Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 11, 2018

The Raw participants of both Money In The Bank Ladder Matches are on top of ladders in the ring at the start of tonight's show. General Manager Kurt Angle then shows up. Angle talks about both Money In The Bank Ladder Matches that will be taking place this Sunday, and calls these Ladder Matches "the most grueling match in WWE history" before saying that the briefcase that allows for an instant championship cash-in is worth it. Suddenly, Constable Baron Corbin shows up, now with a shaved head and business causal clothing, and announces he represents the Commissioner and is here to see Raw runs smoothly. Angle wants to see both the men's and women's Money In The Bank Contracts come to Raw, and Corbin says that if they do not, there will be repercussions. Alexa Bliss says she may be hurt, but she will still win the women's contract. This soon leads to an argument between Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks and Ember Moon. Natalya, when asked by Angle if she is ready, says she is ready to take the contract and hopefully cash in on "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey. The women argue again, then Kevin Owens says the odds against him are unfair. As he demands the briefcase be the same height for everyone and thanks Corbin on his new haircut, Braun Strowman threatens to beat Owens up before taking the contract on Sunday. Alexa Bliss screams to get Strowman and Owens to show up, then says she predicts Strowman will win the men's match. Sasha Banks predicts Finn Balor to win the men's match, and Balor predicts Sasha will win the women's match. Everyone then argues again before Strowman screams. Strowman then says that on Sunday, somebody is going to get these hands.

Natalya beats Ember Moon, Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks in a Fatal 4-Way Match with a Sharpshooter to Alexa Bliss.

Backstage, Finn Balor is lacing his boots when Kevin Owens shows up with a small bowl of olives. He says they should have a plan for the men's Fatal 4-Way Match tonight, but Balor is hesitant after last week. Owens says they have a lot in common: they are fierce competitors, they are former Universal Champions, and neither of them got their title rematch. He says that if Braun Strowman wins the contract and cashes in, he would be Universal Champion forever. He proposes that they and Bobby Roode all work together to take out Strowman, saying it does not have to be every man for himself; instead, it can be every man against monster.

Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre beat Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango). After the match, Ziggler says the tag team battle royal loss was a fluke and that he and Drew have put it behind them. He and McIntyre then use Breezango as examples that they are not just hype, and they tell all the teams in the back to take a good look, because the show starts and ends with them. McIntyre says he and Ziggler will save the tag team division by taking every other team out.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Roman Reigns, who is not surprised that Jinder is challenging him six days before Money In The Bank. He says Jinder is an idiot, and that he is not in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match because of him. He says that Jinder has earned everything coming to him, and now it is time to have some fun and deliver a receipt that is paid in full.

Before the next match, Jinder Mahal says he challenged Roman Reigns tonight to prove that Roman is not as unstoppable as he is, and while he is a multi-time champion who has main evented multiple WrestleManias, the winds are changing and he can see what the people cannot. At Money In The Bank, he sees Roman suffering, out of breath and unable to keep up with him, and he sees Roman being defeated after dishing out Khalass after Khalass. Suddenly, Roman Reigns shows up. Jinder then tells Roman that he has heard everything Roman said earlier, and says his failures are clouding his judgement. He then says that when he made the challenge, he didn't say he was the opponent, and announces that Roman's opponent is The Great...Sunil Singh.

Roman Reigns quickly beats Sunil Singh. After the match, Jinder Mahal rushes into the ring and hits Roman Reigns with the Khalass.

The B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) beat Heath Slater and Rhyno. After the match, Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt are seen clapping for The B-Team on the TitanTron. Matt says The B-Team's celebration is worthy of "a standing, broken O," then Bray says they are here. The arena goes dark, and Bray and Matt appear on the stage when they come back on. Matt congratulates The B-Team for proving themselves as contenders to the Raw tag team title, but tells them to beware, for they are all-knowing. Bray says The B-Team are surrounded by the woken and the fireflies, and that they are always watching them. He says The B-Team's insides are burning like the river Styx, and that is fear he placed in them to remind them they bought the ticket and they will have to ride. Matt says the game is now afoot, and when they are done, they will eat and delete The B-Team.

Backstage, Elias says he will do his best, though tonight's performance will be tough for him as he is not used to performing in front of Arkansas hillbillies.

