She tells Brookside that if she wants to be taken seriously and prove she belongs, then she should find a partner and meet them in the ring, then they will see if she will take her revenge when it is gift-wrapped. He says that it was all true and that it was all because of him. He says that when he was TNA World Champion, all the shows were selling out and all the merchandise was selling, but then The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) slid on in and took all the credit and tried to drive a wedge between him and his brother Ryan. Backstage, Director of Authority Santino Marella talks with Kevin Knight when Bully Ray takes Santino aside and tells him that he needs him help with PCO, saying he is a bad man who will not go away after everything he has done to him and wanting to know why he is in a no-disqualification match. When Moose and Brian Myers show up, Bully Ray goes from begging to being a tough guy, then leaves. Myers then asks for a match with Alex Shelley for tonight, and when he gets it, he finds out it is not for the World Championship and that Santino will have to tell Shelley about the match first. Moose then says Shelley will say no because he is a coward, just like how KUSHIDA is a coward, which gets Kevin Knight's attention. Santino then makes a match between Moose and Kevin Knight. After Myers says he just wanted a World title match against Shelley, Santino entertains the idea of asking Shelley if he wants to defend his title against Myers. Shelley soon shows up and says "Yep." Santino then makes Myers vs. Shelley next week for the IMPACT World Championship.

Killer Kelly beats Jessicka and Savannah Evans in a three-way match.

We hear from Dirty Dango and John E. Bravo. Dango says the problem with Jake Something is his last night, and says that if he has something going on other than being the loudest guy in the gym, he wouldn't be working outlaw mudshows, he would be ranked in the PWI 500, and he would not be allergic to money. We see a music video/training montage of Joe Hendry and Yuya Uemura getting on the same page.

We see part two of Tom Hannifan's interviews with Crazzy Steve. Steve talks about growing up in a broken home in a trailer park in a small town. He says that his father was hard-working but an alcoholic, and that most of the abuse was mental before escalating to physical violence, which only lasted for a short time before he ended it by his own hands. He says that his other was his biggest fan and supporter, but she never lived a healthy day in her life after he was born to kidney failure, cancer and depression, and while she did her best to look after him and he did his best to look after her, but it is hard to explain to a five-year-old what dialysis. Despite all that, she supported him and his dream to become a famous pro wrestler, and he would grind and work hard for twelve years in the hopes of one day signing a contract with IMPACT. In March of 2014, that dream came true, but while it should have been the best day of his life, his mother took her own life three weeks before he signed the contract. He then said that he was told he would look like a clown and make the fans happy, but he was anything but happy, for his mother will never be able to see him perform in an IMPACT Wrestling ring. Steve goes on to say that people might see this as theater, but he is no clown and he is not crazy. Tom Hannifan tells Steve that he believes him and that he and his fans have never heard this story, then asks why he is telling this story now before asking what the future holds in store for him.

Backstage, we hear from Chris Sabin. He says he looked forward to Lio Rush being in the X Division, but Rush does not represent honor, respect and hard work as he attacks people from behind. After he says that he will come for Lio Rush and the X Division Championship, Samuray del Sol shows up saying he wants revenge against Lio Rush. Sabin says Lio Rush is nowhere to be found, but tells him that if he wants to make an impact, they can have a match next week. Samuray del Sol accepts the challenge.

Bully Ray beats Black Taurus in a no-disqualification match after Black Taurus misses on a top rope twisting senton and landing spine-first on a ladder. After the match, the lights go out and lightning strikes, and when the lights come back on, PCO is behind Bully Ray. Bully Ray grabs PCO and puts him through a table, but PCO gets right back up and scares Bully Ray out of his wits.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Eddie Edwards. Eddie says Alisha Edwards is a bad-ass, and while she is beaten up and hurt, she will be fine. He says that he will not allow Alisha in the building as long as Frankie Kazarian is around. Kazarian shows up, and security steps in as Kazarian says it was an accident and that he told Traci Brooks to stay at home for this very reason. Kazarian then proposes that they end this, and Eddie agrees, with Kazarian proposing they end it at Killer Kowalski's wrestling school. Eddie agrees to these terms of engagement.

