Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 7, 2018

Z&E (DJ Z and Andrew Everett) retain the Impact World Tag Team Championships against Drago and Aerostar.

We see a video package chronicling the events between Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan that have led up to their unsanctioned fight in the woods tonight.

Backstage, Sonjay Dutt and "The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams come to blows over the mystery backstage attacker.

We see a video package chronicling last week's Last Rites Match between Su Yung and Allie for the Impact Knockouts Championship.

The GWN Flashback Moment of the Week is a match between Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam.

At the Latin-American Xchange clubhouse, Santana and Ortiz are playing dominoes when Diamante suddenly returns. Diamante finds it suspicious that King is taking care of LAX after Konnan is taken down. King then gets Santana and Ortiz fired up for their match, and after Santana and Ortiz leave, King and an untrusting Diamante bump fists.

The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) beat The Cult of Lee (Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley).

It is time for Fact of Life with Eli Drake. He lists the top five "dummies" in Impact Wrestling: the fans of Impact, Austin Aries, Impact management, the fans of Impact (again), and Moose. He says that the fans of jealous of "the undeniable kavorka of Eli Drake," then goes on to call Moose a half-wit for losing his World title briefcase to him. He then accepts Moose's challenge to face him next with the winner facing Austin Aries. Suddenly, Moose shows up and congratulates Eli Drake for having the cheesiest one-liners in the company before saying Eli Drake is a dummy for losing the tag team titles and his World title match against Pentagon Jr. He then says Eli Drake is a dummy and a loser. Eli then says he does not need gold because he is gold, then punches Moose. Moose fights back by slamming Eli Drake's head into the podium, but Eli Drake hits Moose with the Gravy Train before throwing the podium on top of him .

"The Machine" Brian Cage quickly beats Rohit Raju. After the match, "Reborn" Matt Sydal shows up and congratulates him on his win. He says that Cage is jacked, tan and able to throw anyone else around, but then he says that instead of strength, he sees inner weakness, and he can complete "The Machine" and show him the path if he forgoes his shot at the Impact X Division Championship. Cage responds by hitting Sydal with an F5.

Next week: "The Machine" Brian Cage vs. "Reborn" Matt Sydal for the Impact X Division Championship! Moose vs. Eli Drake for #1 contendership to the Impact World Championship at Slammiversary!

Eddie Edwards arrives at the woods for his unsanctioned match against Sami Callihan.

Josh Mathews interviews Austin Aries via Skype. He does not care who he defends the World title against at Slammiversary, even though Eli Drake has a poor track record against him and Moose may be in over his head facing him. He then says that he will do whatever it takes to get the job done. As for who he thinks he will win between Eli Drake and Moose, he does not seem to care who will face him.

It is announced that Johnny Impact will be returning to Impact Wrestling at Slammiversary.

We see a video package chronicling the events of the feud between Madison Rayne and Tessa Blanchard.

Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Tessa Blanchard, who says that she is still a winner and that Madison Rayne is a loser who has to stroll down memory lane. Suddenly, Kiera Hogan shows up. Blanchard becomes aggressive, but Kiera tells Blanchard she is not here to rub her loss in her face, then says she did not live up to the hype. Blanchard throws Hogan into some boxes in retaliation, but Kiera hits some elbows. A member of security tries to stop the brawl, and Blanchard strikes back and eventually gets the last word.

We hear from Moose, who says Eli Drake fucked up. He planned on simply beating him next week, but now he is going to hurt him after what he did earlier tonight.

Alisha Edwards and Tommy Dreamer stop Eddie Edwards before he can kill Sami Callihan, who manages to escape. They try to reason with Eddie, but Eddie hits Dreamer in the groin and goes after Sami.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
