Generation NXT - NXT recap for September 29, 2026

Zaria retains the NXT Women's North American Championship against Thea Hail.

Backstage, Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar are talking with The Wagner Brothers (El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galena) regarding the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic when Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) shows up. As Fraxiom look back on coming together as a team in a past tournament and look forward to the competition in the current one, The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake, Myka Lockwood) show up and look forward to facing The Wagner Brothers, if they can get that far.

Myles Borne heads to the ring. Borne says that he meant what he said to Tavion Heights, but he went back to being the man that he did not want to be. He says he wanted to just be himself, and that Tavion was never going to play him for a sucker, he was setting himself up for it. He says that in the moment, he thought he could have everything, but he lost both of his title, and he could only think of one man: "All Ego" Ethan Page, who kept telling him that he needed a killer instinct, and according to Borne, was right about the business. Borne says he was standing still and that he could continue to be "one half" or become the star he knew that he always was, which led to him attacking Tavion with the chair like he did to Ethan Page. He says that he became his true self, but in return, the fans just made him feel guilty. Borne says the fans only liked him because they felt sorry for him because he was deaf and because he was another way to fill "the fans' social justice warrior cup." Borne says that without him, Tavion would never have become a tag team champion, but without Tavion, he would still be North American Champion. He tells the fans not to feel sorry for him, as he feels sorry for the fans, as he is the deaf one and they all watch him. He says the fans acted shocked when he became champion, but his shoulders were meant to carry that burden. He then dares the fans to continue to make fun of him and tells them to turn closed captions on or else he can show him something they can understand. Borne says that he is done being the bigger person and that he does not need to listen to the fans, as it has only surrounded him with hypocrites. He then says he is done treating people the way he wants to be treated and that he will be "the successful version of Myles Borne," then tells the fans to go to Hell.

Backstage, Lizzy Rain meets with General Manager Robert Stone regarding opportunity. Chaz "Starboy" Hall and Mini Vikingo meet with Stone, who wishes them luck in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic as both men look forward to winning tonight.

Backstage, Emily Agard interviews Grayson Waller. Waller says that Mason Rook was the rightful #1 contender, but Mason does not have to quit tonight, because the doctors did it for him. He then says he sees a fire in the locker room, but nobody is hungry enough to take his title. He says that if anyone wants to be champion, then they should do something about, as the first person who gets in the ring with him will get "the Grayson Waller rub."

Chaz "Starboy" Hall and Mini Vikingo beat Birthright (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors) to advance in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. After the match, Birthright attack Mini Vikingo and Starboy, with Charlie Dempsey and Lexis King joining in, until Zilla Fatu runs in and cleans house against the whole of Birthright, with Stacks getting hit with the Triple Z. Zilla Fatu then tells Birthright that he is done with the numbers game and that he is taking them down one by one, then says he will answer Grayson Waller's open challenge for the NXT Championship and taking the title home.

On NXT Chronicle, we hear from Cruz Montana, who also plans to answer Grayson Waller's open challenge. He says that his fire has been burning forever, as he has been taught not to tolerate disrespect like that from Dion Lennox. He realizes that he is blessed that his daughter does not have to go through anything he had to go through, as he never really got to be a kid, as he had to help raise his siblings. Montana says his mother did what she had to do so that they could all survive, and he is proud of that woman, as she survived things that are unimaginable and she is now the greatest version of herself. He then mentions his late father, and tears up when he says that despite his father's flaws and shortcomings, his presence was the greatest gift his father gave him. Montana talks about how he got out of rehab and became his greatest version of himself, and says that if Dion Lennox wants to start something, he will finish it.

Backstage, Zaria runs into Izzi Dame before entering the rest of the locker room. Zaria then sees a lot of pink things, including a dress, at her locker, much to her chagrin.

Kelani Jordan heads to the ring. Kelani says that one of the things she loves about being NXT Women's Champion is that she is no longer an afterthought. She says that women can step up to take her title, but they will not, then wonders who she will be defending her title against next. She then says that she is just that good, as she has cleared just about every single challenger, then says that she will not just give anyone a title shot, as nobody has handed her anything. She says she is "the standout, not the handout." Kelani then states that when a true challenger steps up, she will defend her championship, and that regardless of who is up next now, the results will be the same, as nobody can do it like her. General Manager Robert Stone shows up and announces that there will be a 20-woman battle royal, with the winner facing Kelani for the NXT Women's Championship at Halloween Havoc. He also announces that Raw, SmackDown, AAA, Evolve and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling superstars will be in the battle royal. All of a sudden, Kelani is attacked from behind by Reina Vulcan, who declares for the battle royal.

