John Cena and Nikki Bella have a dinner date. Nikki says that she and John are doing very well in their relationship, and that she is doing very well with her career comeback. Nikki asks John Cena if they can spend their off days in Phoenix, Arizona, due to the Birdiebee brand being based there and due to Brie's pregnancy. Nikki says to the camera that she does not owe it to Brie, but she does want to be there. Nikki also mentions that her family is there, too. Cena says that this is a good idea.
Brie does a pregnancy mold in order to remember her pregnancy. Lauren almost has a wardrobe malfunction. As Brie, Nikki, Lauren and Kathy all wonder how Bryan will react and also jokingly recommend Nikki do one for John Cena, Bryan walks in wearing a mullet wig. Brie immediately wonders who looks more ridiculous between herself and Bryan. Brie proposes doing a maternity shoot, but Bryan only wants to do it she does not show it to the rest of the world, as Brie has an extensive social media following. While he is okay with Brie freely sharing a lot of herself, he feels that sometimes it feels like they live for the public more than for themselves.
Brie, Johnny and Kathy head backstage to SmackDown Live. This is Brie's first time backstage at a show since she retired at WrestleMania 32. J.J. also shows up backstage as Brie re-connects with some of the Superstars.
John Cena and Nikki check out a villa in Phoenix, Arizona not far from where Brie and Bryan live. J.J. comes for a visit, and as the three of them check it out, John Cena does not seem like himself to Nikki.
Brie talks with Lauren about Brie's maternity shoot. Lauren, being a fashion blogger, loves sharing her life and has collaborated with a lot of people, and mentions that at the time, and with collaborations, you have to put it on the Internet. She says that J.J. did not really realize that at the time and was not okay with her showing side boob on the Internet. J.J. mentions that the problem was that she put it on the Internet when she said that it was going to be just for them. It becomes apparent that J.J. was not really on board with their maternity shoot, and the similarities between Lauren and Brie's maternity shoots - as far as the problems that the men in their lives have with them go - become obvious.
John Cena works out at the gym with Rob. Cena mentions his and Nikki's move to Phoenix, Arizona and Nikki wanting Cena to come to Phoenix with her. He admits that Cena has gotten Nikki overexcited about it, and admits it would be tough to split between his home and Phoenix.
Brie, Nikki and Kathy head to the maternity shoot, and has invited Bryan to the shoot to make him more of a part of it. Brie talks to Kathy and Nikki about J.J. and Lauren's argument about their maternity shoot. Bryan shows up for a few photos. He is not a big fan of social media, due to the amount of private moments made public. He admits that he does not understand the fascination of being behind the camera for a maternity shoot. Nikki explains that a woman's body changes so much and that it is nice to have the memories, but in a way, a woman does feel beautiful.
J.J. and Nikki eat at a restaurant. J.J. mentions a secret that he wants Nikki to keep between them: he and Lauren are on the rocks for a while, and that he is moving out for a little while. Nikki is shocked. J.J. says he wants to live with Nikki during that time, and explains that he still loves and is still in love with Lauren.
Brie shows Bryan some of the maternity pictures. Brie tells Bryan that she is not posting the pictures on Instagram, since she understands why he would want to keep them private, but Bryan compromises and gives Brie his blessing to post them on Instagram if she wants to. Despite hating taking the pictures, he admits they are incredible and that Brie looks beautiful pregnant. He says Brie is a free woman, and if she wants to post them, she can do what she wants. He has come to accept that.
John Cena is playing piano, and Nikki brings some wine. John Cena admits he may have accidentally led Nikki on when it came to being there for Nikki's pregnancy. He says he needs time to do what he needs to do and is working six jobs at once. Nikki understands, but does not know how Brie will react.
Nikki and John Cena head out for a cup of coffee. Nikki has not told the family that he will not be in Phoenix yet. They come up with a name that J.J. and Vivian's baby can call John "zhu zhu" (Chinese for Uncle), and John admits he is adverse to holding babies as he is afraid he is going to break them.
Brie heads to the airport and meets Kathy, Lauren and Johnny. J.J. makes it later, and admits that being at the airport is kinda awkward, especially since he is just ticked off in general. Lauren says that she has kept the situation between herself and J.J. between the two of them.
John Cena and Nikki are at the beach house in San Diego, California. There is a live event in San Diego, and the whole family will be there for it. As she and John prepare the snacks, J.J., Lauren, Kathy, Johnny and J.J. and Lauren's baby Vivian show up. John's awkwardness with babies is made obvious to the rest of the family.
J.J. thanks Lauren for coming with the family to San Diego, California this weekend, as he feels it is important for Vivian to meet the rest of the family.
John Cena and Nikki's family have a night out. John admits that he will not be coming to Phoenix. Brie is unhappy, since that means Nikki probably won't be there. Brie and Nikki have a moment alone nearby and Brie feels like Cena never makes family a priority. It quickly turns into another argument between Brie and Nikki over the "zhu zhu" nickname as well as Nikki viewing herself as being somewhat like Cena's wife even though they are not married. After the conversation, Brie calls Nikki out, saying he is not yet an uncle to her baby and "he has to prove himself to the family." Cena quickly responds by asking why Daniel Bryan isn't here, and lays out exactly what he is doing that is keeping him from Phoenix: three movies, voice-overs for a television show, hosting the Kid's Choice awards, doing an event for Nintendo, and speaking at an insurance event the Million Dollar Round Table along with a full WWE schedule. He has three full days off between now and WrestleMania. Brie says she gets it, but she does not have to be happy about it.
Brie admits that she had every right to be upset with John Cena, but she is sorry that she exaggerated how upset she was with him. She is also touched that Nikki is doing what she can to make it to Phoenix.
Brie and Nikki plan for Brie's baby shower, complete with a baby food taste test and a "pin the sperm on the egg" game.
Brie and Nikki have a night out with the family. John Cena and Bryan are also there. Nicole mentions that if John Cena has twelve hours free, he will fly out to Phoenix and spend some time there. Nikki gets wine shamed. Cena asks everyone what they look forward to as parents. Nikki is excited to experience the love for their child, as does Bryan. Cena asks everyone what they fear as a parent. J.J. fears that he will not be a good parent, but says Lauren has been an amazing daughter to their daughter Vivian. J.J. says he and Lauren love each other, but admits they need a breather in order to figure things out. Brie admits she was upset about Cena not heading to Phoenix, but it took going back home to understand, and cannot wait for her daughter to call John Cena "zhu zhu."