The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) beat Sami Callihan and Rich Swann to advance in the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships #1 Contender's Tournament after Trey spray paints Sami in the face to block the Cactus Driver as the referee checks on Swann on the outside, allowing The Rascalz to hit the Hot Fire Flame for the win.

Alan Angels beats Crazzy Steve in the BTI match. During the match, Angels demands to ring announcer Jade Chung that he be known as "Windsor's favorite wrestler," but Crazzy Steve responds by having Jade Chung ask the fans if they want to see him take "Windsor's favorite wrestler" and bite his face off. After the match, Angels is hit from behind by Heath with a Wake-Up Call.

Scott D'Amore is in the ring to start tonight's show. D'Amore thanks the crowd for their support and making Slammiversary one of the greatest nights of his life, and says that standing in the ring with A1, Eric Young and Darren McCarty is a moment he will remember forever. He then announces that since his politics with Bully Ray are over, so is his leave of office, and with Santino Marella getting ready to face Dirty Dango tonight, he is the acting Director of Authority. He also announces that we will hear from "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander for the first time since his return at Slammiversary, and that ABC ("Inevitable" Ace Austin and Chris Bey) will have their tag team title rematch against Subculture (Mark Andrews and "Flash" Morgan Webster) tonight. As he is announcing that Jake Something is here tonight, The Good Hands show up. John Skyler calls D'Amore "a typical Canadian" and a coward by hiding behind his position of authority before they can hand him a receipt. D'Amore dares them to get in the ring, which they do, and Jason Hotch calls D'Amore a thorn in The Good Hands' side as well as a roadblock before Skyler says D'Amore is overdue for a beating from them. D'Amore responds by saying that "good hands need to throw down," then announces their opponents for tonight: Rich Swann and Sami Callihan, who head to the ring for the next match.

Rich Swann and Sami Callhan beat The Good Hands (John Skyler and Jason Hotch).

Backstage, we hear from ABC ("Inevitable" Ace Austin and Chris Bey). He tells The Rascalz to go somewhere else and that they will take their titles back. The Rascalz show up, and Trey Miguel wants a fight. Chris Bey stops Ace Austin at first, but then he throws the first punch. Security stops the brawl, and Scott D'Amore ejects The Rascalz from the arena. Johnny Swinger and "Outlandish" Zicky Dice then show up, and Swinger asks what he has to do to get a win. D'Amore admits the "fifty wins" idea was misguided, and says that if Swinger wins one match, he has a title shot. He then says the match is against Zicky, and if he loses, he is gone from Impact. Zicky tells Swinger he will lay down for him when D'Amore leaves, then D'Amore comes back and makes the match a Loser Leaves IMPACT match, putting Zicky's job at IMPACT on the line as well.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Eric Young, who says it feels "amazing" and "right" to be back home and that he has a story to tell and a history to address. He says that as much as he loves history and tradition, he loves change, then "The National Treasure" Nick Aldis shows up. Aldis welcomes him back and admits he does not like his loss from Slammiversary, then says that they both know each other and that he has a colleague in his war against Internet darlings who want to take over the company. Eric Young says he has mentioned what his new direction is, and while Nick Aldis has some good points and history is beautiful, he says that neither of them will be put in a box before saying they can have a match as part of "a beautiful history." Aldis and Eric shake hands.

We hear from Jake Something, who says that he is back and that everything in IMPACT will be his.

Jake Something beats Kevin Knight.

Courtney Rush beats Savannah Evans after Jessicka pulls "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw off the apron to stop her distracting the referee while Jody Threat shows up and carries Jai Vidal off after grabbing him by the ponytail.

