Generation NXT - NXT recap for September 6, 2017

Zelina Vega reveals that Andrade "Cien" Almas brought her to America seven years ago to help him with his career, and guests on commentary for the next match.

Andrade "Cien" Almas beats Cezar Bononi with the Hangman's DDT after Zelina Vega - still on commentary - commands Almas to finish Bononi off.

General Manager William Regal makes it clear Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole that all their fighting will only be done in the ring, and not in the car park, outside of the arena or at the Performance Center.

Christy St. Cloud is outside of Asuka's locker room when Velveteen Dream shows up. He says he would only speak when the ambiance was right...and it wasn't. But he has seen a man who needs The Experience, and he will speak soon...very soon.

Lars Sullivan destroys all three of his opponents in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match. Suddenly, No Way Jose shows up and confronts Sullivan for attacking him from behind on NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn weekend. He knows Lars is tough, but wants to see how tough he is when his back is not turned and he is staring at him face-to-face. Jose gets the first shot, but Lars gets the upper hand very quickly and lays him out.

We see footage from earlier this week where Johnny Gargano is talking about his loss at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. Gargano says he lost focus, and that is all on him and he will never let that happen again. Suddenly, Johnny Gargano and Riddick Moss show up and tell him to find another tag team partner. Gargano challenges the two of them to face him in a one-on-one match next week.

We see a video package for Sonya Deville, who says she was born to do this. She has a match coming up next.

We see a video message from SAnitY (Eric Young, Nikki Cross, Alexander Wolfe, Killian Dain). Eric Young wanted to welcome Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole to NXT. They realized they danced differently, and says their attack on them at TakeOver will prove to be a mistake. SAnitY does not care anything at all about the three of them, as all they care about is chaos.

Sonya Deville beats Zeda by submission.

In footage from earlier today, General Manager William Regal talks with Ruby Riot, who wants a 2-on-1 match with Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. Regal says he cannot do that and makes it a tag team match. He tells her to find a tag team partner and she will have a match.

Kassius Ohno beats Hideo Itami in a no-disqualification match.

Next week: Wolfgang vs Pete Dunne for the WWE United Kingdom Championship!

General Manager William Regal introduces Asuka, who heads to the ring. Asuka says she has been in NXT for almost two years. The crowd chants "Thank you, Asuka." Asuka says she has fought many great Superstars, and says she loves NXT, and that she has grown so much here. She is thankful for NXT. Regal tells her that she has defended the NXT Women's Championship with honor, and has done everything it took to retain it. He then calls her one of the greatest Women's Champions in NXT history. He states that the NXT Universe has noticed...and others have noticed as well. Regal then announces that negotiations have started with Raw and SmackDown Live, and that Asuka will step down as Women's Champion. Regal says this is a great opportunity for the rest of the world to know that no one is ready for Asuka. The crowd chants "Thank you, Asuka" again. The NXT Women's Division claps for Asuka on from the top of the ramp, with the rest of the locker room joining them as well. Asuka tells the crowd that both she and they are NXT, and wherever she goes, NXT comes with her. As Asuka's entrance theme plays, Ember Moon is the last to show up. She walks into the ring and offers to shake her hand. She pulls it back, then they both hug. All of a sudden, Triple H shows up. She hands her some flowers and hugs her. Flowers are exchanged for the NXT Women's Championship. Triple H then asks for one more round of applause for the undefeated, 523-day reigning NXT Women's Champion, "The Empress of Tomorrow," Asuka.