Backstage, Naraku looks forward to answering Grayson Waller's open challenge. Saquon Shugars shows up and says the NXT Championship is his and that he is not waiting two weeks to face Tristan Angels. When General Manager Robert Stone mentions Naraku's upcoming match with Shiloh Hill, Saquon says that the only difference between Shiloh and the "evil" Naraku is that Shiloh has a brain, and when he feels that Shiloh will be Naraku, Naraku says "We'll see about that," laughing on his way out.

Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) beat DarkState (Cutler James and Osiris Griffin) to advance in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

This week on NXT Spotlight, Kendal Grey talks with the sports psychologist. Kendal Grey says that wrestling is her life and that she cannot focus on anything but wrestling outside of her career and is just focused on getting back in the ring. She says that "work harder" was always her answer to everything, and that she does not know how stop. She also does not know what to do when working harder is not enough.

Backstage, General Manager Robert Stone meets with Izzi Dame, who says that she made Zaria's locker more pink and wanted to show everyone the true NXT Women's North American Champion. She also finds out that she and Zaria are both in the 20-woman battle royal.

Grayson Waller heads to the ring. He says that the fans should be thanking him for showing up for work, unlike Mason Rook, then says that the locker room has their chance to show who is ready for him. He declares the first person in the ring the first person to get a shot. The men's locker room spills out, and more men backstage race to the ring. Numerous men and officials show up, and Zilla Fatu comes out ahead only to be joined by Cruz Montana. Montana and Zilla fight, and they soon get beat up. All of a sudden, EK Prosper shows up from behind, gets in the ring, and becomes Grayson Waller's opponent.

Grayson Waller retains the NXT Championship against EK Prosper.

Backstage, Zilla Fatu says that nobody wants to see him win and that Birthright is why he is not standing as NXT Champion. He then says he will "fuck Lexis King up."

Good Lucha Things - Lucha Libre AAA recap for July 11, 2026

Mini Vikingo beats Jack Cartwheel and Dragon Lee in a Triple Threat Match to become #1 contender for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship.

Backstage, General Manager Rey Mysterio meets with El Grande Americano. Rey admits that he does not know what El Grande Americano has planned, and warns him that Los Perros del Mal has contained some of the most dangerous badasses in lucha libre for many years. He says that El Grande Americano was attacked because he is the biggest dog in the yard and that they have already marked their territory, and that he cannot fight them alone. El Grande Americano agrees, and says that if he has been made a target, then he is not taking a step back. He also agrees that he cannot win this war alone. Suddenly, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up and blames what has happened on Rey before stating that Los Perros del Mal (Angel, Berto, Daga, Bronco Nima, Karmen Petrovic) is full of opportunists. Rey holds his tongue out of the fact that Dominik has decided to return to AAA, then leaves. Dominik says he stayed out of El Grande Americano's mask vs. mask match because he knew none of them would win and eventually face him in the biggest TripleMania match AAA has ever seen, and that the match will not happen if El Grande Americano is in a hospital bed thanks to Los Perros del Mal. Dominik says that if El Grande Americano is a target, then so is he, and if they come, they must have each other's backs. El Grande Americano says he will believe that when he sees it.

Backstage, Dorian Roldan, who is holding the AAA Latin American Championship, tells Omos that tonight is his night and that what happened to El Hijo del Vikingo last week is unfortunate. They suddenly run into Mini Vikingo, and Omos almost has to hold Mini Vikingo back.

