Final Impact - GFW Impact Wrestling recap for September 21, 2017

In Memoriam, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, 1944 - 2017.

Johnny Impact is seen looking for Eli Drake backstage before he heads into the Impact Zone. Johnny calls out Eli, wanting his title shot right here, right now, (even though Eli Drake is in Mexico) and says he will not leave until Eli Drake shows up. KM shows up instead, dragging a referee to the ring. He tells Johnny has a better idea: wishing in one hand and crapping in the other to see what happens first. He tells Johnny that Eli Drake is still in Mexico, but Johnny says he has seen his car in the parking lot, and accuses Eli Drake of being scared of him and pissing his pants instead of getting in the ring. KM says the fans suck, and the fans tell him he sucks right back. KM asks if Johnny is calling him a liar, and Johnny says yes and that a kid in the front row is also calling him "a doucherocket." KM tells Johnny to put his #1 contendership for the GFW Global Championship on the line. Johnny asks the fans if they want to see it. When the fans say they want it, Johnny starts the match with a superkick.

Johnny Impact beats KM to stay #1 contender for the GFW Global Championship.

Pagano is seen backstage telling someone "you know what to do" before meeting up with El Hijo del Fantasma.

Taya Valkyrie quickly beats Ava Storie. After the match, Taya says lucha royalty has arrived. She introduces herself, and says she is here for one reason: to become Knockouts Champion. She gives Karen Jarrett a little advice: don't waste her time. Suddenly, Rosemary shows up. She says the hive finds it funny that Taya deserves a title shot before she does. She says if anybody deserves a title shot, "it's us." Taya shoves her, and Rosemary shoves right back before the takedown. Sienna runs in and throws Taya off Rosemary before throwing some right of her own. She and Taya then fight over Rosemary, until Rosemary shoves Sienna into Taya only for the numbers game to catch up. Suddenly, Allie runs in and evens the odds. Taryn Terrell then gets in the ring and jumps Allie, and Allie and Rosemary are on the losing end. Gail Kim runs in and takes out Tara, Taryn and Sienna. Allie tosses Taryn out, and Rosemary is saved.

Meanwhile, in Mexico, oVe (Jake and Dave Crist) finds out where The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Homicide, Santana, Ortiz, Diamante) hangs out, and go in. They pass by Homicide, who lets Konnan know they're coming in.

oVe (Jake and Dave Crist) enter the strip club and wait for The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Homicide, Santana, Ortiz, Diamante), who show up. Both sides agree to have a match for the GFW Tag Team Championships next week at Victory Road.

We see Episode 2 of "Global Forged."

Allie says nobody messes with her friends. Gail Kim says they could have put Sienna, Taya Valkyrie and Taryn Terrell on stretchers. Rosemary says they can, and that they will have so many toys to play with next week.

We see Petey Williams talk about last week's X Division Championship match, the X Division, and his desire to win the title again.

Bound For Glory is live, Sunday, November 5th on pay-per-view!

We see Grado's first gig on the job as a client of Park, Park and Park's sports entertainment division.

El Hijo del Fantasma and Pagano beat Ethan Carter III and Eddie Edwards after Eddie is powerbombed by AAA wrestler Texano Jr. After the match, El Hijo del Fantasma, Pagano and Texano Jr. take the boots - and the bullrope - to EC3 and Eddie until "The Cowboy" James Storm shows up and fends all three men off. Storm then stares down EC3.

Johnny Impact looks for Eli Drake. He learns that Eli is in Mexico and that El Hijo del Fantasma can speak English. Texano Jr. confronts Johnny Mundo, and says he does not like him at all. Johnny then says Eli is not here, but Texano Jr. is, and puts his #1 contendership for the GFW Global Championship on the line again tonight, this time against Texano Jr. Texano Jr. accepts the challenge.

Kongo Kong beats Mahabali Shera.

We see footage of Eli Drake in Mexico, saying Johnny Impact "ran away from home" when he came to AAA and that he will show the people of Mexico what a true champion looks like.

We hear from Moose, who says he never needed someone in his corner like Lashley has, and that he does not know what America's Top Team is doing, but says that they had better not get in his way. He calls Lashley a coward, and he hopes to drag him into the ring so he can finish what they started.

Johnny Impact beats Texano to retain his #1 contendership for the GFW Global Championship.

Laurel Van Ness - with lipstick smeared all over her mouth - is seen in the stands, looking for a husband.

Sienna, Taryn Terrell and Tara Valkyrie meet with Karen Jarrett, wanting a match against Gail Kim, Allie and Rosemary. She finds it ironic that they are asking her for something and says that she would love to see them get their asses kicked. She gives them their match for next week, then tells them to get out.

Eli Drake retains the GFW Global Championship against Mascara de Bronce in Mexico.

The card for next week's Victory Road is run down.

Here's this week's edition of After Impact!
