Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for November 2, 2022

Jay Lethal beats Darby Allin after a man dressed as Sting and wearing a Sting mask hits Darby with a baseball bat after Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt get ejected following Darby Allin bouncing off of Satnam Singh as he dives into him back first. After the match, the man dressed as Sting celebrates with Lethal's team, then is unmasked and revealed to be Cole Karter from The Factory. Karter joins in on the post-match attack on Darby, then Sting's music hits. Suddenly, Jeff Jarrett shows up with a red guitar and smashes the guitar into Darby's head. Jarrett then tells Darby that he got a lesson from "The Last Outlaw," and that whatever Darby worships becomes his weakness. He says that if Darby wants to worship Sting, then Sting has become his biggest weakness. Jarrett then warns all of AEW, from the fanbase to those in charge, that his family has been in wrestling for over 75 years and has left an impact. Jarrett says he is a two-time Hall of Famer and a twelve-time World Champion, and from day one, his family's fingerprints have been all over AEW, and that there will be four body bags before he is done. He then celebrates with Lethal's team.

We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that Lee Moriarty can change his fortunes if he can win tonight. He admits that he likes Moriarty a lot, but admits that Moriarty is not mean and violent enough for The Blackpool Combat Club. He promises to teach Moriarty a lesson in pain and perseverance as he backs him into a corner, and the only way out is through him. Moxley says that if Moriarty has any inner anger, now is the time to bring it to the surface, as he has no time for anything else.

We see a video of someone watching footage of the history of the AEW World Trios Tag Team Championships through a video editor, with The Elite being replaced with Death Triangle.

"All Ego" Ethan Page guest on commentary for the next match.

Jon Moxley beats Lee Moriarty in an AEW World Championship Eliminator Match with the Juujikatami. After the match, "All Ego" Ethan Page runs into the ring and boots Moxley in the face.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Renee Paquette interviews Saraya, with Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. being conspicuously absent. Saraya says she knows what it takes to be a star while Britt only cares about herself. Saraya says she has been in the business for thirty years and that she has been through a lot of adversity, and says that she has come to AEW because there was something special when it started and when the time was right, she wanted to help the women's division. Saraya also says that she has one more doctor that she wants to consult before she announces whether or not she can wrestle again.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is seen in the front row.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews William Regal, who says that MJF has all the potential in the world but has a long way to go at being a true villain. He says that potential will not help him become champion when he has to face a demon in Jon Moxley.

The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn head to the ring to celebrate Billy Gunn's birthday. Bowens talks about how "Sneaky Swerve" Strickland damaged Billy Gunn's hands so he could not scissor, and says that scissoring has taken over the world and that they cannot have a birthday back without scissoring. Max Caster busts out some pink Acclaimed foam fingers in the scissor position so that The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn can scissor, then Max acknowledges the signs in the crowd out there for them and that AEW stands for "Acclaimed Every Wednesday." After Bowens says that it is a fact of life that everyone loves The Acclaimed as well as Daddy Ass, Bowens asks the fans who wants a gift and Max Caster looks to see who has the best sign, and Max Caster finds a giant scissors sign held by a kid. The giant cardboard scissors becomes a gift for Billy Gunn, then Bowens acknowledges Billy Gunn's 30-year career and accomplishments (and the infamous TNA Reverse Battle Royal) before giving him a "World's Greatest Dad(dy)" trophy. Bowens references Billy Gunn's inability to be part of the recent D-Generation X reunion before thanking Billy Gunn for being a mentor and like a father to them, and he and Max present with a certificate of adoption, and all they need is Billy's signature. Suddenly, The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) - Billy Gunn's real, biological sons - show up with a gift: W. Morrissey showing up from behind and levelling The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn from behind before the two of them join in. All of a sudden, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) show up, and W. Morrisey and The Gunns leave the ring as FTR get in. They then pick up the AEW World Tag Team Championships and hand them back to The Acclaimed.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. says she is a conspiracy victim for far too long, and Jamie Hayter says she just wants to wrestle. Britt says she wants to wrestle, too, and the both of them want opponents on Rampage.

Chris Jericho, Daniel Garcia and Jake Hager head to the ring. Jericho says it made him mad when Claudio Castagnoli got a tainted victory against him, then says that he is ready for an open challenge against any former Ring of Honor Champion tonight. He says he will face any former champion in Ring of Honor and will even whip Lamar Jackson's ass before stating tonight will become another monumental in the "Ring of Jericho era." Jericho then demands that his challenger show himself, and his challenger is revealed to be none other than Colt Cabana.

Chris Jericho retains the Ring of Honor World Championship against Colt Cabana with a Codebreaker after Cabana takes out Daniel Garcia and Jake Hager with a moonsault for getting involved in the match. After the match, The Jericho Appreciation Society grab Ian Riccaboni from the announce table, and Jericho puts Ian's glasses on before slapping him and breaking the glasses. Claudio Castagnoli tries to make the save for Riccaboni, but the numbers game takes over. "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson runs in to help, and Sammy Guevara and Wheeler Yuta also run in before referees and security try to break things up.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix). Rey Fenix says he feels ready for tonight and that he will become a double champion, then PAC tells Fenix that if he wants real revenge for Death Triangle, he needs to use the ring bell hammer as a weapon, as it could be his only ticket.

Before the next match, it is announced that whoever wins the AEW All-Atlantic Championship will defend the championship against a dream opponent later this week on Rampage. Christian Cage also guests on commentary.

Orange Cassidy retains the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Rey Fenix and Luchasaurus after Jungle Boy hits Luchasaurus from behind with a chair and puts him through a table with a cross body from the stage after chasing Christian Cage to the back and after PAC hands Rey Fenix a ring bell hammer only for Fenix to toss the hammer aside. After the match, PAC attacks Orange Cassidy, then Katsuyori Shibata shows up with Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor. PAC retreats as Shibata looks at Orange Cassidy. Shibata points at the All-Atlantic title before Orange Cassidy hands him a contract. Shibata signs the contract, then he and Orange have a staredown.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Swerve Strickland and hip-hop recording artist Rick Ross. Rick Ross says he is here to make sure Swerve is the biggest wrestler in rap history before they drink some champagne. Keith Lee shows up and welcomes Rick Ross before wanting to know why Swerve has not returned his calls and why Swerve attacked Billy Gunn last week. Swerve changes the subject, saying that they will be in an eight-man tag match with The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) against The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler).

When the next match begins, Vickie Guerrero and "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose show up to do commentary on a live microphone and distract Jade Cargill.

Jade Cargill retains the TBS Championship against Marina Shafir. After the match, Kiera Hogan tries to take the TBS Championship from "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose only to be laid out by Nyla.

We see a vignette for The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews, Julia Hart) where Malakai Black and Brody King are wrapped in burial shrouds and buried in the dirt by Julia Hart and a bunch of people in black robes.

We see a video package where Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter talks about their history with each other prior to entering AEW.

Samoa Joe retains the Ring of Honor World Championship against "The Machine" Brian Cage with the rear naked choke. After the match, Prince Nana and The Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) attack Samoa Joe, then Wardlow heads to the ring and The Embassy (Prince Nana, Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona) retreats. All of a sudden, Wardlow is attacked from behind with a spinebuster by Powerhouse Hobbs, who then lifts up the TNT Championship.
