205:Alive - 205 Live recap for September 5, 2017

Nigel McGuinness replaces Corey Graves on commentary on 205 Live.

Rich Swann gets a rather interesting seat on top of the commentary table - and brings popcorn - for the next match.

TJP beats Ariya Daivari. After the match, Rich Swann gets in the ring and tells TJP that he hopes TJP is ready for their match next week.

Drew Gulak is seen passing out pamphlets for his campaign for a better 205 Live backstage.

Rich Swann vs. TJP is official for next week.

Before the next match, Gulak talks about his campaign for a better 205 Live. He says he should have gotten a slot in the Fatal 5-Way match, and states he is not in the title picture because people fear what they do not understand. He has a PowerPoint presentation, which he shows on the TitanTron. His proposals including no jumping off the top or middle rope. Akira Tozawa gets in the way of his other proposals.

Akira Tozawa beats Drew Gulak.

Enzo Amore says it doesn't take a rocket scientist that he is 3-0, and says 205 Live is full of gifted athletes. Enzo knows his offense is ground-based, but he's here. He knows it is a hard road, but he wants the Cruiserweight title. Suddenly, Neville shows up. He says Enzo is as ridiculous as he looks, and says 205 Live is for serious athletes only. He tells Enzo he has no business entertaining the idea of being in the same ring as him. Enzo says this isn't Game of Thrones and that he is not playing his games, and that the Cruiserweight title will soon be his.

Enzo Amore beats "The Premiere Athlete" Tony Nese, Gran Metalik, The Brian Kendrick and Cedric Alexander after grabbing Alexander's tights on the schoolboy pin to face Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at No Mercy.
