Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for September 13, 2018

Austin Aries, Moose and Killer Kross show up to start tonight's show. They sit on a set of gold couches with a gold table between them, and Aries talks about how Johnny Impact got taken out last week and how everyone who has stepped up to them has been put down. He says that nobody will be seeing Johnny for a good while, just like nobody will see Eddie Edwards for a while. Moose says he should go check on his wife and bring her some champagne, then Fallah Bahh and KM show up, much to the amazement of Moose, Kross and especially Aries. Aries invites them to enter the ring, and KM he and Fallah are here on the advice of "The Smoke Show" Scarlet Bordeaux to speak their minds and that Aries is a liar for claiming he is the greatest man that ever lived as well as an absolutely rotten human being and a horrendous world champion. He also calls Moose out for "stabbing Eddie Edwards in the back" and that he deserves to be called "Douche" much like the fans do. Moose and Kross get agitated, but Aries asks them to step back and gives them an apology, saying the last few weeks have been a little chaotic, and offers them a peace offering in the form of Fallah Bahh getting a shot at the Impact World Championship tonight. Aries asks Fallah to shake his hand if he agrees on it, and they shake hands. Aries teases hitting Fallah Bahh with a cheap shot, but instead tells Fallah Bahh he'll see him later tonight. When Bahh sits on the couch, Aries tells him not to sit on it for it expensive furniture.

The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix) beat The Cult of Lee (Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley). After the match, oVe (Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Sami Callihan) show up on the video screen, saying they are on TV so much because they sell tickets and that Bound For Glory will be no different as they are the best trio walking today. He challenges Pentagon Jr. Fenix and "The Machine" Brian Cage to a six-man tag team match, and says that "The Machine" Brian Cage made a mistake of sticking his nose in their business before asking how many more people have to do this before they finally learn not to do that.

Backstage, Fallah Bahh regrets challenging Austin Aries for the Impact Wrestling World Championship, and KM tells Fallah Bahh that he has to believe in himself and that he can do it before considering looking to advice from former world champions. KM suddenly has an idea of who to ask advice from.

Backstage, Fallah Bahh and KM find Eli Drake and look to him for advice. Eli Drake, focused on calling out dummies next week in Mexico, tells Bahh "I'd tell you to get a cup, but you'd better find yourself a bowl."

The GWN Flashback Moment of the week is The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross Von Erich) vs. The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) at Slammiversary XII.

Backstage, Alicia interviews Allie and Kiera Hogan. Allie admits she does not like Tessa Blanchard or the fact that she is telling everybody she has a hidden agenda involving the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Championship. Now that Tessa is the Knockouts Champion, Allie says she can have the championship, and that she made a promise that whatever happened to her, Madison Rayne and Rosemary would not happen to anyone else, and that promise extends to Tessa Blanchard. She says that while Su Yung is no longer champion, her reign of champion is far from over.

One Night Only: Night of the Dummies airs tomorrow on GWN and pay-periview!

Backstage, Alicia interviews Tessa Blanchard. Tessa says she heard what Allie said earlier, and that she did not need her help as she can see through her. She says that next week, Mexico and the whole world will soon see why she is undeniable.

Before the next match, Grado tries to speak to Katarina, and Joe Hendry tells Grado has taken Katarina leaving ham hard, then plays a custom-made music video where he makes it clear that he is not in love with her (and also makes a dig at her former WWE kayfabe brother Paul Burchill). After this, Alisha wins the match against a distracted Katarina with a schoolgirl pin before Grado makes fun of Katarina, which leads to an "Access denied!" chant from the crowd.

Backstage, Fallah Bahh comes back to KM with a cup and a bowl - literally - on the "advice" of Eli Drake. KM has to tell Fallah Bahh that Eli Drake was making fun of him and that he needs to take this seriously. All of a sudden, "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux shows up, saying she is proud of the both of them and wants to see gold around Fallah Bahh's waist. When she smacks Fallah Bahh in his belly, his hand grips around the cup so hard that breaks it, and KM has to push Fallah Bahh away from Bordeaux.

We see footage from earlier this week where Josh Mathews interviews Johnny Impact. Impact says that the longer he has spent in this business, the more frustrating injuries have become, and his neck and elbow are both damaged and that it will take a while to come back; however, he will be back for Bound For Glory. H eknows that his match with Austin Aries for the Impact Wrestling World Championship will be a 3-on-1 match, and says that Austin Aries surrounding himself with goons means that Aries is insecure about what it would be like if they were in the ring alone.

