Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 7, 2022

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Solo Sikoa head to the ring to start tonight's show. Jimmy Uso brags about Roman Reigns smashing Logan Paul and The Usos smashing The Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland and Butch) at Crown Jewel, and after a celebratory photo is shown on the TitanTron, Jey Uso mentions that The Usos will soon become the longest-reigning tag champs of all time. As he does, he mentions The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods), and The New Day soon show up. Kofi congratulates The Usos on their victory at Crown Jewel, then Xavier Woods says that in just four days, The New Day will defend their record against The Usos and become champions. Jimmy says they have given The New Day their props for their accomplishment, and he and Jey both state that they are proud of them and says it must feel good to be "the second-best tag team in WWE." Xavier Woods reminds The Usos that they still hold the records and that The Usos are chasing the team of first-generation Superstars that built this from the ground up and changed the face of tag team wrestling and that The Usos' legacy is off the back of their family. Jimmy Uso tells Woods he does not understand the pressure that he and Jey Uso have ever been under, but Woods tells them not to speak to The New Day about pressure when they have sat in catering with their jobs on the line and making a YouTube channel to get noticed. He says that the fans know about that pressure and that that pressure turned them into diamonds, but Jimmy Uso says Xavier Woods is talking about the crown he used to wear as King of the Ring and that The Usos have the real crowns now. Jey Uso says that if it weren't for them, there would be no "Kofi-Mania," then tells him to forfeit this match and play with his kids. Kofi says he cannot, and that their reign signified a time when they fought their hardest to achieve success and elevated The Usos. Matt Riddle suddenly shows up with his bongos and says he and Elias are forming a band, then Jey Uso tells him to shut up. Riddle talks about how he likes to "hit the bong" when he has to relax, then has Woods and Kofi hit the bongos. Riddle offers the opportunity to Solo Sikoa, who proves to be the strong and silent type, but Jimmy Uso happily hits the bongos until Riddle reminds him of the "tap, tap, pass" rule. Jey almost slaps the bongos out of Riddle's hands, but Riddle says nobody slaps the bongos out of his hand before challenging The Usos and Solo Sikoa to a six-man tag match.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Solo Sikoa beat Matt Riddle and The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) in a six-man tag match.

JBL heads to the ring. After the commercial break, JBL says he has sold out every great arena in the world, then says tonight's arena is not one of them. He then says that tonight will be the greatest night that everyone in the arena will ever have, then makes fun of the Pittsburgh Pirates not winning the World Series before introducing Baron Corbin for the next match.

Baron Corbin beats Cedric Alexander.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring. Rollins announces the return of the United States Championship open challenge, then The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio) show up. Finn Balor enters the ring while the rest of The Judgment Day surround the ring, then Finn tells Rollins that he has a bone to pick with him after costing him championship gold a couple of years ago and pledges to return the favor. Suddenly, The O.C. ("The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) show up, and Rollins is caught in the middle. Rollins steps out of the ring as Styles says it is far from over between The O.C. and The Judgment Day, but Finn Balor says The Judgment Day is over. AJ Styles admits that The O.C. have not found someone willing to take care of their "Rhea problem," as someone has found The O.C. Suddenly, Rhea Ripley is attacked by a returning Mia Yim as The O.C. and The Judgment Day brawl. AJ Styles and Finn Balor are the last two left in the ring, but Finn Balor soon retreats only to be slammed into the ring apron by Karl Anderson. Dominik Myserio dives at Styles, but gets caught and hit with a Styles Clash. The O.C. and Mia Yim stand tall in the ring.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Seth Rollins, who says that things got too tense and that it was none of his business, then says that tonight, there will still be an open challenge.

Otis beats Elias.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio). Finn Balor says The O.C. ("The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) has more problems now. Damian Priest says that nothing will change and that they will rise. Rhea Ripley then says The O.C. can bring a whole army, but nobody can touch her. As The Judgment Day leave, Bianca Belair shows up briefly, then walks by.

Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss head to the ring. We see phone footage from earlier today where the three of them have to be separated from Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky), then Bianca says she is proud to be last woman standing and still Raw Women's Champion, but Crown Jewel did not go as planned and things are far from over. Bianca then says she has something to say to Damage CTRL and tells them to get in the ring so she can say it to their faces. Damage CTRL shows up, and Dakota Kai says nobody cares that Bayley is still champion and that she has not beaten Bayley, yet Bayley has won twice. Dakota Kai brags about being Women's Tag Team Champions again, but Alexa Bliss says they had Damage CTRL the entire time and that she and Asuka only lost because of Nikki Cross. Asuka and Iyo Sky then trade words in Japanese, then Asuka calls Iyo a bitch in Japanese before Iyo Sky calls Asuka a bitch in English. Both teams brawl, Damage CTRL is sent running, and Bianca Belair says this is war and it is ending at WarGames. Suddenly, Bianca is attacked from behind by Nikki Cross, then she and Damage CTRL gang up on Asuka, Alexa and Bianca and lay them out.