Dorian Roldan and Omos head to the ring. Roldan announces that due to the negligence of General Manager Rey Mysterio, El Hijo del Vikingo has a knee injury, and despite an operation last week, he will be out for months. He says that El Hijo del Vikingo deserves respect, especially when he was sent to North America and got hurt because of Rey Mysterio, who Roldan states that he will sue personally for negligence. He says that if Rey does not take priority, then he will make an executive decision himself and name a new AAA Latin American Champion: Omos, who he gives the title to. Roldan says that if anyone has a problem with Omos as champion, then they can get in the ring, look Omos in the eyes and try to take the title away. Suddenly, Rey Mysterio shows up and heads to the ring. He wishes the best for El Hijo del Vikingo, especially after having so many knee injuries himself, and hopes that El Hijo del Vikingo gets better. Rey then says that Roldan does not have the right to name a new champion, then demands Omos one time only to relinquish the AAA Latin American Championship. Omos approaches Rey and dwarfs him in size as Rey demands that Omos do the right thing or get suspended from AAA indefinitely. Omos hands the title to Rey, but not without shoving him into the ring ropes. Rey declares the AAA Latin American Championship vacant, and that next week, he will announce how a new champion will be crowned. Rey then tells Dorian Roldan that if he wants to sue him, then he will see him in court.

We hear from Damian Priest, who tells General Manager Rey Mysterio that if he needs a new AAA Latin American Champion, then he need look no further, for he is here.

General Manager Rey Mysterio takes questions from the press. He announces that Verano de Escandalo will be a three-week televised event with a main event each week. He announces that at the event, Mini Vikingo will face Rey Fenix for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship, while Flammer will defend the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship in a Triple Threat Match against La Catalina and Lady Shani. He also mentions that La Hiedra has approached him about the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships and has been given one more opportunity in which she teams up with Laredo Kid against Joaquin Wilde and the returning Faby Apache, with the winners facing Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships at Verano de Escandalo. On the subject of El Hijo del Vikingo, Rey announces that Vikingo will be out of action for months, which happens in wrestling, and that this will open up some opportunities. He will have more details next week on what is planned, and says that he is truly excited for it. Rey says he personally owes Andrade Bazarte a phone call, and invites her to AAA next week, as they have a lot to talk about.

Money Machine (Colmillo de Plata and Garra de Oro) vs. Noisy Boy and Epydemius Jr. ends with both teams being attacked by Los Perros del Mal (Angel, Berto, Daga, Bronco Nima, Karmen Petrovic). Daga then calls out El Grande Americano so they can settle things, or else they will continue to attack Money Machine, who have had their clothes ripped apart by Los Perros del Mal. El Grande Americano shows up and brings Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano with him. This leads to a brawl, and Los Perros del Mal easily overpower the three of them. All of a sudden, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up with a metal folding chair and forces Los Perros del Mal to retreat. He says that he does not know why Los Perros del Mal is here, but they will not mess with his business, and challenges two members of Los Perros del Mal to a tag team match against himself and El Grande Americano.

Good Lucha Things - Lucha Libre AAA recap for June 20, 2026

Mini Vikingo and El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. beat El Ojo (El Hijo del Vikingo and Omos) after Mini Vikingo hits El Hijo del Vikingo with a springboard corkscrew crucifix driver. After the match, El Ojo attack Mini Vikingo, and when El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. tries to make the save, Omos throws him out of the ring and clobbers him. Omos grabs the ring steps to hit Wagner with them, but Galena shows up and attacks Omos. El Hijo del Vikingo goes for a plancha on Galena, and Galena catches and slams El Hijo del Vikingo only to be hit with the ring steps by Omos.

Backstage, we hear from "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, who says that things have been changing in AAA lately, yet the one thing that continues to stay the same is him holding the AAA Mega Championship. He says that one man is heading to the main event of TripleMania and only one man will be remembered forever as the King of the Luchadors.

Backstage, Psycho Clown says he will be putting Los Psycho Circus (Psycho Clown, Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Dave the Clown) back together.

Rey Fenix retains the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Laredo Kid and Lince Dorado in a Triple Threat Match.

AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio is interviewed backstage. He congratulates Rey Fenix for his victory tonight, then announces that AAA is negotiating with the General Managers of Raw, SmackDown and NXT for possible collaborations, including an NXT title defense in AAA where Lola Vice defends the NXT Women's Championship against La Hiedra on next week's main event. On the subject of bringing outside talent to AAA, Mysterio lets it slip that AAA is very close to bringing in a former WWE world champion who has never wrestled in AAA, and that this former chapion is very excited to do this, AAA has yet to seal the deal. Rey promises more information next week.

