Black Friday - Rampage recap for November 25, 2022

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) retain the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships against Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin). After the match, The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) taunt FTR from the stage.

We see a video package of Powerhouse Hobbs driving around Oakland, California. Hobbs says that like every time someone has take everything that means something from him, he will take everything that means something from them.

The Jericho Appreciation Society heads to the ring. Chris Jericho asks if there is any doubt that he is the greatest Ring of Honor World Champion of all time, then says he has beaten everyone who has been thrown his away, including Tomohiro Ishii, and that he has earned the title. He says that not even Claudio Castagnoli can give him a cheap shot and slow him down, then asks who will uncrown "the king of Ring of Honor." Claudio shows up and says that Jericho is not the greatest champion and that he knows he can beat him, yet he doubted himself when he could beat him when it counted. He says that when he came to AEW, he wanted to be the best, and that he is the best when he does not doubt himself. After Claudio says he has to beat Jericho, Jericho tells Claudio he should be more worried about The Blackpool Combat Club falling apart at the seams. Claudio says he cannot focus on anything else since his last loss to Jericho, and wants another shot at the Ring of Honor World Championship. Jericho declines, as Claudio has nothing to offer to him. "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard says that Claudio might have something after all, then says that while Claudio is a great wrestler, there was a time when he was a great sports entertainer, and that he could make a great addition to The Jericho Appreciation Society. Jericho likes the idea and decides to give him one more shot despite the recent knockout punch on stage, but if Claudio loses, he has to join The Jericho Appreciation Society. Claudio admits he was a great sports entertainer and still is, but he knows deep in his heart, despite all his doubts, that he is an even better professional wrestler, and come Final Battle, he will throw Jericho around like a little kid and beat him for the Ring of Honor World Championship and bring honor back to the title.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Toni Storm. Toni Storm says she is proud of Jamie Hayter and knew she would become a champion when they tore the house down at Full Gear. She says that while she showed how tough she was, she still needed Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Rebel's help to win. On the subject of her women's title reign being retroactively recognized as official, she says that she never saw her reign as an interim reign and that it is what the women's division deserves. Toni then says she broke her face before defending the women's title and that she will break it again to get it back.

Darby Allin beats Anthony Henry.

Backstage, Lexi Nair interviews Athena. After offering an "apology" to referee Aubrey Edwards and scaring Lexi Nair off, Athena says she was wondering how long it would take for Mercedes Martinez to show up, then asks when she will put the Ring of Honor Women's World Championship on the line, because she is waiting and she is game.

Hikaru Shida beats Queen Aminata. Before the next match, Penelope Ford and The Bunny show up and distract Shida before watching the entire match and leaving afterwards.

Mark Henry interviews Alex Reynolds, John Silver, The Butcher, Rush, Jose the Assistant, The Blade, and The Bunny. Preston "10" Vance is nowhere to be seen, and Silver says that 10 is supposed to be here right now and should be here, as does Alex Reynolds, who says that Andrade el Idolo's cohorts have been annoying them for months and that it comes to an end tonight. The Blade says it does not matter who shows up, as he, Rush and The Butcher are here to kick ass. The Butcher says he, The Blade and Rush are going to have an ass-whipping party and that the only people invited are Reynolds, Silver and 10. Rush says he is sick and tired of talking and that he is ready to fight.

Backstage, Lexi Nair interviews FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Harwood says it has been a great 2022 and that Wheeler is his best friend in the world aside from his family, and that 2022 has allowed him to etch his name among the greatest. He then challenges "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson to a one-on-one match on next week's Dynamite.

The Butcher, The Blade and Rush beat The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver) in a three-on-two handicap match. During the match, Evil Uno and -1 bring out Preston "10" Vance, then 10 suddenly hits John Silver with a discus lariat. The Butcher and The Blade hold Evil Uno down as Rush gets the win for his team, then The Butcher and The Blade throw Evil Uno into the ring steps before 10 hits Reynolds with the discus lariat. 10 then hits Evil Uno with the discus lariat and tears his mask, then puts Reynolds through a table along with Rush. 10 then unmasks and throws his mask down in front of -1 to end the show.