Austin Theory beats Shelton Benjamin after hitting him in the eye prior to the A-Town Down.

Before the next match, The Miz says that he wants to speak with the fans with honesty, and that he can confirm that Johnny Gargano's interview is completely false and a blatant smear job with doctored evidence and deepfakes, yet nobody is looking at the sources. He says that he has to defend himself to everyone including his own family, as even his father believes Johnny Gargano. Miz says the only silver lining is that his agent's phone has not stopped ringing and that a producer wants to tell his real story. He says that the movie will take time, as he wants to generate some Oscar Buzz, and that he has also spoken to his lawyers regarding a defamation suit. Suddenly, Gargano shows up. Gargano says he has always liked Miz's dad and calls him "a very smart man," then says he cannot start the match in good conscience without mentioning something that he did, and blows his whistle on himself. He admits that he hoped that The Miz would be shamed into telling the truth, but that did not happen, and he realized that he needed stronger evidence against The Miz. He then admits he did something "just a little deceitful" to get it. Gargano then says he hired someone, and that the producer that Miz mentioned earlier was really a private investigator with a hidden camera. We then see the footage of The Miz getting the movie rights for what is going on between him and Dexter Lumis. In the footage, Miz says that whatever is said at the restaurant table stays at the table and that everything Gargano said is true, that he orchestrated what was going on between him and Lumis and that he paid Lumis. He also says that everything went well until he stopped paying Lumis because he was "out of control" and because of the WWE wanting to get involved and involve the police, and that Lumis should be thanking him for the notoriety he gave him.

The Miz beats Johnny Gargano after pretending to be dragged underneath the ring and hitting Gargano with a turnbuckle as the referee looks underneath the ring. After the match, The Miz yells into the camera until Dexter Lumis shows up and hits Miz in the back with a chair. He then runs through the crowd while being chased by security.

Backstage, Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky) speak with Nikki Cross, with Dakota Kai saying that Nikki Cross was lost and forgotten like they were and that she can take her anger out in side WarGames at Survivor Series. Iyo Sky tells Nikki Cross to destroy Dana Brooke, and Bayley says Nikki Cross can take her anger out tonight. Nikki laughs, then says "Time to play."

Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky) guests on commentary for the next match.

Nikki Cross beats Dana Brooke to become the WWE 24/7 Champion! After the match, Bayley places the 24/7 Championship on Nikki Cross' right shoulder as Nikki simply walks off.

Backstage, Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky) follow Nikki Cross as she tries and fails to throw the WWE 24/7 Championship in a garbage can.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews The O.C. ("The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) and Mia Yim. Styles says they have someone who can take the fight to Rhea Ripley, and Anderson says they have a "Rhea-lution." Mia Yim says that they will see how tough Rhea Ripley is against someone who hits back.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring. Rollins says he promised an open challenge for the WWE United States Championship and plans to keep it, then announces that this month marks ten years for him on the main roster. He says that the fans have been with him through it all, and the fans chant "Thank you, Rollins" as Rollins says the United States Championship means a lot to him, as it had been far too long since he held gold in WWE. Rollins then says that in a few short weeks, he has made the United States Championship the championship to have on Raw, then declares it is time to take care of business and issues an open challenge for the title. Suddenly, Mustafa Ali shows up on the TitanTron and says he does not have to look any further, as he is answering the challenge. He is then beaten up by Bobby Lashley, who says that he has no title because of Brock Lesnar - whom Lashley beat at Crown Jewel - and because of Rollins. As Lashley says he will make Rollins pay and answer the challenge, Mustafa Ali tries to jump him, but Lashley tosses him over a road crate.

Bobby Lashley vs. Seth "Freakin'" Rollins for the WWE United States Championship ends before it can start when Lashley attacks Rollins before the bell and puts him through the announce table as referees and security tell Lashley to get Rollins back in the ring. As Lashley is escorted to the back, Austin Theory shows up. After the commercial break, Austin Theory cashes in his Money In The Bank briefcase on Seth Rollins.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins retains the WWE United States Championship against Austin Theory in a Money In The Bank cash-in after Theory is attacked by Bobby Lashley.