We hear from The Coven (Taylor Wilde and KiLynn King) Taylor Wilde is irritated that Trinity is IMPACT Knockouts World Championship, and says that she and KiLynn King got screwed by Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly, now known as "MK Ultra." KiLynn King tells Dani Luna and Trinity that they are coming to kick their asses and make a statement, and Taylor Wilde says The Coven does not need batteries to glow.

IMPACT Wrestling thanks Windsor, Ontario, Canada, St. Clair College, Windsor Councillor Renaldo Agostino for their hospitality as last weekend was proclaimed and declared "IMPACT Wrestling Weekend" in the city of Windsor by Councillor Agostino. It is also announced that Slammiversary marked IMPACT's highest-attended event in four years, and that IMPACT hopes to return to Windsor in the near future.

In footage from earlier today, Tom Hannifan interviews Jonathan Gresham, who says that he can no longer hold his title anymore after Slammiversary, and asks why the X Division is not governed by a set of rules. He says that he fought for this in Ring of Honor, then says the X Division has no rules. Gresham then says this environment may not be for him, then leaves.

Dirty Dango beats Santino Marella after a person in riot gear shows up and attacks Santino as he goes for the Cobra. After the match, the person in the riot gear is revealed to be John E. Bravo.

Backstage, "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans run into MK Ultra (Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly) as they look for Jai Vidal. Gisele tells them to get out of her way, and Masha tells her to make them. Jody then returns Jai Vidal and tells them this had better be the last time she carries him off. Jai Vidal is shaken as Gisele demands a wardrobe change.

Backstage, we hear from Eddie and Alisha Edwards. Alisha says Traci Brooks being the equalizer at Slammiversary was not going to happen and that Traci is not half the woman she is. Traci shows up with Frankie Kazarian, then both sides brawl and security has to rush in.

Subculture (Mark Andrews and "Flash" Morgan Webster) retain the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships against ABC ("Inevitable" Ace Austin and Chris Bey) after The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) show up. Wentz distracts the referee while Trey attacks Ace Austin from behind, and after a chain of pinfall reversals between Chris Bey and Mark Andrews, Andrews rolls Bey up to retain.

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander heads to the ring. Alexander proclaims that it is good to be back, and that there is nothing that could wipe the smile off of his face right now. Alexander says that he loves the fans and that he loves Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and admits it is a little bittersweet being here, because the last time he was in an IMPACT ring, it was in Windsor, and it was one of the toughest days of his career and his life as he relinquished the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship that he fought so hard to win and keep. He tells the fans not to worry, as he will earn some gold, and with that being said, he took a lot of pride in being IMPACT World Champion, as he got to realize his dream when IMPACT took a chance on him and gave him the opportunity he needed and got, and he made the most of that opportunity. Josh then says it was all taken away from him in an instant due to a freak accident and he had to relinquish his title, and he promised that he would come back better than ever. Josh states he believed that promise wholeheartedly, but afterwards, he doubted himself for the first time in a long time as to whether or not he would follow through on that promise. When Rebellion happened, he watched as a fan, and at the end of the night, he saw Steve Maclin holding up the IMPACT World Champonship and got all the fuel he needed, and the sling come off and he went to work to get better. Josh says he worked to rehab and work more than the day before, and now, he is standing on his own two feet "100% medically cleared for in-ring competition." He then announces he is not here just to compete, but to take back the IMPACT World Championship. Josh admits he wanted to say this to Steve Maclin's face, but then Alex Shelley shocked the world and cemented his name amongst the greats when he became IMPACT World Champion at Against All Odds, and he was not surprised, for he knew how good Alex Shelley was. Josh then asks "Is Alex Shelley good enough to beat Josh Alexander?" Alex Shelley shows up, and says that while Josh coming back in four months is impressive, he knew he would consider the World Championship his because he never lost it. He then says the World Championship is his now, as he challenged for it twice and beat Maclin's ass the second time after having lost to Alexander. Shelley then reiterates Josh's question from earlier and talks about how Josh was able to live a dream as world champion, then tells Josh that at some point, he has to wake up. As for a rematch, Shelley says they should have one. Lio Rush then shows up and reminds both Josh and Shelley that he beat Chris Sabin and won the X Division Championship like he said he would, then states that if he wants to be World Champion, then there is only one thing he has to do: exercise Option C. KUSHIDA then shows up with the X from the Ultimate X Match around his neck and raises the microphone up before telling KUSHIDA there will be no Option C until Lio Rush faces him. Bully Ray then shows up, and as everyone in the ring is focused on him, Shelley, KUSHIDA and Josh are attacked from behind by Moose and Brian Myers, and Bully Ray joins in. Moose, Bully and Myers then give Lio Rush the opportunity to blast Shelley with the X Division Championship, but he walks out, and the three of them lay out Alex Shelley to end the show. (When the segment airs on AXS TV, it airs with absolutely no sound, and the show goes off with no warning after Bully Ray's entrance. The segment is also muted on Fight Network as well. Meanwhile, the YouTube members-only premiere was unaffected. As a result, the segment is aired in full on YouTube soon after the show goes off the air, and IMPACT Wrestling apologizes to the fanbase for the technical issues.)

