Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for November 4, 2023

Dustin Starr interviews The Roberts Family Legacy (Aaron Roberts, Cordale Roberts, Big Red) and Justin Case at the announce desk. Justin Case says it is trios time in Memphis Wrestling, and he hopes the rings are a little bit bigger this year. Aaron Roberts says they do not care about being disrespectful because they bring the disrespect, and when it comes to the Trios Championship Tournament, it's not about being the best being against the ones who will lose.

The Roberts Family Legacy (Aaron and Cordale Roberts) beat The Top Guns (Brandon Barretta and Joe Vinetti).

We see footage from last Saturday's event at the Greater Memphis Chamber.

We hear from Reverend Ash Taylor, who says that everyone has questions and wants to know where Big John Dalton is, then promises that Dalton is in good hands at his compound. He announces that next week, the fans will see what he can do for all of them if they just walk the righteous path, as Dalton will be anointed as the newest member of his flock.

Tim Bosby beats "The Best of the Best" Austin Lane by disqualification. "The Best of the Best" Austin Lane retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship. Marty Elias is the referee for this match. During the match, "Smokin' Hot" Nikki Lane stomps Bosby as he has Austin Lane in Cattle Mutilation, and Mackenzie Morgan gets in the ring and fights Nikki. Bosby and Mackenzie overpower Austin and Nikki until they are able to slip out of the ring. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Bosby at the announce desk. Bosby says Austin has screwed him left and right, and Mackenzie says she used to look up to Nikki until she lost all respect for her for putting her hands on Bosby. She then proposes a winner-takes-all tag team match with both the Internet and Women's titles on the line.

"The Goddess of the Night" Nyxx beats Diana Taylor with a schoolkid pin following the distraction from Matt Williams and Storybook Prince Gaston.

We hear from "All The Way" Ray Collins, who says that the last year has been amazing and that he can take things another step further. He says he has had a few injuries, but he will be back in the ring, for he is a small-town kid from Mississippi trying to live a dream and go all the way.

Dustn Starr announces that Memphis Wrestling will be returning to Brighton, Tennessee on Friday, December 1st for Brighton Brawl 2 at Brighton Middle School (7785 US Hwy 51) to raise funds for Brighton Baseball and Softball. We then see some footage from last year's Brighton Brawl.

Dustin Starr interviews Flex. Flex admits that he took a bit of a licking, and while he does not know who tried to run him over, they will be found out. He does know that next week, Tim Grind will get his retribution.

"The GunShow" Brett Michaels retains the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship against Van Viciouss. Will Gibson is the referee for this match. During the match, "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock stands up from out of his wheelchair and hits Brett Michaels with his cane, which causes him and his lawyer to get ejected from ringside.