El Grande Americano II - now just El Grande Americano - heads to the ring. El Grande Americano talks about how he beat El Grande Americano I - now just Chad Gable - and demonstrated the force of AAA and lucha libre as well as the power and the pride of Mexican culture. He says that he did not do it alone, and that he had help from his friends and his people, such as comedian Ojitos de Huevos, who always believed in him with heart even though he had never seen him with his eyes. He also thanks Pimpinela Escarlata, who reminded him every day what lucha libre means: passion, heart and pride. El Grande Americano then thanks Andrea Bazarte, who never forgot to think about him when thinks got difficult and was always by his side. He says that he will always fight for her, because he loves her. He then thanks the fans and the people of Mexico for lifting him up when he was down and always being by his side, which he will never forget. El Grande Americano declares that his victory at Noche de Los Grandes is for all of them, then wonders what it is in store for him next. He says that he won Rey de Reyes and the mask of El Grande Americano I, and now, he wants the AAA Mega Championship, and with that, he wants "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. All of a sudden, Karmen Petrovic suddenly shows up on the stage and walks to the bottom of the ramp dressed in all black. Suddenly, four more people clad in black - Daga, Angel, Berto, and Bronco Nima - surround El Grande Americano, and Bronco Nima is the first to strike as Petrovic gets in the ring. All four men attack El Grande Americano, and despite his best efforts, El Grande Americano is outnumbered and outpowered. Everyone then takes their jackets off to reveal shirts with the words "Perros del Mal" printed on them, and Petrovic hits the last shot on El Grande Americano to end the show.

Noche de los Grandes, Week Two - Lucha Libre AAA recap for June 6, 2026

Lince Dorado beats Joaquin Wilde, Octagon Jr., Cruz del Toro and Mini Vikingo in a five-way match to become #1 contender for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship. (During the match, Octagon Jr. suffers a neck injury following a top rope DDT from Joaquin Wilde. The injury is edited off the broadcast.)

In backstage footage from last week, Ivar states that once again, The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) have gold. Erik says they are the new AAA World Tag Team Champions, and that they are ready for enemies. Ivar says that nobody is ready for war.

In backstage footage from last week, Dorian Roldan tells El Hijo del Vikingo that they are going to take everything again, and that while it took some time, the plan is working, and Vikingo is a champion again. El Hijo del Vikingo tells Roldan that he believed in him and in his family in El Ojo (Dorian Roldan, El Hijo del Vikingo, Omos). Roldan tells Omos that they are getting traction again, and Omos agrees.

We hear from AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio. Rey says that last week's mask vs. mask match was a great, history-making match, and now that there is one El Grande Americano that everyone can support, and that everyone is waiting what is in store for El Grande Americano II, who is now the only El Grande Americano. He also says that there will be a Latin and South American tour for all of September that AAA has not been to in so long, such as Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, Chile, and for the first time in fifteen years, Raw and SmackDown will be in Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. Rey states that he also knows that "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio is annoyed that he is the new General Manager of AAA, but in the end, their family problems do not have to be dealt with in the ring. He confirms that Dominik will be advertised for AAA's show in Merida, Mexico on June 20th, and with that, he wants to reiterate that for the first time ever in the history of AAA, TripleMania will be in Las Vegas, Nevada for the first night and in Mexico City for the second night, and that whoever is AAA Mega Champion will be defending the title on night two.

In backstage footage from last week, we hear from Los Americanos (El Grande Americano II, Rayo Americano, Bravo Americano). El Grande Americano II says that he did it, but it was only possible because of his friends and because of the support of Mexico and the fans. He thanks Mexico for everything and says that he loves the fans, and that is really grateful for everything.

Bayley, Lola Vice and La Catalina beat Las Toxicas (Flammer, La Hiedra, Maravilla) in a six-woman tag match.

Good Lucha Things - Lucha Libre AAA recap for May 2, 2026

Dorian Roldan speaks with Omos and El Hijo del Vikingo. He has just received a phone call, and tells Vikingo that Penta only cheat to beat him, and that Vikingo has a match with El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. for the AAA Latin American Championship on May 30th. Vikingo calls El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. "a nepo baby" and says that he loves his plan, and calls El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. and his family "trash." He says that El Ojo (Dorian Roldan, Vikingo, Omos) are family, and that Roldan will make a great General Manager while he makes a great champion. Vikingo then tells Roldan that twenty minutes is all it will take to become champion and wipe him out. When Vikingo leaves, El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. shows up and asks Roldan what he knows about family. He walks off as Roldan holds Omos back.