Final IMPACT - IMPACT Wrestling recap for June 15, 2023

Champagne Singh and Shera beat Laredo Kid and Jack Price. After the match, Heath hits Singh from behind with a Wake-Up Call and does the same to Shera.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) head to the ring to start tonight's show. Sabin talks about how he had a dream where the two of them ran against all odds and walked away with gold, but instead of tag team gold, it was singles gold when he became the first nine-time X Division Champion while Shelley became World Champion after more than twenty years. He then realized that it was not a dream, but instead a dream come true. Shelley then says "Yup." Shelley admits he ugly cried because for twenty years, he had a feeling of inadequacy and that he was not good enough, but after winning the World title, he was. He says that he made wrestling a better place and has had a Meidas Touch with some of the people he influenced. Shelley says he had to draw a line in the sand and say it was his turn, and now he has to prove it to himself. He says he is World Champion not just because of everyone has worked with, but because of the fans, and that this is a new era and champion in IMPACT. Suddenly, Nick Aldis shows up, then says he called his shot and did what he said he would do just like the Machine Guns did, and that he stayed away backstage because he did not want to ruin his moment. Aldis says that he is proud of Shelley and that he deserves this moment, and says this means a lot to him on a personal level because Shelley reached out his hand and pulled him up when he came to America. He then tells Shelley that he is not looking at the same man, as he kept climbing when he was pulled up, and now that they are equals, the fans will have a champion to be proud of at Slammiversary. Aldis then says he will do everything in his power to make sure it is him. Trey Miguel shows up and belches into the mic, saying he is gassed from all the smoke that everyone is blowing up themselves. After stomping his water bottle on the ramp and saying this is why janitors get paid, he takes offense to not being mentioned earlier. After Trey asks where his respect is, Sabin tells him to shut up after whining about not getting the respect he deserves and that he has to earn it, and that he would have earned it if he said everything to his face in the ring. Trey says "No," then Kenny King and Sheldon Jean show up. Kenny says the only person he hears speaking the truth is Trey and that they had to claw and inch their way to everything in IMPACT unlike Nick Aldis and the Machine Guns. He also calls it a disgrace that Aldis and the Machine Guns for trying to getting Trey into a 3-on-1 situation, then Sabin proposes a six-man tag match. As Kenny, Trey and Sheldon head to the ring, "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw, Jai Vidal and Savannah Evans show up. Gisele says that what Kenny said rings true and that the spotlight should be heard, but when Trinity showed up in IMPACT, they rolled out the red carpet for her just like with Aldis and the Machine Guns. She asks if any of them deserve what they have, and Shelley says "Yup," then Shelley says he and Sabin had to install the carpet before mentioning that Gisele's problem is with Trinity, not them. "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo shows up and announces that as of today, she has surpassed 500 days as champion in IMPACT, and if people are getting knocked out, she should be involved as she is Knockouts World Champion. Trinity says "Until Slammivesary," then Aldis says some things will change come that day before Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up. Marella makes tonight's main event will be the Machine Guns, Aldis, Trinity and Deonna vs. Trey, Kenny, Sheldon, Savannah and Gisele in a ten-person tag match.