The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) beat The Fraternity (Trent Gibson and Channing Decker). After the match, The OG'z (King, Homicide, Hernandez) show up, and King tries to taunt LAX into breaking the ceasefire. He then says that he doesn't regret losing LAX as family; however, he regrets that Richie, the boy The OG'z ran over with their car, is still breathing. He dares Konnan to hit him and break the ceasefire, and Santana and Ortiz have to hold him back.

Alicia interviews Austin Aries, who says he could not feel any happier than he already is handing out gifts, and says Fallah Bahh has the biggest gift of all in a World title shot. He says that World title shot will end in defeat for Fallah Bahh, and says that Fallah Bahh will be gone just like Eddie Edwards and Johnny Impact and that there might not be a Bound For Glory main event - or a Bound For Glory - at all if he, Moose and Killer Kross take everybody out at the rate that they are doing it.

Backstage, KM tells Fallah Bahh that he and "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux believe in him, and asks Fallah if he believes in himself. Rich Swann shows up and tells Fallah Bahh that he has been where he is at right now, and tells Fallah Bahh that tonight is his night and that he will get the Impact World Championship. After Rich Swann leaves, he is confronted by "Reborn" Matt Sydal, who tells Rich Swann that he is foolish for thinking he can help Fallah Bahh when he cannot even help himself. He tells Swann that he is the man who can help him, and Swann responds by challenging him to a match next week in Mexico City, Mexico.

Next week: the next inductee into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame is revealed!

"The Machine" Brian Cage beats Kongo Kong. After the match, Cage says that if oVe (Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Sami Callihan) wants to challenge him and The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix), then he will be there at Bound For Glory to decimate all the members of oVe.

Backstage, Grado and Joe Hendry wish Fallah Bahh luck on his way to the ring along with the rest of the Impact Wrestling roster.

Austin Aries retains the Impact Wrestling World Championship against Fallah Bahh with the Last Chancery, then continues to attack Fallah Bahh after the match. KM tries to get Austin Aries off of Fallah Bahh, but he is soon attacked by Moose and Killer Kross, who smash a chair that they wrap around KM's neck into the ring post with another steel chair.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 5, 2018

Fenix beats Rich Swann. After the match, oVe (Dave and Jake Crist) rush into the ring and attack Fenix in an attemp to remove his mask and send a message to Pentagon Jr., but Pentagon Jr. shows up and clears oVe out of the ring. Afterwards, Pentagon Jr. kicks Fenix in the groin and hits him with the Fire Thunder Piledriver before revealing that it is really Callihan under the mask. oVe tries to unmask Fenix, and Rich Swann tries to stop them only to be laid out. As Callihan tries to rip Fenix's mask off, the real Pentagon Jr. - with his mask on - shows up and takes out oVe, forcing them to retreat.

Backstage, KM tells Fallah Bahh he screwed up and deserved the beating he got from Scott Steiner, but he is still dedicated to their team and he will prove it tonight.

Madison Rayne says she has faced nearly every Knockout to ever set foot in the Impact Zone, but she knows little about Su Yung. If she plans to step into darkness with Su Yung and her undead bridesmaids, there is nobody else she would rather have in her corner than Allie, who has walked through that darkness and came out through the other side. Allie says Rosemary told her not to let the darkness consume her, and she did. She danced with the devil and paid for it, but she does not regret it and she has learned that you need both light and darkness, good and evil. She tells Su Yung that instead of killing her, she brought another side of her to life.

Killer Kross beats Fallah Bahh with a rear chinlock in his Impact Wrestling debut, then continues to beat on Fallah Bahh. KM tries to fight Kross, but he also gets choked out. "The Canadian Destoyer" Petey Williams shows up and grabs a steel chair, but the strike to the back has absolutely no effect. Petey manages to get away with a chance shot to Kross' face.

Jimmy Jacobs says people around here think he is a bad guy, but he is a good because he tells the truth and has told everyone that Kongo Kong is the monster after he has taken out Abyss and Johnny Mundo, and says the real bad guy is "the Machine" Brian Cage. He says Cage perpetuates the lie that he is "the machine," as he showed a range of emotions after he lost to "Reborn" Matt Sydal and felt pain at the hands of Kongo Kong. He says that Cage is a man, and says Cage will be victimized and brutalized tonight.

