Generation NXT - NXT recap for November 22, 2022

Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne) heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Mandy Rose says that another one bites the dust and that there is only queen in the NXT ring after beating Alba Fyre on her own last week to become last woman standing, and now, there is the Iron Survivor Challenge to determine her next opponent. She admits that while it is a shame that she cannot add another title to her collection, she will be watching Deadline closely, as whoever wins the Iron Survivor Challenge will not have a chance in hell of beating her. Jacy Jayne says that Mandy Rose can sit on her throne and wait for her next opponent while she and Gigi Dolin can refocus on become women's tag team champions, and Gigi says waiting to get the titles back has become intolerable and that Toxic Attraction is a real team. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance show up, and Kayden says they are tired of Toxic Attraction running their mouth while Katana Chance says that Mandy is only champion because of Isla Dawn. Katana also says that Toxic Attraction is a trainwreck waiting to happen and that Gigi and Jacy spend all their time protecting Mandy because she will have no use for them when she loses her title. Gigi says that Katana and Kayden are ruining their titles, but Kayden says they have made the titles worthy. Jacy says Toxic Attraction made them relevant, and once they take the women's tag titles back, they will be irrelevant like before. Katana and Kayden run into the ring to brawl with Toxic Attraction, but they are quickly laid out.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Wes Lee is met by Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo. D'Angelo says he has not forgotten what he did to him. Wes Lee tells D'Angelo he knows where to find him when he is done tonight.

Cora Jade mocks the fans before heading to the ring.

Backstage, Grayson Waller shows up in the locker room and tells Duke Hudson that while he likes the dedication to Chase U, he asks when it is going to end because it is "not him." Grayson says Duke's true colors will show eventually, but Duke says his colors are black and red. Grayson laughs as he leaves the locker room.

Cora Jade beats Wendy Choo after throwing Wendy's drink into Wendy's face as the referee takes Cora's Kendo stick away from her. After the match, Wendy Choo is visibly crying.

We see Apollo Crews writing in a journal at a diner as he says that at Deadline, he will face Bron Breakker and rewrite history by winning the NXT Championship six months to the day of his return. He says that he stays up and night thinking about the match. He says that being champion is taking its toll on Bron and he knows it, and when one looks into his eyes, his vision is quite clear.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Kiana James, who says that nobody intimidates her and that she counts her losses because there are so few, then ignores a question about not closing the deal on Fallon Henley's bar and says she has a match to win. After the match, Javier Bernal shows up with a list of 1,347 people he wants to face, including Elon Musk (as he doesn't want to pay $8 for a checkmark) and Drake (because of his last album). McKenzie says there is no way Javier is facing anyone on the list. Javier says that if he keeps getting that attitude, he just might fight her.

Backstage, Chase University students chat with Thea Hail and Duke Hudson show up when Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) show up asking for Duke's help with a poker game. When Duke responds with a no, Pretty Deadly tell Duke to stop with the Chase U act. When Elton Prince calls Duke Hudson "a stooge," Duke Hudson fights both members of Pretty Deadly immediately.

Ivy Nile beats Kiana James with the Diamond Chain after Fallon Henley shows up and stops Kiana from leaving the ring, then Fallon Henley beats up Kiana James and chases her through the crowd. After that, The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) shows up and Julius Creed says that Ivy Nile is proving herself yet underappreciated, but she is not attacking people like Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan and Sanga). He says that he and Brutus Creed have faced larger men their entire lives. As Brutus Creed says that intimidation and fear do not work on them, he says that respect is the last thing Indus Sher will get from them. Julius Creed says it will just be them and Indus Sher in the ring at Deadline, and if they want respect, they will have to come and get it. As this happens, Ivy Nile tries to talk them out of it.

We hear from Isla Dawn, who says that Alba Fyre's fire has gone out thanks to her, and while she gave a warning, nobody saw her coming. She says that to find answers, one must listen to the spirits that guided her to Alba. Isla Dawn then says that she and Alba Fyre will have so much fun together.

At Chase U, Duke Hudson shows up after running all the way to Andre Chase's office to mention what happened with Pretty Deadly and mentions that they have a NXT Tag Team title match tonight.