We hear from Steve Maclin, who says that it took him two years to become IMPACT World Champion only to lose it in a match that should never have happened. He then yells that he should still be World Champion.

We hear from The Design (Deaner, Angels, Kon). Deaner says The Design did not come to fruition, then asks who the blame should be put on before blaming it on Angels for not getting the job done the way he wanted it done. Angels says he joined for change and did everything Deaner told him to do only to get bossed around and to get a baseball bat to the face. He then says it is Deaner's fault and tells Deaner to get out of his face, but Deaner reminds him who brought him to IMPACT. Kon yells at them to stop and tells them that this is what Sami Callihan wanted, and that is destruction from in the inside out. He then says they should make IMPACT their territory.

Rich Swann beats Moose with a roll-up.

Backstage, Heath says that since he came to IMPACT, his journey has been nothing but a rollercoaster ride, and that he loves rollercoaster rides with being out for almost a year, Rhyno being in Violent By Design (Eric Young, Deaner, Joe Doering) and later injured by Honor No More, and winning and losing the tag team titles before Rhyno got hurt again. He says he has had to think about what is best for him, then says it is time to show everyone who he is and give anyone sleeping on him a Wake-Up Call.

Backstage, Moose is met by Brian Myers, who mentions Moose's recent losses and says that this would not have happened if they were still partners. Moose says he is not in the mood for a lecture, but Myers says he has not been doing well, either. He then proposes they team up again.

Bully Ray shows up with a piece of paper in his hand. He says that he is a victim of Scott D'Amore, atrocious management, unnecessary violence at D'Amore's hands and the system that is IMPACT Wrestling, as he was on his way to becoming #1 contender to the World Championship when D'Amore cost him that victory. Bully states that he wanted to represent his fans as World Champion, but D'Amore took that away from him and everyone, and states that everyone agrees when he says that he is the victim. He then reveals that the piece of paper is a copy of a letter he has sent to Anthem seeking justice, as he has been made uncomfortable in the workplace. Bully states that he has not received an answer yet and that his mental health is declining. As Bully Ray demands answers, Scott D'Amore shows up. D'Amore says he has seen a lot of things, but he never thought that Bully Ray would be "a stooging, whining bitch." Bully tells D'Amore he will not be talked to like that, but D'Amore says that if Bully is going to be a jerk, someone will be a jerk right back. As D'Amore says that he is holding on to a human resources complaint, Bully states that D'Amore's actions have cost him physical and mental harm. D'Amore states that he has had to stand in front of the Anthem Board of Directions, and that the board has stated that his actions were "unbecoming a President." A surprised Bully demands that D'Amore state that he was right while D'Amore was wrong. D'Amore then states that afterwards, the Anthem board dictated that he should take a leave of absence as President. Bully then calls this music to his ears, as D'Amore bosses screwed D'Amore like D'Amore screwed him. After Bully Ray demands that D'Amore get out of his ring and not let the door hit him on the way out, D'Amore states that there is one thing he could not do if he were still President before attacking Bully. Steve Maclin shows up and attacks D'Amore, then Bully and D'Amore gang up on him.Bully Ray screams at D'Amore for putting his hands on him, then Bully and Maclin attack him with chairs. As Bully puts one chair to D'Amore's neck and Maclin is about to smack Bully's chair with his own, the arena goes dark. Lightning strikes, and when the lights are back on, PCO is in the ring. Steve and Maclin attack PCO with the chairs, but PCO does not go down and punches a chair into Bully's face before levelling Maclin. D'Amore drop kicks Bully in the head, then declares that before taking his leave of absence, he made his first match in a while and puts Bully and Maclin in a tag team match against PCO and himself.