This week's classic Slammiversary moment is Sting vs. Rob Van Dam for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Slammiversary VIII.

Backstage, Gama Singh tells The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raji and Gursinder Singh) that is not easy to win the world, and that with his guidance, he will take them to the guidance. He then tells them that they must be obedient and must pay attention if they are to run Impact Wrestling, win the tag team titles and bring pride to the people of India by any means necessary.

A new Knockout is coming soon to Impact Wrestling!

Allie and Madison Rayne beat Su Yung and The Undead Maid of Honor. During the match, the undead bridesmaids try to get involved, and when Su Yung goes for the Panic Switch, Rayne's legs inadvertently hit the referee. Rayne hits Cross Rayne, then Tessa Blanchard shows up as the ref is still blinded to attack Rayne from behind. Allie gets in the ring and takes care of Tessa Blanchard, and Rayne hits The Undead Maid of Honor with Cross Rayne to win.

At the Latin-American Xchange clubhouse, Santana, Ortiz and King are playing dominoes. Santana asks King to go easy on Konnan, as they got him and Ortiz off the street. King says he should heave beaten Konnan like he didn't even know him for how Konnan repaid him. King also says that his loyalty got him nowhere, and dares Konnan to produce proof that he took him out. He says that there are snakes everywhere and to keep your grass cut, and while he never intended to take Konnan's spot, sometimes these things happen. He says that if Konnan has proof, he wants to see it.

We see Gama Singh disciplining The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju and Garsinder Singh).

We hear from oVe (Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Sami Callihan). Callihan is wearing Pentagon Jr.'s mask, but not for long, and says it smells like "so much bullshit" as he takes it off. He tells Pentagon Jr. that he could have stayed out of their business until Slammiversary, but he had to go out and save Fenix and Rich Swann, ruining everything. Next week, there will be a six-man tag match, and they will be lucky if they do not take Pentagon Jr. and Fenix's masks as well as Rich Swann's entire face. He then says he will take everything from Pentagon Jr. at Slammiversary.

We see a video package of Austin Aries' journey to Slammiversary XVI.

At the Latin-American Xchange clubhouse, Konnan is on the phone with somebody, saying he will expose King for the fraud that he is. When that happens, the war games will begin.

We hear from Tommy Dreamer, who says he has tried so hard and has not yet succeeded at a lot of things. He has learned from those failures, as he had guys like Terry Funk, Mick Foley and Paul Heyman. He says Eddie Edwards has it all and is throwing his career way on an obsession over Sami Callihan. He doesn't wanted to come home to a busted-up face, and he has never turned his back on or betrayed anybody. He also says he carries a lot of baggage, but he just wants to give everything for the business and help others get to the next level because there were men and women who opened the doors for him. He tells Eddie to get a grip on reality, and that if Eddie has an obsession with Callihan, then he has an obsession with Eddie, because nobody busts his forehead open on his own show.

Eddie Edwards vs. Tommy Dreamer in a House of Hardcore Rules Match is now official for Slammiversary XVI.

Next week: DeAngelo Williams will have an update on Moose!

Katarina beats Rebel.

Backstage, Grado congratulates Katarina on her victory tonight, and Katarina surprises Grado with Joe Hendry, who announces that he is now in Impact Wrestling.

"The Machine" Brian Cage beats Kongo Kong.

Konnan shows up and calls King out so they can clear the air. King shows up with Santana and Ortiz, and Konnan says he is not so mad about King putting a hit on him, and that what really pisses him off is that this all happened after everything he did for him. King asks Konnan where his proof is. Konnan says that the phone calls to him from the hospital never happened, and after calling King "a walking, talking glory hole," he says that the more things change, the more things stay the same, and King was a "punk-ass bitch" then and a punk-ass bitch now. King then admits that he put the hit on Konnan, much to the surprise of Santana and Ortiz, because Konnan is the past and he is the future. He tells Konnan that he does not need his help anymore, and that he should walk out in the sunset before he gets put out of his misery out back like Ol' Yeller. King says he did what he had to do for the group, and thanks to him, the tag titles came back and the money came up. He tells Santana and Ortiz that Konnan is the past and that he is the future, but Santana and Ortiz flip him off. Konnan tells King that he didn't get the job done, but King asks "Did I...or didn't I?" All of a sudden, Homicide and Hernandez - two of the original members of LAX - attack Santana and Ortiz from behind while King chokes Konnan out with the Puerto Rican flag. Members of security try to get involved, but Hernandez lays them out. The Mexican and Puerto Rican flags as well as an LAX shirt are all draped on top of Konnan, Santana and Ortiz, and King tells them that when you come at the King, you'd best not miss. He then proclaims that he, Hernandez and Homicide are LAX.