Mini Vikingo beats El Hijo del Vikingo. During the match, El Hijo del Vikingo removes a turnbuckle cover, and soon after Mini Vikingo sends Vikingo into the exposed turnbuckle, Vikingo launches Mini Vikingo into referee Felix Fernandez as he replaces the turnbuckle cover, knocking Fernandez out cold and out of the ring. Neither man can get a cover due to the referee being knocked out. Eventually, Vikingo grabs a chair, but he is stopped by El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., who takes the chair away from Vikingo and hits him with it before hitting him with a Wagner Driver into the chair. Mini Vikingo then goes up top and hits a Phoenix Splash from the top rope and gets the pin and the win. After the match, Omos runs down the ramp and attacks both Mini Vikingo and El Hijo del Dr. Wagner, Jr., and he throws Mini Vikingo into the ring post before beating up Wagner. All of a sudden, Galeno - El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr.'s brother - shows up with a chair and attacks Omos, and he and Wagner double-team Omos and clothesline him out of the ring.

Rey Fenix beats Laredo Kid after Laredo mocks Fenix with a "Cero Miedo" taunt at the top rope in reference to Fenix's brother Penta. After the match, Fenix offers to shake Laredo Kid's hand, but Laredo bumps into Fenix as he storms out of the ring.

We see a video package of the recent events involving Pagano and Los Psycho Circus (Psycho Clown, Panic Clown, Murder Clown, Dave the Clown), as well as the attacks on Panic Clown, Murder Clown and Dave the Clown.

Security is in the ring as Dorian Roldan and interviewer Andrea Bazante are in the ring for the contract signing between El Grande Americano I and El Grande Americano II in a mask vs. mask match. El Grande Americano II heads to the ring first, followed by El Grande Americano I. Dorian Roldan says that his family has always presented the best matches in the history of lucha libre, and mask vs. mask matches are the most sacred, with the loser having to unmask and reveal their identity to all of Mexico. As Roldan declares that it is time to sign the contract, El Grande Americano I produces a document from out of his suit jacket and hands it to Dorian Roldan. The document is from El Grande Americano I's attorney, which states that he will not face El Grande Americano II unless his demands are met. The document demands a no-contact clause, and if the clause is violated, the match is off and the attacker would be forced to unmask. El Grande Americano II signs the contract, and demands El Grande Americano I do the same. Roldan states that with El Grande Americano II's signature, El Grande Americano II has agreed to the no-contact clause. Roldan also announces that El Grande Americano I has demanded that presents Andrea Bazante must leave AAA for "being the aggressor" in the attack on Ojitos de Huevo three weeks ago. As this goes on, both El Grande Americanos argue with each other, and El Grande Americano I dares El Grande Americano II to hit him, and Bazante says that if this is required for El Grande Americano II to take El Grande Americano I's mask, then so be it. Bazante leaves the ring and is escorted to the back by security, and El Grande Americano II is fuming as El Grande Americano I signs the contract before throwing the pen in his face and rolling out of the ring. El Grande Americano II tells El Grande Americano I that he has no idea what he has done, then he is attacked from behind by The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed), who slam him through the table in the ring. Los Americanos (Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano) chase The Creed Brothers out of the ring, but the damage is already done.