Backstage, Steve Maclin brings his frustrations with his inability to take PCO down to Bully Ray and that even the two of them cannot take PCO down. Bully Ray tells Maclin to act like a Marine, as PCO is just a man. Suddenly, Frankie Kazarian says PCO is the man who took them both down and that they have screwed around and will find out. As Maclin yells at Kazarian, Eddie and Alisha Edwards shows up and tells Maclin he has bigger things to deal with than Kazarian. Bully tells Eddie, Kazarian and Alisha that they will find out. When Kazarian aks Eddie why he stepped in, Eddie states that the only one who can mess with "a Kowalski guy" is another "Kowalski guy," and makes peace with Kazarian, much to Alisha's amazement.

Final IMPACT - IMPACT Wrestling recap for June 1, 2023

John Skyler beats Tyler Tirva in the BTI match.

Bully Ray heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Bully claims to be the most hated man in IMPACT as well as the entire wrestling business today, and that for his entire career, he has been putting people through tables, and that nobody is better at doing that than him. He says he has put men, women, children, owners of wrestling companies and even the president of IMPACT through tables, and states that when he is pissed up, he will light the table on fire, and he did just that and burned D'Amore to a crisp. Bully Ray calls Under Siege the greatest night of his wrestling career, if not his life, as it brought him great pleasure in lighting Scott D'Amore on fire. He then says D'Amore will not be able to get rid of him now that "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and Tommy Dreamer are out of commission, and states that he will soon win #1 contendership for the IMPACT World Championship at Against All Odds and become a three-time IMPACT World Champion at Bound For Glory before Steve Maclin shows up. Maclin admits Under Siege was "one hell of a night" and that he enjoyed what he and Bully Ray did to Scott D'Amore, then says it only happened because he allowed it to. Bully Ray tells Maclin not to allow him to do anything, for he has been in the business for thirty years and that he does whatever he wants before suddenly admitting that Maclin is right because he is the world champion. Maclin also mentions Bully Ray acknowledging him as world champion and recognizing him as "the man around here," then entertains the idea of the two of them continuing creating havoc in IMPACT. He then says that if Bully Ray wins #1 contendership at Against All Odds and goes on to Bound For Glory, he will be happy to be his opponent. Suddenly, The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) show up. Alex Shelley reminds Bully and Maclin that he is the #1 contender for the IMPACT World Championship and that he is walking out as World Champion, then Bully Ray says he would normally bury Shelley, but he cannot, for he is one of the most honest people in the industry. He calls Alex Shelley an incredible professional wrestler and says he is not mentioned in the same breath as the best even though he should be, as both of their teams tore the house down in IMPACT. He says both of the Machine Guns are important, there was always something about Shelley. Chris Sabin reminds Bully Ray that he fed him those same lines ten years ago and that he ended up beating him for the IMPACT World Championship, then Bully Ray reminds him that he beat him for the championship a month later. Maclin interrupts the proceedings to remind Shelley that he does not overlook him and that Shelley is overlooking him, and asks Shelley what makes him think he can beat him after he put in the work and proving people wrong for two years to become champion. When Bully asks Shelley if he can beat Maclin, Shelley says "Yep." Maclin asks Shelley if "yep" is all he has, to which Shelley replies "Yep." Maclin tells Shelley dropped the ball against Josh Alexander, and asks what makes this time different. Shelley tells Maclin that he is no Josh Alexander, and that if Alexander never got injured, he would never have become World Champion. Bully Ray laughs, then Shelley reminds Bully that in their last match, he not only beat him, he made him tap out. Sabin says everything is set for Against All Odds, then asks about tonight, as they have unfinished business from Under Siege and they might as well have a tag team match tonight. Bully Ray agrees with this, but says they will not do it tonight. Suddenly, Subculture (Mark Andrews, "Flash" Morgan Webster, Dani Luna) shows up and gets into the ring, then Mark Andrews offers to throw their name into the hat for an open challenge, as them vs. the Machine Guns are a dream match, and if Bully and Maclin won't wrestle, they will. Shelley accepts the challenge, then tells Maclin he will prove why he will beat his ass.