Scrypts - formerly Reggie - beats Guru Raaj in his NXT debut. After the match, Scrypts leaves a calling card on Guru Raaj.

The Schism (Joe Gacy, Jagger Reid, Rip Fowler, Ava Raine) are seated at a table in the ring. Gacy says autumn is the time of year when trees shed their leaves, much like how The Schism sheds transgressions in favor of togetherness. He says that it is The Schism's duty to reinforce a day of togetherness and something to be thankful for. Ava Raine says that family are torn apart by Thanksgiving despite the meaning of the day, and while blood relatives cannot be counted on for togetherness, The Schism can be counted on. Rip Fowler says that Thanksgiving has exploded into a ritual of overabundance and gluttony that cannot be contained. Meanwhile, Ava Raine picks a person out of the crowd. Jagger Reid says consumerism has taken over and that people are more concerned about Black Friday deals when they should be concerned about their belief systems. Ava Raine brings the person she picked (played by independent wrestler Cameron Stewart) to the table in the ring, and Gacy says that The Schism will christen a new holiday while their hand-picked volunteer will be a bridge from the old traditions left behind in favor of new traditions. The Schism rises to pledge on the day of "Schism Invictus" to refuse anyone who is not The Schism, and build strength through togetherness. Ava Raine hugs the volunteer as Gacy says it is too late, then Ava looks into the camera as Gacy says they are now divisive. Gacy thanks the volunteer for his sacrifice, then slams him through the table.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Trick Williams, who says that Carmelo Hayes will beat Wes Lee into oblivion when Wes Lee shows up. Trick sees Wes Lee, but Wes lee tells him to talk about "how money 'Melo is." Trick Williams is confident that Carmelo Hayes will win without him, and Wes Lee says Trick Williams can watch Carmelo take a loss from the locker room. Afterwards, he tricks Trick into saying Carmelo does not need him at ringside.

We see Bron Breakker out on the lake fishing as he talks about how being NXT Champion comes with a lot of weight and responsibility, and admits it takes a toll after a while. He says it feels like Superman at first, but as time goes on, there is more weight and more pressure, which is why he heads to the lake to fish as the fish slow down and expand his bait choice. He also says it is his escape to drop all that weight. Bron Breakker says that back at shore, Apollo Crews is next, and the next challenge begins. He says that the weight goes back on at Deadline, and after he retains the NXT Championship, everyone knows where to find him.

Zoey Stark beats Sol Ruca. After the match, Nikkita Lyons shows up and brawls with Zoey Stark and Zoey goes for a post-match attack on Sol Ruca, and Nikkita soon sends Zoey running.

Backstage, Malik Blade and Edris Enofe asks Von Wagner and Mr. Stone to join them. Von Wagner says that Malik has swag and that he could use a night out being mediocre, and that Malik and Edris don't know success and he would never be caught dead with them. After calling Edris and Malik a couple of losers, Von Wagner attacks then, and Odyssey Jones shows up as Von Wagner tears Malik Blade's sweater vest.

We see a vignette for Charlie Dempsey, who says that the legends of old only had their bodies and that he trains like they do to become a better wrestler while others train to look good for Instagram. He says that there are lots of pretenders - and even a security guard - in NXT, but he will have them all screaming when he stretches them in the ring, as professional wrestling is serious business.

Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) retain the NXT Tag Team Championships against Andre Chase and Duke Hudson after Hudson inadvertently boots Chase in the face.

We see Indi Hartwell confront Roxanne Perez backstage on TikTok, which leads to other members of the women's division confronting Indi and Elektra Lopez noting she is not the only person having a problem with Indi.

Backstage, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance run into Nikkita Lyons, who says that Kayden and Katana were right and that she and Zoey were not a real team, and they all agree that Zoey could not see that Nikkita was a badass after she showed her true colors. Nikkita also tells Kayden and Katana that she has their back if they need a third person against Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne).

Wes Lee retains the NXT North American Championship against Carmelo Hayes after Wes Lee takes out Trick Wiliams for heading to ringside to check on Carmelo Hayes. After the match, Donovan Dijak - now no longer T-Bar (and also not going by the name Anthony Justice as originally thought) - is seen behind T-Bar, and he hits Wes Lee with Feast Your Eyes to end the show.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
