph Conners beats Dan Moloney.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Isla Dawn, who says that who she is and everything she does comes from a place of honesty and truth and a place of spirit, and those are the qualities she has to become a champion. Rhea Ripley shows up and says she asked for suitable competition, and says she already found an opponent for tonight. She tells Isla Dawn to watch her match tonight very, very closely.

We see footage from earlier today where Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mike Coffey, Wolfgang) confronts Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) outside of the arena. General Manager Johnny Saint and tells Gallus to go away as security and assistant manager Sid Scala get between the two teams.

"Bomber" Dave Mastiff beats "Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman.



Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews "Bomber" Dave Mastiff, who says that he feels great and that "Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman was a great opponent. As for himself, he is heading to the top. Meanwhile, Eddie Dennis watches Mastiff from behind.

Ligero beats Tyson T-Bone.

We see a video package for Rhea Ripley, who is up next.

Rhea Ripley shows up. She says she is all about opportunities, as she took her opportunity and became the first-ever NXT UK Women's Champion. Now, she has hand-picked someone from the back to have the opportunity of a lifetime: Candy Floss.

Rhea Ripley beats Candy Floss. After the match, Rhea Ripley helps Candy Floss, raises her hand, then attacks her from behind before tossing her out of the ring.



We see footage from earlier today where "Flash" Morgan Webster does a backstage interview when he confronts Fabian Aichner for his match against Mark Andrew last week. Aichner challenges him to a match and leaves. Webster takes the challenge.

We hear from General Manager Johnny Saint and assistant manager Sid Scala. Next week, Trent Seven will face Joe Coffey, and there will be an update on the NXT UK Tag Team Championships.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for November 21, 2018 - Episode Two

Rhea Ripley beats Dakota Kai to advance to the finals of the NXT UK Women's Championship Tournament.



Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Sid Scala, who has just spoken to General Manager Johnny Saint. He will face Joe Coffey in two weeks when he is medically cleared to compete, and he will make the most of this opportunity.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Jordan Devlin, who makes it clear that he called out Pete Dunne for the United Kingdom Championship, and says previous title challengers were unwilling to do what it took to get the job done. When he wins the title, there will be some work to do and that NXT UK will be known as "NXT Ireland featuring the UK."

"Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews beat Joseph Conners and Saxon Huxley after Huxley refuses to take Conners into the match. Conners takes his frustration out on Huxley and attacks him after the match is over.

"Bomber" Dave Mastiff beats Tyson T-Bone.



Next week: Jordan Devlin vs. Pete Dunne for the WWE United Kingdom Championship!

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for November 14, 2018 - Episode Two

Dakota Kai beats Nina Samuels to advance to the semi-finals of the NXT UK Women's Championship Tournament.



Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Mark Andrews. Andrews says he has bigger things on his mind, and he wants a championship around his waist. "Flash" Morgan Webster shows up and says he wants gold, and wants to team with him for tag team gold. After Webster leaves, Andrews says he has a very good point.

In footage from earlier today, Ashton Smith is determined to soldier on in NXT UK when Eddie Dennis shows up and tells him to catch him next week. Dennis leaves, and Smith considers it.

Tyson T-Bone beats Jake Constantinou. After the match, Tyson T-Bone asks if Constantinou is the best NXT UK has to offer him, saying Constantinou was a joke before he leaves. Suddenly, "Bomber" Dave Mastiff shows up, and Tyson T-Bone stares him down as Mastiff approaches the ring. Mastiff then tells Tyson "You want the best NXT UK has to offer? Watch this."

"Bomber" Dave Mastiff quickly beats Dan Moloney as Tyson T-Bone watches from the ramp.

Backstage, Radzi Chinyanganya interviews Sid Scala. Scala knows he needs to go back to the drawing board, but he needs one more opportunity. He realizes he needs to talk with General Manager Johnny Saint about that opportunity.

Jinny beats Millie McKenzie to advance to the semi-finals of the NXT UK Women's Championship Tournament.



Next week: Ligero vs. Jordan Devlin!

Before the next match, Zack Gibson tries to put The Beatles and Liverpool FC on a pedestal, but he is interrupted by Trent Seven's entrance.

Zack Gibson beats Trent Seven with a small package. During the match, Tyler Bate shows up as Zack Gibson tries to bail out of the match, keeping Gibson from getting out of the match. Later on, James Drake shows up and throws Tyler Bate into the nearby steel steps before holding on to Zack Gibson's hand during a small package to give Gibson leverage for a win. After the match, The Coffey Brothers (Joe and Mark Coffey) and Wolfgang rush in from the crowd to annihilate both Tyler Bate and Trent Seven.