Backstage, Jimmy Jacobs interviews Nick Aldis. Nick Aldis says that when he is dressed in a suit, he feels like a dangerous man, and he is even more dangerous when he has momentum. He praises Kenny King as a fine athlete who is credit to the sport and that this is not the last time they will meet. He then says that he has a new challenge in the 8-4-1 Match at Against All Odds, where he will go from having chemistry with three other men before facing all of them to become #1 contender for the World Championship. Aldis says that is is about adaptation, and guarantees that he will win the match, become #1 contender and win the World Championship.

Eddie Edwards beats Yuya Uemura. After the match, Eddie offers to shake Uemura's hand, but pulls his hand away. As Eddie leaves, he is met by Frankie Kazarian, who calls him out for refusing to give respect to Uemura, who took him to his limit. He says this is not how they were trained to conduct themselves, and as Eddie walks away, Kazarian punches him. Alisha Edwards gets on top of him, but Kazarian throws her down.

oVe (Sami Callihan and Jake Crist) beat Decay (Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus). After the match, The Design (Deaner, Angels, Kon) show up, and Kon choke slams both Crist and Callihan before Deaner hits Crist with the Antidote and tells Callihan that this is all his fault. All of a sudden, Rich Swann shows up with a chair. The Design then leave the ring.

Backstage, Rich Swann tells Sami Callihan and Jake Crist says that he will be busy at Against All Odds in the 8-4-1 Match and that they will need to find someone else to help them against The Design (Deaner, Angels, Kon). Swann leaves, then Callihan tells Crist that "the doctor will have to call the monster."

Trinity beats Savannah Evans with a top rope Sunset Flip into Starstruck. After the match, Trinity says she was waiting on the other side for whoever came out of Under Siege as Knockouts Champion, then says she is waiting. "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo then shows up. Deonna thanks Trinity for being patient and says she is the one Trinity has been waiting for, then says everyone wants something from one as champion and allows Trinity a question. Trinity proposes a Knockouts Championship match at Slammiversary. Deonna says "Let's dance." Suddenly, Jai Vidal, "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans get in the ring and attack Trinity and Deonna, who soon get laid out with a loaded purse by Gisele before Jordynne Grace runs out and makes the save. This does not last, as Jordynne is soon overpowered and Gisele hits Jordynne with the Denouement three times.

Jody Threat beats Dani Luna.

Backstage, Joe Hendry and Director of Authority Santino Marella talk about how surprised they are about Dirty Dango's behavior, then says he will get his revenge against Dango and that Santino should do the same. Suddenly, Kenny King and Sheldon Jean show up, and Kenny says Hendry should be worried about Sheldon Jean after Sheldon re-arranged his face. Santino makes a match between Hendry and Sheldon next week, then gives Hendry a match against Dango at Against All Odds.

We hear from Killer Kelly, who wants to face Masha Slamovich while wearing a dog collar with a chain around her neck. It is then announced that Kelly and Masha will face each other at Against All Odds in a Dog Collar Match.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) beat Subculture (Mark Andrews and "Flash" Morgan Webster).

Kenny King says that their history as part of Honor No More does not matter and that they realized that they are family when they re-united in the midst of Jay Briscoe's funeral, and that he is stepping up because PCO was never family. King says that at Sacrifice, he will put PCO out when the family comes together.

"The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo beats Savannah Evans with a cruficix bomb after "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw and Jai Vidal's interference attempt backfires. After the match, Savannah attacks Purrazzo and puts her in the full nelson before Vidal, Savannah and Gisele gang up on Purrazzo. Savannah then hits Purrazzo with the full nelson slam. Savannah then holds Purrazzo down so that Gisele can hit Purrazzo with the Denouement.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) vs. Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) from Sacrifice 2010.

