Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for June 9, 2018

Flip Gordon beats Jonathan Gresham. After the match, Bully Ray gets in the ring. Flip Gordon is ready to fight, but Bully Ray says that if he was going to hurt him, he would have done so already. He then says he has learned things about Flip Gordon that has changed his opinion of him. He mentions Flip's family living in Montana, and says his parents wanted to retire there. He also talks about his mother passed away from cancer as he purchased a 50-acre ranch for his father, and as he was making the purchase, his father died of a heart attack. He hands Flip pictures of his parents and says he and Flip could have been neighbors. He also mentions Flip having been in the military, and while he may not have respect for how he came up in the wrestling business, he has respect for what he has done for his country and wants to shake his hand. He also there that there is zero heat and that there are no problems between them anymore. Flip and Bully Ray shake hands, then they salute each other before Bully Ray kicks Flip Gordon in the groin. He then tells Flip Gordon he is nothing more than a "stupid young boy," drops the microphone and leaves.

Kelly Klein beats Deonna Purrazzo. During the match, referee Mike Posey is inadvertently knocked out, but Posey gets back up before Kelly Klein reverses the Fujiwara Arm Bar into The End Of The Match.

We hear from Jay Lethal, who announces that he will face KUSHIDA at Best In The World. At War of the Worlds 2014, he won; at the same event in 2017, KUSHIDA won. He considers this their rubber match, and at Best In The World, he is the one who will win and close out the series.

We hear from Dalton Castle, who says that at Best In The World, he has two challengers who are seemingly friends. He is not worried about the collusion between "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and "The Villain" Marty Scurll. He says that he smells like fire and that he is like a furnace, and that Cody and Scurll should both fear him.

Caprice Coleman guests on commentary for the next match.

The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships against Roppongi 3K (Sho and Yoh) after Jay throws a steel chair, allowing Mark to kick Yoh in the groin before Jay hits Yoh with the Jay Driller while Mark gets Sho in the rear naked choke.
