Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for July 10, 2019

Ilya Dragunov beats Ashton Smith.

Backstage, Radzi interviews Xia Brookside, who says that she has been overcoming adversity, but that Jinny is the source of her problems. She says Jinny likes to hide behind bigger people, but next week, she has a fair one-on-one match to prove that Jinny is just a coward.

We hear from Nina Samuels at Download Festival as she interviews fans and tries not to step in mud.

Toni Storm beats Candy Floss. After the match, Kay Lee Ray attacks Candy Floss on the stage. Toni Storm runs after Kay Lee Ray, then checks on Candy Floss. After the match, Kay Lee Ray attacks Candy Floss on the stage. Toni Storm runs after Kay Lee Ray, then checks on Candy Floss.

We hear from Ligero, who says that he has stood out and become memorable, but that has not translated into wins and that winning has evaded him. He says he has to reawaken his fire, for there is always a way back.

Trent Seven shows up. Trent says he has to accept the fact that Pete Dunne has his hands full elsewhere and that Tyler Bate is hospitalized and now injured. However, he is here, and has been from the very start. He says that British Strong Style - and the fans - built NXT UK to what it is today, and says that the mat belongs to the fans and that tradition is a front for Imperium to bend the rules as they see fit and put Tyler Bate in the hospital. Trent says he will be cutting the head of the snake, and that he will be coming for Walter, saying this will be for Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, the Trent Seven Army and NXT UK.

In front from earlier today, Mark Andrews says it is great to see some of his favorite wrestlers growing up in NXT UK, but with Kassius Ohno telling him he does not belong here, he will prove he does by going through him next week.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for March 13, 2019

Assistant Sid Scala and General Manager Johnny Saint announce the debut of Kay Lee Ray and the main event of Gallus (Joe and Mark Coffey) vs. Walter and Pete Dunne in an interview.

Wolfgang beats "Flash" Morgan Webster. After the match, the referee stops Wolfgang from attacking Webster further.

We see a vignette for Kassius Ohno, who says that the one person coming into NXT UK in 2019 is an American, that the current crop of British wrestlers are "phonies" for being introduced to wrestling by American stars and that he looks forward to teaching the NXT UK roster the British style.

"The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan beat Tyson T-Bone and Saxon Huxley.

In footage from earlier today, Jinny says she is sick and tired of hearing Toni Storm's name, as the NXT UK Women's Championship is all she cares about and she is the only person who deserves the spotlight.

In footage from earlier today, Eddie Dennis says he will return next week "from exile" to take on Ligero. While he respects Ligero, he is in the wrong place at the wrong time, as he plans to take the roster down one by one and Ligero is just the first victim.

Noam Dar shows up. Noam says it so good to be back in NXT UK, and this time, he is here to stay. While he has been traveling the world with 205 Live and showing his talents, he has kept an eye on NXT UK, which he says has been doing pretty good. He says it will do even better when NXT UK heads to Glasglow, Scotland, and says he has been here since the start and watching from afar as everyone jockeyed for position to fill his big golden boots. He admits they have been doing an okay job, but NXT UK needs him, and he is now officially part of the brand - not some 205 Live special guest appearance - and NXT UK is not ready for him. Mark Andrews shows up in response to Noam Dar's remarks, and Dar tries to get a cheap shot in. Andrews ducks and forced Noam Dar to retreat.

We hear from Xia Brookside. While Brookside is a revered name in British wrestling, it has been a blessing and a curse. She overcame bullies and stood up for herself, and says Rhea Ripley is the biggest bully in NXT UK. She says that Rhea has been a bully to her since day one, but she is not the same Xia Brookside, and next week, Rhea will learn that the hard way.

"Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman and "Primate" Jay Melrose are in action next week.

Kay Lee Ray beats Candy Floss in her NXT UK debut.

We hear from Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven), who says the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is done with. However, they still look forward to their rematch with Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake). While Zack Gibson is not medically cleared, Tyler Bate wants a match with James Drake in NXT UK as Moustache Mountain takes care of business.

General Manager Johnny Saint and Assistant Sid Scala announce that Tyler Bate vs. James Drake is official for next week. Afterwards, they head out to watch this week's main event.

Pete Dunne and Walter beat Gallus (Joe and Mark Coffey) after Gallus' use of the WWE United Kingdom Championship as a weapon fails. After the match, Pete Dunne tries to pick up the WWE United Kingdom Championship, but Walter steps on it before personally handing it to Dunne.

After the match, Rhea Ripley runs into the ring and slams Candy Floss, and while Xia Brookside fights Ripley, she fares no better, and Rhea Ripley swings her around before Toni Storm runs in to fight Ripley off. As Toni headbutts Ripley multiple times, Ripley drags Xia between them and Toni accidentally headbutts Xia. Ripley then gets the upper hand on Toni Storm.

Joseph Conners beats "Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman.

Backstage, Joe Coffey tells the rest of Gallus that tonight, he will take down Ashton Smith, Mark Coffey will send Walter back to the slopes of Austria later, and Wolfgang will take down Pete Dunne, for NXT UK is their kingdom.

We see a vignette for Jinny, then a backstage interview with Jinny. Jinny tells Radzi he looks hideous, then says that while the NXT UK Women's Division is full of talented women, Toni Storm constantly gets in her way. Regardless of who is left standing at Worlds Collide, it will only be a matter of time until the real queen of NXT UK is crowned.

Next week: Jinny vs. Mia Yim!

During the match, Mark Coffey then waves for Joe Coffey, who shows up, but Pete Dunne shows up to even the numbers and brawl with Joe, getting the upper hand and allowing Moustache Mountain maintains momentum and advances to the finals of the NXT UK Tag Team Championship Tournament at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool. After the match, Gallus attacks Moustache Mountain, and Pete Dunne fends them off. He and Moustache Mountain clear the ring and stand tall to end the show.
