Nikki gets a phone call from Brie and Bryan. Nikki has an autograph signing at a local Buckle, but Brie cannot make it because Birdie is sick. On the way there, Nikki gets a phone call from her publicist that the news about her and John Cena is about to go public, and she feels bad that this news is about to be revealed to the rest of the world and feels sad that she will be thinking about it during the whole signing.
At John Cena and Nikki's house in San Diego, California, Brie comes over. Nikki says she has not felt lonely, but she still feels a little bit sad. It is now revealed that John Cena and Nikki are no longer together, and Brie says that John talked about their relationship. After ambiguity on John Cena's behalf, it is implied that it may not be over between John Cena and Nikki. Nikki says that she just wants to be a mom.
Brie and Bryan have sold their home in Phoenix, Arizona. As they pack things up and as Brie takes care of business things, Nikki is in charge of watching Birdie. Brie feels like she has put a lot on her place to raise a family and take care of her career, but she knows that she has had to sacrifice a lot to make everything work.
Nikki is taking care of Birdie when she finds out that Bellaridicci has oversold by 444 bottles. Afterwards, Nikki talks with Kathy, J.J. and Lauren, and she feels proud of herself and how she has done with taking care of Birdie.
At John and Nicole's house in San Diego, California, Nikki hires one of her cousins as a nanny to get her workout in. Meanwhile, Brie and Bryan are packing when Bryan suddenly finds Brie's pregnancy mold. Brie is reminded of the memories that she had of having Birdie as well as taking care of her as she and Bryan pack.
As Nikki goes shopping for baby clothes with Kathy and J.J., Nikki feels like she could be a career woman just like Brie. J.J. reminds Brie that help with the baby can only go so far and that sometimes, the help might not make it through.
Nikki calls Brie. She tells her that her day has been productive and also mentions the nanny that watched Birdie as she went to go work out, and says Brie should look into full-time help. A surprised Brie tells Bryan about this, and Brie and Bryan talk about the possibility of looking into full-time help, with Bryan tells Brie that if she looked into it, she would be able to focus on other aspects of her life.
Brie and Bryan take one last look at their house in Phoenix, Arizona before heading to San Diego, California.
Nikki and Birdie look at the sunset when Brie and Bryan show up. Nikki proposes to Brie to get full-time help regarding Birdie. Brie says she has felt ashamed of doing it, but not anymore.
At John Cena and Nicole's house in San Diego, California, Nikki is getting ready for a dinner date with John Cena - their first since they took time away from each other. Nikki tries to get mentally prepared for her meeting with John.
Nikki meets John Cena at a restaurant for their dinner date. After talking about where their relationship has headed, John asks Nikki to tell him how she genuinely feels. Nikki says there is more that she wants to do with John, but at the same time, she wants to be a mother. John says she cannot have Nikki out of his life and wants to marry her, and since marriage and relationships are about sacrifice, he is willing to be a father for Nikki's child, even going so far as to have the surgery to make it possible again.