Elias is in the ring. He tells everyone to remember this moment right now, as he is a once-in-a-lifetime performer and he is in his final moments before he becomes the WWE Intercontinental Champion. At Money In The Bank, Seth Rollins will know that WWE stands for "Walk With Elias." He then tells everyone to silence their cellphones and hold their applause so that he may perform. He says it is hard for everyone to contain their excitement when he is performing, but he demands everyone shut their mouths. He then sings about Seth Rollins and proceeds to mock him, then verbally trashes Little Rock, Arkansas. Elias then says he was not going to do this, but he has something to show everyone. He then reveals a custom-painted Fender guitar with his name and the WWE Intercontinental Championship that was given to him by John Mayer. He then announces that next week, he will perform the best song of his career with the Intercontinental Championship around his waist. Seth Rollins then shows up and sends Elias out of the ring, and asks Elias when he will get some guts and stop being a coward. He tells Elias he is not hard to find and that he is in the middle of the ring every night begging for a fight, and that all he had to do is ask. He then says the worst part of it all is that he wanted to like him, as he is talented. He then looks at the custom-made guitar, which has been left in the corner in the ring. Elias begs Rollins off from the stage, but Rollins takes a closer look. He picks up the custom-made guitar and looks at it, saying it looks nice. He then asks the audience if they got a good look at it, and says that he would hate for the guitar to go to waste. He then holds a charity auction for the guitar in the middle of the ring, and Elias tries to bid on the guitar to get it back. Rollins apologizes to Elias and lays the guitar down, saying he does not want to hurt it as the craftsmanship is nice. He teases stomping on it, which scares Elias half to death. Elias begs Rollins not to destroy the guitar, and Rollins says that while he can't play an instrument, he knows a song with three words to it: Burn It Down. He asks the Little Rock crowd to chant it, then curb stomps the guitar. Rollins then mockingly plays the guitar, much to the irritation of Elias.

Backstage, Kevin Owens tries to get Bobby Roode to work together with him and Finn Balor in tonight's Fatal 4-Way Match to stop Braun Strowman from winning.

Backstage, The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan) trash a hallway before cutting a man's tie off with a pair of scissors.

Ruby Riott beats Bayley following the distraction by Sarah Logan. After the match, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan hold Bayley down, and Ruby Riott draws an "R" on Bayley's stomach before hitting Bayley again.

Backstage, Natalya meets with "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey. Natalya asks Ronda to never take her eyes off Nia Jax, as she wants her to be ready.

Jonathan Coachman moderates the face-to-face meeting with Nia Jax and "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey. Rousey is introduced, followed by Nia Jax. Nia Jax says she and Ronda are very competitive outlets, and while walking down the red carpet is one thing, it will get intense in the ring. She pushes Ronda's buttons to see how she would react, and while Ronda is beautiful and talented, she is still very new to the WWE. She admits that Ronda's success came from MMA, and that there are things in the UFC that one cannot do in WWE. She then promises to show what she is all about on Sunday. Ronda says she can improvise, and that she will improvise her arm off. She is confident, but she has earned the right to be confident despite being in only one WWE match. Nia Jax admits Ronda's first match was impressive, though it was in a tag match against Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. She says that she has been here a while and that she has been grinding, and that she is Raw Women's Champion because of that. If Ronda wants to take her arm on Sunday, she will take her reputation, because they will be calling her "the baddest woman on the planet" when she is done. Nia says she knows she can beat her, and that is why she challenged her, for in the end, she is just not ready. Ronda gets up from her chair and asks "Not ready?" She then says she is used to people telling her she was not ready and proving those people wrong. She then says she was born ready and takes her jacket off. Nia Jax gets up and lifts up the Raw Women's Champion, then tries to attack her. Ronda blocks her forearm, but Nia Jax headbutts her. Nia Jax continues to hold Ronda, who then puts Nia in an armbar. Nia tries to block it while Ronda tries to lock it in, and Nia tries to pick Ronda up and powerbomb her. Ronda wrestler back down to the mat, and Nia starts tapping out while on her knees.

Backstage, Finn Balor talks with Bobby Roode. Roode suggests they listen to Kevin Owens, but at the same time they keep an eye on him. Finn says he'll do that as well as keep an eye on Roode.

WWE crew members set up an obstacle course around the ring as we see a video featuring Big Show and Special Olympics powerlifter Katie Millar as part of WWE's partnership with Special Olympics.

Renee Young interviews Sami Zayn on the stage. Sami says he has challenged Bobby Lashley to an obstacle course because he legitimately asked Lashley if he was ever in the United States Army. He then says that despite people sending proof, he cannot legitimize these claims. As a result, he has set up an Army-style obstacle course with a tire flip, low crawls, a wall jump consisting of three wooden walls, monkey bars and a rope climb, and all the while, he says Lashley will fail and that he is better at this than Lashley will be. He then says that when Lashley fails, it will prove that Canada has the best military in the world and not the United States. Lashley then shows up, and says everyone is tired of hearing Sami and that he will beat the obstacle course before beating Sami on Sunday. A coin is tossed, and Bobby Lashley goes first on the obstacle course. Sami says the timer starts on his count, and Lashley powers his way through the obstacle course in 42 seconds. He is then blindsided by Sami Zayn. Sami Zayn hits Lashley with a Helluva Kick, then referees and officials check on Lashley while Sami is held back.

Backstage, Kevin Owens formulates a strategy against Braun Strowman with Finn Balor and Bobby Roode. Finn says they have not agreed to anything, then Braun shows up and says he has a great idea: all three of them teaming up on him.

Braun Strowman beats Kevin Owens, Bobby Roode and Finn Balor in a Fatal 4-Way Match despite being frog splashed through the commentary table from the top of a ladder by Kevin Owens as well as taking everyone else's finishers.
