Generation NXT - NXT recap for October 12, 2016

The show starts with the entrance of Bobby Roode, "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger...and the debuting SAnitY. The two men who unmask are identified by commentary as Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton.

SAnitY (Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton) beat Bobby Roode and "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger to continue on to the next round of The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic after Roode leaves Dillinger high and dry, wanting no part of SAnitY. After the match, the smallest member attacks Dillinger only to reveal their identity: Nikki Cross. The last masked member left leaves Dillinger laying before revealing themselves to be none other than Eric Young.

Billie Kay and Peyton Royce mock Liv Morgan for losing to Asuka last week, and Billie decides to rub it in tonight by making her match against Liv tonight last just a little bit longer. Peyton Royce says she'll be there ringside.

Bobby Roode tells Charly Caruso that "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger is "The Perfect Loser" and that he wants nothing to do with the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. He says that Dillinger begged him to be his tag team partner, and if Dillinger is hurt, then it is Dillinger's fault, not his.

Billie Kay beats Liv Morgan after Peyton Royce grabs Liv's foot from ringside, distracting Liv and giving Billie Kay time to hit the big boot.

Last week, Andrade "Cien" Almas called Cedric Alexander "nothing" and that he is the best.

TM61 (Nick Miller and Shane Thorne) beat the debuting Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss to advance to the next round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. (Riddick Moss has competed in NXT in the past as Mike Rallis.)

Rich Swann and No Way Jose take on Tony Nese and Drew Gulak in Round 1 of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic next week on NXT.

Buddy Murphy vs. Wesley Blake ends with both men being attacked by Samoa Joe. Joe then calls out General Manager William Regal, demanding he receive either "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura or the NXT Championship, and that nobody moves and nothing happens until that happens. Nakamura shows up with the NXT Championship and a neck brace which is ripped off, and he goes after Joe. Joe and Nakamura brawl, and security and some referees still aren't enough to break it up as Nakamura and Joe take down every member of security that shows up. The brawl and the show ends with Nakamura hitting the Kinshasa on Joe. (It should be noted that one of the security guards is Mada Abdelhamid from Tough Enough Season 6.)