She is then confronted by Tessa Blanchard, who tells her to stay at home before telling her that they should meet face-to-face next time they are both in the ring.

Suddenly, Scott Steiner and Eli Drake, and Steiner says Z&E only won because they "slipped on a banana peel" and that they could not beat him and Eli Drake ten times out of ten. Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for March 22, 2018

The four briefcase holders from last week's Feast Or Fired Match - Moose, Petey Williams, Ethan Carter III and Eli Drake - are seen backstage and outside of the arena at the start of the show.

Alberto El Patron shows up to start tonight's show, and says he is ready to get down to business and ready to fight. He says that he finally has a real champion in Austin Aries, and it does not get any better than them squaring off for the first time in history at Redemption. He then says that he, not Austin Aries, is the greatest man that ever lived, but he already knew that. Alberto is about to leave with Austin Aries shows up. He says that even though he and Alberto come from two different worlds, they are a lot alike: they punch anyone in the face who disrespects them, they love professional wrestling, and they have competed for championship at the highest level. However, Austin Aries calls himself not only the greatest man that ever lived, but also the truth, as there is nobody more real than him in an industry full of fake people. He says that he calls it like it is, and says that when he looks in someone's eyes, he knows what kind of person the person he is looking at is, and says that Alberto is "full of B.S." He then says he hates laying games, as games are for boys, and prefers to handle this like men, and if Alberto wants a shot at him for the Impact Wrestling World Championship at Redemption, he's got it. He then asks that the B.S. be put aside. Alberto says it will happen soon, then asks Aries to meet him face-to-face as he has something to say to him: Aries has something to prove, but he is not the true champion until he beats him. Alberto also says he wants his redemption, and he wants the whole world to see it. He then says he will die for the fans, he wants the world to see it, and he wants Aries at Redemption. Alberto tells him to enjoy the Impact World Championship while he can, because the title belongs to him. Alberto then asks the production crew backstage to play Aries' music, then heads to the back. Aries stops Alberto for a second, and tells him that he appreciates his appreciation and for acknowledging that he is Impact World Champion, but he asks that Alberto's music play. He says that from here on out, he will be "The Canadian Destroyer."

"Reborn" Matt Sydal retains the Impact Wrestling X Division Championship against Rohit Raju.

Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Moose backstage. Moose says he is feeling great, and that this year will be his year. Petey Williams' briefcase (numbered #2) is a shot at the Impact Wrestling X Division Championship. Ethan Carter III and Moose open their briefcases (#3 and #4, respectively). Moose says "Let's do it," while EC3 says "See you never, Moose!" Moose gets a shot at the Impact Wrestling World Championship, while Ethan Carter III gets the pink slip and is unceremoniously - or ceremoniously, depending on how you look at it - fired. (In reality, Ethan Carter III is leaving Impact Wrestling to head to NXT, having recently signed with WWE.) Ethan Carter III tries to get out of being fired, saying the title belongs to Taiji Ishimori and that he would not pick #3. He then says there is not a man, woman, child or god alive who will not make him open the briefcase. Jeremy Borash opens the briefcase, and Ethan Carter III is fired from Impact Wrestling. EC3 thinks this is a joke, but Borash tells him it is not a joke. Ethan Carter III says this is not how it ends for him, as he is the face of the company and the man who has held the company on his shoulder for the last four years. He says that he is a Carter, and that the company still needs him. After screaming that he is Dixie Carter's nephew, he finally accepts his fate, and says that things like this can light a spark that can carry one to absolute greatness. As the crowd chants "Thank you, Ethan," he quotes the end of The Great Gatsby: "So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past." EC3 then heads towards the back, then attacks Borash with the briefcase. All of a sudden, "The Machine" Brian Cage shows up, and after one punch from EC3, Brian Cage plows EC3 head-first into the mat to end the show.