Good Lucha Things - Lucha Libre AAA recap for January 31, 2026

El Ojo (Dorian Roldan and Omos) head to the ring. Roldan tells the fans that they do not understand that this is a new era in AAA, and that he comes from the best family of wrestling promoters. He says that over thirty years ago, his uncle created this company, and that he has taken AAA to where it is at now. Roldan says that it is thanks to him that AAA has some of the best wrestlers in the world for many years. He says that money can buy anything, and that he has the best wrestler right now, El Hijo del Vikingo. Vikingo shows up and heads to the ring, and says that whether anyone likes it or not, he is #1 contender for the AAA Mega Champion. He calls El Grande Americano a false idol and proclaims that he squashed him like a cockroach before asking the fans why they support "a false Mexican" and insulting their intelligence for doing it. Vikingo says he wanted to represent AAA, but the fans turned their backs on him, and in response, he will turn his back on all of them. He states that at Rey de Reyes, he thought he would see his people, but not anymore, and that he is going to win for himself. All of a sudden, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up on the TitanTron and congratulates El Hijo del Vikingo for his new family before admitting he has never seen so many cowards in one ring in his life. He then tells Vikingo that at Rey de Reyes, he will be in the main event in his hometown of Puebla thanks to him, and that the people in Puebla will butcher him when he is there. He says that it will be the last time Vikingo will be in the ring with him when he humiliates him and becomes the king of the luchadors.

We see the rules of the Rey de Reyes tournament.

TJ Perkins beats Chris Carter, Mini Vikingo and Elio LaFleur in a Fatal 4-Way to become #1 contender for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship after Perkins hits Carter with a Mamba Splash after pulling . After the match, El Ojo (Dorian Rolan, Omos, El Hijo del Vikingo) shows up, and TJ Perkins tosses Mini Vikingo into the ring where El Ojo is. Omos scoops Mini Vikingo up for a powerbomb, and El Hijo del Vikingo laughs before telling Mini Vikingo that nobody can help him now and that this will be the last time he will do his moves and use his name. Omos then powerbombs Mini Vikingo again.

We see a vignette for The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik), who will be coming to AAA in two weeks.

Lola Vice beats La Hiedra to become Mr. Iguana's tag team partner for the upcoming AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships match after La Hiedra is caught grabbing the trunks on a schoolkid pin. Mr. Iguana is the special guest referee for this match (and seems to count Lola Vice's pin faster than La Hiedra's tights-grabbing pinfall attempt just moments before). After the match, "All Ego" Ethan Page and Chelsea Green find that they have little time to prepare for a Mr. Iguana-Lola Vice combination and move to "Plan B."

We hear from Santos Escobar. He talks about his history with Rey Mysterio and addresses how he answered El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr.'s open challenge before stating that it is his destiny to beat him for the AAA Latin American Championship.

Laredo Kid retains the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Mini Vikingo and Octagon Jr. in a Triple Threat Match.

El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. retains the AAA Latin American Championship against Mecha Wolf. After the match, El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. calls out Santos Escobar, saying that if he wants his title, then he can come and get it.

Andrea Bazarte interviews Penta. Penta states that he is almost at 100% and that he can guarantee that The Lucha Brothers (Penta and Rey Fenix) will return to AAA. He hopes that it gives new fans a reason to stay. He admits that he never imagined being in WWE, but he is happy that he is getting better day by day and that 2026 will be his year. Penta then announces that it has been ten years since he won Rey de Reyes, and that Rey de Reyes is coming back. He announces that there will be four Fatal 4-Way qualifiers and that the winners of these qualifiers will square off in the finals in Puebla to name the new Rey de Reyes, who will not only raise the sacred sword, but earn a chance to compete for the AAA Mega Championship. He says he has seen all the talent that AAA and the world has to offer nad that this Rey de Reyes will be interesting. Jack Cartwheel, Aerostar, Apollo Crews and La Parka are named as the first four participants on the road to Rey de Reyes as Penta speaks highly of each one. Penta says that Puebla has a special place and that the fans welcome him every time he arrives, and that he will personally hand the sword to the new Rey de Reyes on March 14th.

Backstage, La Hiedra meets with Mr. Iguana regarding Chelsea Green and "All Ego" Ethan Page. Lola Vice suddenly shows up, and it becomes evident that La Hiedra and Lola Vice do not like each other and are both vying to become Mr. Iguana's tag team partner. After La Hiedra and Lola Vice leave, Pimpinella Escarlata shows up and hands Mr. Iguana a lime green-and-black referee shirt.

Psycho Clown and Pagano retain the AAA Tag Team Championships against Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento and Takuma), Nueva Generaction Dinamita (Sanson and Forastero), and The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley). During the match, it is revealed that Panic Clown has been attacked backstage, and when Pagano and Psycho Clown return backstage after the match, Panic Clown is in an ambulance en route to the hospital being administered oxygen.