Backstage, The Death Dollz (Rosemary, Taya Valkyrie, Jessicka) take offense to The Coven (Taylor Wilde and KiLynn King) taking the Knockouts Tag Team Championships. Jessicka says that they should be winning all the time with Rosemary's magic, and Taya warns Jessicka against approaching magic and promises they will get the titles back if they come up with a plan. Jessicka makes up her mind to go after The Coven herself, and Rosemary has to send Taya after Jessicka. Jessicka soon finds a casket, and when she opens it up, Taya shows up and closes the casket, telling her not to look at the white light. A hand then comes out of the casket and grabs Taya, then pulls her into the casket. The casket lid then shuts, and a distraught Jessicka calls for Rosemary. (This writes Taya Valkyrie out of Impact Wrestling for the second time, with Taya having recently signed to All Elite Wrestling.)

Bully Ray and Masha Slamovich beat Tommy Dreamer and Mickie James with a low blow and a piledriver from Bully Ray to Dreamer behind the referee's back after Dreamer and Mickie try to get a table into the ring. After the match, Masha gets Mickie in the ring as Bully sets up the table, then Bully Ray goes for a powerbomb on Mickie into the table before Jordynne Grace shows up and hits Bully Ray in the back with a Kendo stick. Jordynne, wanting to make sure Mickie is 100% for their match at Sacrifice, decides to fight Bully Ray, but she inadvertently hits Mickie James with a Spear instead of Bully.

Backstage, Rich Swann and Frankie Kazarian talk about Steve Maclin, and Swann thinks that Maclin is getting to him. Kazarian tells Swann to talk to "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and take care of their Steve Maclin problem before Sacrifice. After the commercial break, Rich Swann finds Steve Maclin going through Josh Alexander's belongings.

It is announced that a special live edition of Impact Wrestling will air next week from Los Angeles, California as a countdown for Multiverse United and will include some never-before-seen matches featuring Miyu Yamashita and Will Ospreay.

Before the next match, Joe Hendry announces that tonight is special as everyone will see the tag team of him and Dirty Dango, and that this is all the motivation to say two magic words. Dango yells "Suck it!", and Hendry thanks Dango for the enthusiasm before Dango says the real two words "We Believe!"

Moose and Brian Myers beat Joe Hendry and Dirty Dango.

Backstage, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander finds Rich Swann, who tells him that Steve Maclin has been in his belongings. Alexander heads to the ring to get things figured out.

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander heads to the ring. Alexander brings up Steve Maclin's history in Impact and admits that he has a ton of respect for Maclin as a wrestler and combat veteran, yet also admits that Maclin has lost him with the complaining and claiming that the deck has been stacked against him. He also says that he has lost respect for Maclin due to Maclin claiming he has ducked him, when Maclin has ducked him to take out everyone else, and states that as long as Maclin stays a challenger, he always has a hypothetical chance of becoming champion. Alexander then tells Maclin that their World title match will finally happen at Sacrifice and that they will see if Maclin has what it takes, and if Maclin loses, he will go back down to the bottom of the ladder. He then accuses Maclin of being afraid of being a soldier with no mission and "a forgotten son."Maclin shows up and says he has had opportunity to challenge Alexander for the title and has watched other people challenge Alexander when he could have. He admits that he is afraid to fail and go back to the bottom, and that he picked the right time so he could be prepared. He says he wants no room for error because he is obsessed with winning the Impact World Championship, then shows some footage of himself scouting Alexander from backstage. Maclin tells Alexander he may have built his legacy becoming Impact World Champion, but he is obsessed with winning the championship. Alexander states that while he has underestimated Maclin, this changes nothing, and he is still a fighting champion. Alexander then asks why they should wait until Rebellion when they could do this match right now, but Maclin says he is doing it his way, and if he is going to take the World title off of Alexander, he will do it in his hometown at Rebellion.
